Wine Tasting Experience In Barcelona

Vivian was extremely knowledgeable and our group learned so much about Spanish wines. She was warm, friendly and made us feel comfortable. I would highly recommend, great value for the experience you're given.

We enjoyed the technical education on the wines, growing conditions and making. It was a great balance of science and tasting. The environment was charming. We had a great time.

The tasting is in a private room at the back of a small accessories store. Wine expert was very knowledgeable but not stuffy. Thoroughly walked through each of the wines and helped you understand the region and wine notes. No pressure to buy wine. Very helpful in locating a wine we were interested in buying. Great experience.

We had a good time! Learned a lot about Spanish wines, and enjoyed the other guests and the lovely wines. A little hard to find but worth it.

Vivian was a great host and very knowledgeable on wines of Spain. An added treat was her cheese pairings. Also her restaurant recommendations were spot on. We enjoyed both of them on consecutive nights. I would highly recommend this wine paring.

The wines were presented well from dry to robust and our guide being from chicago had a personal connection to husbands home town-Chicago. Robert was ver knowledgeable of the Spanish wines and the interactions with the other patrons made an enjoyable event!

My wife and I had a brilliant time at this wine tasting experience. It was loads of fun, really well hosted, and the wine itself was excellent; genuinely some of the finest I’ve ever tasted. There was plenty to go around too, so it felt very good value. The setting was lovely and quaint, which suited the experience perfectly and felt exactly right for Barcelona. We also got a really interesting insight into the history of the winemaking, which added a lot to the tasting rather than it just being about trying different wines. They also had a stag do on our session, and it looked like they were having a great time as well, so it seems to work well for both couples and groups. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would definitely do it again if we return to Barcelona. Highly recommended.

Fun and nice experience to learn about the wines of Spain with engaging and interactive sommelier! We did a variety of tastings and excellent cheeses that enhanced the experience! Definite with couples or a group of friends! You learn the wines together!

I really enjoyed this wine tasting and was just fine as a solo traveler, though I was the only one solo with 2 other couples when I attended. The sommelier was very knowledgeable about Spanish wines and the regions and grapes and instructed everyone in proper wine tasting etiquette and identifying aromas and flavors before offering larger pours for our favorite wines. The group became more chatty as the tasting progressed (as is typical haha) and I left tipsy and happy strolling my way through the beautiful gothic quarter to my dinner destination.

We had a lovely time at the wine tasting and our host was very informative and friendly. Made us feel relaxed and welcome. We tried a variety of wines while learning about them and had some nice snacks to go along with it too. We also loved getting to know the other people in our group. Would really recommend!

Robert did a fantastic job explaining where each of the wines was from, as well as what kind of grapes and how much fermentation was involved. Nice variety of both white and red wines .... enjoyed all of them, as well as the conversation amongst different groups attending the tasing. would highly reccomend!

The itinerary does not include details about how much walking is involved to get to the event. Our party had folks physically unable to walk that distance and therefore missed the excursion.

We had a fantastic wine-tasting experience here. The host was very knowledgeable and the wines were excellent. We actually regularly drink one of the Albariños we tried there at home. What is particularly good about this wine-tasting is that it is in a vintner's in Barcelona city centre. So it is something you can do while you are sightseeing in the city. I mean, what could be better than breaking up a day in Barcelona with some delectable charcuterie and amazing wines? If the answer is nothing ... then this is the spot for you.

Omar was amazing, good humored, and so knowledgeable. We had the best time learning about the wine we were drinking, and how to pair those wines. We received full glasses of five different wines. It was incredible. Equally great was the company. We loved making new friends during the experience. Overall, 10/10.

Wow! This was a wonderful experience. We were taught about wine production based each of the 5 wines we tried from the many regions of Spain. We selected the package with the 5 regional cheeses and learned how each wine paired with each cheese. The experience was affordable, and with a group of a maximum of 10, it felt like a private experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Fabulous tasting experience with all the good parts - bit of history and culture/ learning about wine production and regional information, wine tasting and cheese. Highly recommend. Met some lovely people ! Everyone was very chatty after the first hour !

This is a very good event. We got to try 5 wines. 1 sparkling wine, 2 whites and 2 reds with 5 matching cheeses. It was very relaxed and the guy was very knowledgeable. Loved it
