Wine Casino In Heart Of Barcelona

This has been our favourite tour of our entire 6 week trip in Europe. The experience was SO UNIQUE, the format is easy to follow, and the venue is gorgeous. Our host, Marcel, was so knowledgeable and friendly, and he was really helpful when we were stuck - but pushed us to really think about the wine. He also gave us hints on how to succeed at the game, making it accessible without dumbing it down for those less knowledgeable about wine. One group arrived quite late whilst the game was underway, yet he accommodated them gracefully. We absolutely loved it - so much so that we want to go again when we return to Barcelona this week! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Very interactive wine "tasting" that is fun and educational. You get to try 6 wines with some tapas. You have to try to guess which varietal, country and year it's from. Lots of fun!

This takes blind wine tasting to a delightfully fun and ultimately enlightening new level. How does this work? You are asked to provide your opinion on the varietal, the country of origin, and the vintage of each wine tasted. You show your conviction by the size of your bets from none up to your total stake (which is provided when you begin). The host gives various clues, some more cryptic than others. You have a descriptive card that also helps to guide your wagers. All are competing to take home a unique wine. Our group had a blast. I highly recommend this for a fun evening of wine drinking and some surprising insights.

What an experience, wine tasting at its best! The atmosphere, tapas and wine itself were top notch. Thorough and elaborate description for each type of wine you taste. Special thanks to Gleb for this journey, was very attentive and friendly.

Also, have to mention Glib - the owner and his charming wife Dasha, who we met during our visit and had a lovely chat with. Super cool people! This place is definitely worth visiting!

The place is absolutely amazing! I would like to highlight the atmosphere, the staff, the amuse-bouches and of course the wine list. Everything is just a next-level experience. Absolutely a must-visit place if you are into wines and a good vibe.

Not an expert in wine, just regular tourist, but definitely recommend this place, staff and host were super friendly and provided very relevant recommendations.

Wine subscription was a disappointment: had to nudge them for every delivery and the choice of wine was less than interesting

As withh all the other reviews, we had an excellent evening with Melissa for our private wine tasting. The venue, beautiful cellar style with great ambience. Generous glasses of wines, Cava, 2 reds and 2 white, or really good quality and traditional snacks. Melissa's passion and knowledge was what really made the tasting special . Highly recommended

This was such a gem - a really beautiful place in an interesting area. The history of vermouth was fascinating, and we all enjoyed testing all the different varieties. Plus, great tapas too! Great value for money and a thoroughly enjoyable activity to do on a hen do. Was super appreciated by everyone and Melissa was amazing!

We visited Salut wine studio yesterday for a private wine tasting. My friends and I had the best time from the get go. A super relaxed session, delivered by the very passionate and knowledgeable Melissa. The wine was ever flowing and the nibbles were perfection (especially the marmalade and manchego). Loved how Melissa’s journey through local wines felt authentic but also uniquely curated for us - heavily dosing her choices with female winemakers. The value for money (£35 per head) makes the whole experience super accessible too - there’s literally no reason, not to make a reservation here. Would whole heartedly recommend a visit here - whether you’re looking for a social gathering, business event or just to pick up a well thought out bottle for dinner … Salut Wine Studio is where you need to go!

I had the pleasure to participate in the Introduction to Wine Course at Salut Studio. This course met one time a week for a month, and every week we covered a different topic. This was the first time I actually had someone walk me through how to identify the characteristics of good wine. If you're interested in wine and want to go more in-depth than you'd typically get from a tasting, sign up for this course! Melissa, the owner and teacher, was a wonderful host and made sure our group learned a lot and tried a wide variety of different wines. Thank you, Melissa!

Absolutely amazing wine degustations on a wide range of topics! Me and my husband are huge fans and trying to regularly join degustations at Salut Wine Studio :) Melissa (the owner) is absolutely great wine connoisseur and an amazing person! Every degustation is unique and knowledgeable while selected wines never stop to amaze and surprise! Highly recommended!

Hands down, the best wine tasting experience in Barcelona. Melissa is a gem of a person and makes you feel for her passions in an instructive a profound manner.

I did a class with Melissa about Island's Mediterranean wines and it was great ! During two sessions, we discovered wines from Sicilia, Corsica, Greece, Baleares...it was delicious AND interesting. I highly recommend this cute little studio in the Born if you want to learn more about wines (especially natural ones) or discover new areas. Thanks again Melissa !

What a delightful spot! The studio is conveniently located in the El Born and Melissa is an outstanding guide through Catalan wines. It is a cozy space, perfect for learning about wine and chatting. There was zero pressure to purchase wines at the end of the tasting—but we did anyways as it was so delicious! Highly recommend. Head to La Catalista afterwards for continued delicious wine and food!

The space is the perfect setting to enjoy the carefully selected and delicious wines that our host gave us, she was very knowledgeable about Catalan and Spanish wines which was just what we where looking for!

I did a private wine tasting with 9 friends and family members, and every single person loved it. Melissa is very knowledgeable and fun. The wines she selected for the tasting were all excellent. The setting is beautiful and the atmosphere relaxed. If you like or want to learn more about Spanish wines, I cannot recommend Salut enough.
