This doesn't include a guided tour of the Picasso Museum. Very very disappointed. What is the point?

We loved this tour! Our lovely guide, Fiorella was charming and knowledgeable and the museum is beautiful!
Our tour guide was phenomenal. We did walking tour of Barcelona to all places that Picasso went to as person. Great seeing his home and school. I appreciated that we got to go to El Gats, the restaurant he went to with other artists of Modernist movement. I appreciated learning about the Picasso, the person. She also showed us columns from the Romans.
We were excited to get the confirmation of a guided tour. A day before we were told there were no tickets for a guided tour. That was a huge disappointment and did not reflect well on your company.
We loved every minute of our tour with Liliia. She added a lot of additional not well known anecdotal information to our Picasso tour and also included more information about Barcelona and Guadi we had not received before. She was a delight!
Sebastian was terrific! He had a great depth of knowledge and provided key insights on Picasso and his life, as well as the broader history and context of Spain. The tour also included the Gothic Quarters and entry to the Picasso Museum. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour, and highly recommend it. Seb was friendly, approachable and engaging. Many thanks!
We were fortunate to have Alan as our guide! He taught us so much about Picasso and the history and culture of Barcelona! Having an expert lead us through the winding streets allowed us to really see the city!!
Together with our teenage daughters we did a tour with a Picasso theme. Sebastian did a great job making it very engaging and bringing history to life. He adapted it to our interests, mixing in other interesting history of Barcelona, its artists and Spain in general. Good mix between walking around and taking stops at different landmarks.
What an amazing customized walk thru Barcelona - even tho our 2x here - it was a new Barcelona experience with Octavio ending at the Picasso museum. & your abanico helped with the heat! Gracias por todo
Fiorella was an amazing tour guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable about Picasso and the Barcelona area. She had great historical stories that brought the experience to life
Sadly, the tour guide cancelled on us shortly before the tour was scheduled to start and we were not able to reschedule during our stay in Barcelona. The tour operator needs to take better care of their customers and ensure booked tours are conducted as planned.
I learned very little about Picasso. The guide was constantly backtracking us on our walk, so it felt like we were just doing a lot of u-turns. She was personable and knowledgeable, but she just didn't seem to understand our vibe. It was like, if we weren't already Picasso experts, we just weren't going to talk much or see things related to Picasso. Oh well.
The tour should have included the Picasso museum. It was more of a tour of an area of Barcelona with a little emphasis on Picasso.
Liliia was an egaging guide who had many unexpected stories about the history and people of the Gothic quarter.
We went early on a Saturday which was perfect as we were without much of a crowd around us for almost the whole tour. The tour guide who was wonderful, took us through the winding streets and alleys pointing out all sorts of things we’d never find in our own. She was extremely knowledgeable on both the history of Barcelona and the art scene during Picasso’s time. This was our 3rd or 4th Viator experience ( all different cities) and they always deliver!
So we started with a late arrival by our tour guide. Then we walked around the streets for hours. Never entered the Museum of Architecture or the Picasso Museum (what we came to Barcelona to see and what is supposed to be 90 minutes). The guide said ‘we were so lucky to get tickets at 7pm’ (our tour ended at 1pm today there was no charge to go into the Picasso Museum). Problem is we had Picasso Museum and “treasures of Barcelona” scheduled 10:30am to 12:30 with a cooking class scheduled for 2pm. We never saw Picasso and do NOT recommend this tour. Who knows if we will ever return to Barcelona. We barely made our cooking class (which was terrific) and suggest you avoid this tour and excursion. What a waste of time and money. Problem is you can never get the missed experience back.
What a wonderful day with my tour guide Irina today! The day centered around Pablo Picasso and I was in heaven. Irina was an exceptional art historian and I learned so much about Picasso’s life, training and his art. Irina was very warm, friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the experience and Irina. Thank you!
I really enjoyed our walking tour with Ivanna. She was personable and very charming. She even reached out to me prior to tour to get some info about my partner and myself and to help coordinate timing for museum tickets which is something I really appreciated. She really helped us navigate the small streets of El Born, dropped us off in front of the Picasso museum and gave us plenty of recommendations for after the museum. Highly recommend spending the afternoon with her.
Sarah and I spent a charming afternoon with Illiia after a brief thunderstorm and a beautiful glass of wine at Rambla 7 before taking an incredible walk through the parts of Barcelona material to the discussion of his life before, during and after his sojourn in this magical city. Illia was lovely and so well informed on the subject and the area. We were rivetted for hours! Book this tour with Illiia!! You won't be disappointed!! Thank you again Illiia!!
Sergio was our guide. Absolutely wonderful, knowledgable, considerate, kind, safe. Museum was well worth the drive and cost. Sergio just added to the value with his knowledge and insights. Bravo!
Our guide, Liliia, was excellent in every respect. On time, friendly, had communicated with us a few times before meeting to clarify all aspects of meeting time and place, had a fantastic knowledge of English, kept a great walking place, made the places all relevant, especially as they related to the artists of Barcelona, her in depth knowledge of the history (past and present) was impressive, most considerate providing us with instructions on how to return to the port but also giving her phone number and offer of further assistance, if needed.
Lillia was an amazing tour guide and it was very knowledgeable about Picasso and the Gothic Quarter. I highly recommend this tour with Lillia!
Fiorella was a fantastic guide...knowledgeable and so nice! She got us completely ready to enjoy the Picasso museum. We didn't know our tour was on San Jordi day, and loved learning about that too and getting our roses and books. Can't thank or recommend her enough!!
Alan was our intelligent, knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. He led us around the Gothic Quarter and put Picasso's life in perspective. We learned so much about Barcelona along the way--we never expected such an outstanding tour full of rich information and insight. Put your walking shoes on. You'll be covering a lot of territory before the museum itself. This is an absolute must-do tour and consider yourself extra lucky if Alan is your guide.
Our guide ilona was very knowledgeable and passionate about art Picasso and her city of Barcelona She gave us great context and insights into the art history of the city and Picasso personally. Well worth the trip
The tour was cancelled two days before it was supposed to happen and then it was on again. But then it was cancelled 45 minutes before it was supposed to start. Really?
Worse tour I’ve taken in Barcelona. No communication between me and the trip leader like I’ve had with other tours . Was unsure of where the trip began. Unlike other Viator tours there was no email with link to map. I tried to call and text Elvira to say we were going to be late and find out if we could meet the group somewhere along the way but no answer. Me and my 3 friends spent a lot of money for this tour. I called the Viator phone and was told they would call me back and I got a voicemail message that made no sense at all. Don’t sign up for this trip!
The guide never showed up! When I called they said the reservation wasn't confirmed although I have a confirmation number . So they were good about saying I'll get refunded we will see if that happens. Do not use these people
Hanna was a great guide. She is an expert not only in art history but also Barcelona, it’s people and it’s heritage. We loved exploring the city with her.
To begin with the meeting point was so obscure that two cabs drivers could not find it. Most of the "historic" designations were unmarked and unremarkable. Almost all of the information can be found at the museum. While I have found Viator to be great in most cases this tour was subpar and quite frankly a total waste of time and money. I did reach to them but they were unresponsive. I could not in all good conscience recommend this tour to anyone.
We were fortunate to have Hannah as our tour guide. We spent about 2 hours walking around the Gothic quarter before going into the Picasso museum. Hannah gave us lots of information and brought many of the highlights of Picasso to life. Hannah also gave us information about other artist in Barcelona that were important. Hannah was extremely easy to be with and with her being an artist, we really felt like we had an even better experience!
Fiorella from with locals was very accommodating after I realized I needed to book the tour earlier in the morning last minute since my husband and I were getting on the cruise ship in the afternoon. She met us promptly in the AM. She showed us around Barcelona where Picasso lived and frequented starting off at the 4Cats cafe. This Was a good tour prior to visiting the Picasso museum. She told us about the museum and the the different eras and paintings in the museum. This made our visit into the museum more meaningful. we enjoyed the tour and Fiorella was great!
We very much enjoyed our walk with Elvira, ending with access to the Picasso museum. We found Elvira to be very engaging, bright and personable; exactly the personal introduction to Barcelona that we were hoping for!
Fiorella our guide was exceptional in how she presented the works of Picasso . We started the tour at the Four Cats and went from there to learn about Picasso and his life. We ended up at the museum with much newly learned understanding of his paintings and the different periods of his painting styles. I felt so knowledgeable walking into the museum and recognizing the various paintings after hearing Fiorella's explanations.
Andrew was great ! Lots of knowledge. If you get him you won’t be disappointed as he took us to a few extra spots not on the tour.
Andrew was very good and the tour was quite interesting walking down the streets and learning about Picaso.
We all met Hannah at the Picasso Museum. We enjoyed a very detailed and informative tour. Her artistic knowledge was incredible and we were all happy with all the insights she gave us about Picasso on our walking tour in Barcelona. Since we had not so much time it was the right decision for us focusing on the arts when visiting Barcelona. We would highly recommend Hannah to anyone visiting Barcelona especially with an interest in art!
Boa passeio e bom guia. Oportunidade de conhecer bairro gotico e historia da cidade. Preferira algo mais para o Picasso ainda assim valeu.
