Sagrada Familia Private Guided Tour With Skip The Line Tickets

10/15/26: When we learned that our Catholic Pilgrimage with Glimmer Tours did NOT include the interior of La Sagrada Família, we decided to take action. Several weeks prior to our visit we booked our 90 minute “Fast Track” interior tour with an English-speaking guide through Expedia. Even then it was difficult finding an available tour because of the popularity of this famed Basilica. We met our exceptional local guide Jose across the street at Julia Travel for our 2PM tour. Jose whisked our small group right through security then gave everyone “Whisper” listening radios to better hear him as we moved through the crowded and noisy interior. Jose walked us throughout the Basilica and clearly explained the significance of the many spectacular decorative features we observed and photographed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Laura & Mark VanValkenburg, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina USA.

This was excellent!!! Our guide was raised in Barcelona and was so knowledgeable about the cathedral. She had photos to share of the construction process and her passion and excitement and insider info really made the tour a complete experience. Highly recommend!

Roger with Julia Travel was truly an amazingly engaging, articulate, and knowledgeable historian/guide. His details and ability to tell the story stood out about one of our favorite European tours only made the Sagrada Familia basilica that much more impressive. Every one of us was blown away with the tour, but also Roger. I would not recommend using anyone only because I doubt there is anyone with his energy, attention to detail, and authentic love for the Sagrada. We love Anna. She was wonderful and full of information. She delivered the information in an exciting and captivating way. I would totally recommend this private tour. The meeting place was close to the church and the walk was very short. Very good for my mother with a bad knee. Anna walked according to our pace and we never felt rush. She was also responsive on Whatsapp.

We had a memorable experience thanks to our guide Ann (I hope I spelled her name correctly). She was so knowledgeable about the construction, design, meaning, and history of this amazing cathedral. She was such a wonderful person, and we feel we were so lucky to have had her as our guide. We highly recommend this service for your tour in Barcelona.

Miguel was an INCREDIBLE guide - he was energetic, his English was perfect and easy to understand (without having to use a headset!), and he is passionate about teaching others about Barcelona and the Sagrada Familia! He even used a whiteboard to illustrate the growth of the city over time, the various scenes on the facade, etc. I cannot say enough good things about Miguel's Sagrada Familia tour!

We had the best day at Sagrada Familia with the tour guide Christina. She brought so much information and experience to get us through the crowds. There is no way that you can learn as much as without a good guide to point things out and explain them in a place as rich in details as this place. Spend the money and enjoy more in this once in a lifetime spot

Booked a 2 hour private tour. The guide disappeared and we waited for a replacement. She was very nice but announced the tour is over after an hour. We contacted Viator but got no relevant response. Can’t understand why I was charged for a two hour private tour and got half of it for the full charge.

Worth every penny, private tour guide brings you inside the facility and explains the architecture and history of this amazing basilica.

Sylvia was a great guide, that was the 5 star! The problem was when we got to the office to meet with our guide, he/she wasn't there, the office had to call the person who never showed up. Luckily, Sylvia stepped in and gave us a great tour! We started 15 minutes late but it wasnt her fault.

We had a great tour with Ana, who gave us an overview of this unique cathedral. We especially liked this tour because you got to skip all the lines, you received an in-depth but not overly long, tour of the cathedral, and our friendly guide, Ana. This is highly recommended! Once the tour is over, you can stay as long as you want. Well worth the money.

This was a great tour - we would thoroughly recommend. When next in Barcelona we'll being going back to this company for more tours. Super helpful, lots of great information and recommendations and above all great fun.

It was a dream come true… wanted to see the Sagrada Familia for 20+ years!!! Our guide was prompt knowledgeable and flexible! We loved every minute!

This is a must see in Barcelona. Julia Travel is right across the street from Sagrada Familia, so we met our private guide there and went on a tour of this most fascinating place. The day we were there, the lines were not too bad, so the "skip-the-line" feature was not essential, but I'm sure there are many times that it is useful. Our guide provided a lot of context and information about the genius that is Gaudi. This is like no place we have experienced in our many travels, and it cannot be described in words but must be seen. We went back on Sunday for mass (as long as you show up about 20 minutes before the mass time they let you in without a ticket; they were more strict about enforcing a dress code when mass was taking place). You can scan a QR code to follow the mass in other languages. The music and atmosphere were amazing so if you are in Barcelona on a Sunday consider attending the service.

Roger was an excellent tour guide, he met us on time at our hotel to take us via metro to the Sagrada Familia. He was very knowledgeable, spoke great English as well. This is a truly amazing sight that everyone should see, there is so much symbology on this thing that you need someone to explain it to you, or else you'd never know how many hidden treasures are built into it. Only negative, price does not seem fair, could have gotten the same exact tour from Roger for 40 euro.

You made sure we were able to get right into the church for our own tour. It was very helpful. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide, Roger, was punctual and very accommodating explaining the Metro system enroute to Sagrada. Once there he took us all the way around the outside pointing out key features, along with historical and ongoing issues with construction (good luck, nearby residents!) He also had photos qnd diagrams showing both the inspiration for Sagrada Familia and how much work is yet to done. If 1 picture is worth a 1000 words we definitely struck paydirt - on our own we would never have dug deep enough to gather such insights. Highly recommended for adults.

It was too expensive. I wouldn't go through Viator again as I don't believe we received the value for the tour. Our guide was quite nice, however. And the people handling things 'on the ground' were very responsive when they realized no tickets were available to enter the Basilica.

Our private tour guide, Manu, may is at our hotel, showed us how to use the Barcelona subway system (VERY clean and safe) and provided a fantastic tour. We saw this amazing cathedral many years ago but never had the detailed information about the many different aspects of the facade. Manu shared a vast amount of background and adjusted fully to our interests and any requests. We skip the line pass provided was a huge time saver for being able to go inside on our own after this outside tour. Perfect for us.

Ramon met my friend and I at our hotel lobby and we proceeded to the metro; which he explained to us in case we were going to take it back. He was so friendly and we discussed several points of interest. At the La Sagrada Familia, this is where Ramon's passion and expertise was apparent!! He explained details and factual information about all four sides of the church - it was so amazing. When we were done our private external tour, my friend and I commented that we didn't even think we really needed to go inside because he described it so well that we fell like we had already seen it !! <p>Our guide got us to Sagrada Familia by subway then did a great job explaining the exterior of Sagrada Familia and what the different architectural details meant. He showed a couple of great spots for taking pictures and some tips on other sites in Barcelona. We were given tickets to skip the entrance line then viewed the interior ourselves.</p>

<p>Our tour guide was fabulous. He knew so much about the Familia and shared all his knowledge with us. He met us at our total and paid for the underground ride from the hotel to the Sagrada where he also took our photos.</p>

He managed some of our quirky schedule needs I don't like traveling on the tram and we needed a bit of breakfast while making sure we arrived at the church timely and heard all of the great details of this amazing building. I would not advise anyone to see this magnificent architecture without the information from a guide as you would miss the significance of everything this building represents. <p>We loved everything about this tour! Our guide was AMAZING! He was super friendly and SO knowledgeable. The only thing we would have done differently is booked a longer tour. After hearing all the amazing things about the outside it was a little sad to go inside and know we missed details because we didn't have the knowledge of a guide. The entire process of booking through Viator was great, everything was confirmed quickly, personalized emails were great, even a picture of our guide was sent in advance.
