It was a great tour, and our guide, Jana, was very knowledgeable and personable. So much history. Such an amazing structure. And an amazing visionary as told by Gaudi.

Departure Point
- PPlease arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour, your guide will be holding a yellow WalksDevour sign. This tour meets outside of "Casa Amatller", directly next door to the famous Gaudí's "Casa Batlló", located at 41 Passeig de Gràcia, 08007 Barcelona.
Itinerary
Meet your guide and small group of travelers on the lively Passeig de Gracia outside Casa Amatller, an excellent example of Catalan modernism and a great introduction to the day's venture into modernist architecture pioneered by Antoni Gaudí.
Your morning starts at Casa Batlló. Those joining the morning tour will enter and go straight to the most iconic rooms. Your guide will show you the tiny details that make this house so fascinating; from breathing ‘gills’ to the clever play of light in the building’s tiles. As Casa Batlló is overwhelmed with crowds by the time the afternoon starts, those on the afternoon tour will stop outside for commentary from their guide and will visit another equally interesting Gaudí house later in the tour to ensure you get the best Gaudi experience for your selected tour time.
Continue along Passeig de Gràcia to Casa Milà, better known as La Pedrera, one of Antoni Gaudí’s most distinctive works and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the outside, discover how its undulating stone façade, wrought-iron balconies and unconventional design challenged ideas of what a residential building could be—and learn why Barcelonans nicknamed it “The Stone Quarry.” Please note: Casa Milà is viewed from the exterior; entry is not included.
If option selected - From there, it’s off to Park Guell. Part fanciful explosion of color, part thoughtful study of organic forms, it is a perfect reflection of the natural world. Since this became a ticketed site a few years ago, entrance lines have become extremely long – so it’s a good thing you have skip-the-line access. If you select the Gaudí Highlights option, Park Guell is not included.
Board a private, air-conditioned minibus for a brief transfer between Park Guell and La Sagrada Familia. If you select the Complete Gaudí Express option, your tour includes a short Metro ride to La Sagrada Familia.
Enjoy a short break to grab a coffee or snack. Although this is not included in the tour, your guide will give you recommendations on where to go. If you select the Complete Gaudí Express option, your tour does not include a short break.
Finally, you’ll end at Gaudí’s most iconic work: the one and only Sagrada Família. You’ll spend a full hour exploring the church itself, then, unlike most tours, you will go down into the museum to see some of the architect's drawings, models, and calculations, plus a clear view of his tomb. Finish at Sagrada Família, Antoni Gaudí’s most iconic masterpiece and Barcelona’s most famous landmark. With pre-reserved entry, spend a full hour on a guided tour inside the basilica, discovering its soaring interiors, extraordinary use of light, intricate symbolism and the story behind Gaudí’s visionary design. Unlike many Sagrada Família tours, your experience continues into the Sagrada Família Museum, where you’ll see drawings, models and calculations that reveal Gaudí’s creative process and the extraordinary engineering behind the basilica. You’ll also have a clear view of Gaudí’s tomb, offering a fascinating final connection to the architect whose work you’ve explored throughout Barcelona.

It is great experience and an opportunity to see Gaudi’s work but to learn about the man and the times he lived in
A bit of walking but nothing too much. The guide Miguel was one of the best guides I’ve ever had in all the tours I’ve taken.
This tour was perfect. We saw so many things as we walked from one tour stop to the next. Our guide, Valentina was wonderful. The depth of her knowledge made this tour so impactful.
Great tour, Jana was outstanding, very energetic and made sure to be very interactive with the entire group!
Our tour with Aida was exceptional. She provided a lot of information in an easy to digest way. All the locations were amazing and visually interesting. The structure of the tour provided time to enjoy the each of the venue and learn of their history. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Barcelona.
This was the best first tour of our Spain vacay! We LOVED our tour guide, (David?). I was so thankful that our travel agent booked this as a private tour. My husband had seen Sagrada Familia from the outside, but had never been inside, and this was a life changing experience. Park Guell was a stand out too! I loved the park. It offered the most vast and beautiful views of Barcelona. I loved all the landscaping. We enjoyed the mode of transportation too from place to place. It was a very hot day and the transportation offered AC and plenty of water bottles. I can't express enough how great our tour guide was. A memorable experience indeed
It was an awesome tour. I leaned so much about Gaudi and appreciate his works so much better now! We loved touring a home, the park and the basilica. I now understand how every little bit of his designs were purposeful!
Miguel was a fantastic tour guide. He had the perfect combination of information and humor. Casa Batllo was amazing and a highlight of the trip. Park Güell was not what I expected and very interesting to walk through and learn about. Of course no visit to Barcelona is complete without a stop at Sagrada Família. Miguel was able to give us a very insightful look at how Gaudi designed the Basilica and the work is still being carried out today. Definitely recommend this tour!
Excellent and informative. Perfect amount of time at each stop on the itinerary. Daniella was a great tour guide very knowledgable and funny!
Great tour guide with lots to see. The Sagrada Família & Gaudi tour are must-see! I would highly recommend this Viatar tour!
Aida our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly while the whole trip was well run and informative. Just the right amount of time.
Our tour guide Anna was very knowledgeable and kept us on track and in front of the crowds. She was very helpful to those who needed extra help.
I would not repeat this experience. Our guide had difficulty managing timing for the group, walking off without elderly members of the tour with mobility issues / disabilities. He left very little time to stop and use restrooms in crowded stops and became noticeably audibly and visually frustrated with group participants for daring to need to do such things as stop and use the restroom or eat. He left the group with 10 minutes to try to use the restroom, find food and eat rather than the promised 30 outside of La Sagrada Familia (which, as you can imagine was incredibly busy). He has the audacity to begin pulling faces when it took our group, including my 5 year old, 15 minutes vs the allotted 10 to do all of this and then turned around and talked in the same spot for 10+ minutes. It was the worst tour experience I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and just go to each of these experiences separately on your own time.
I can’t imagine seeing these sites without a guide. You learn so much about who Gaudi was and how thoughtful he was about his designs and function. So many details were pointed out that would have been missed if doing the self guided tour. Miguel was an excellent tour guide and brought each site to life for us so we could understand the circumstances under which the site was created. Highly recommend this tour.
Unbelievable!!! My guide was so knowledgeable. I got way more than I expected. She managed the group time allowing for pictures, breaks, and questions. The day was amazing!!!
There is a fair amount of walking, so be prepared. Our tour was supposed to start at 3:00 pm, but was rescheduled to 4:00. La Sagrada Familia closed at 7:00. It felt rushed, and the gift shop was closed by the time we finished. I would suggest finding an earlier or longer tour.
Fantastic your, and we definitely advise taking the longer tour that includes Sagrada Família in the afternoon when the light shows best the colors of the stain glass windows on the western side. Anna is an exceptional guide who is passionate about her city and is so knowledgeable on Gaudi and his influence on architecture. We look forward to taking this exact tour again!
Walking tour with Aida was excellent. She really gave excellent information about the entire Gaudi tour about all the monuments, about Gaudi and it was a really nice experience. She was enthusiastic and kept the group engaged.
Maribel was amazing- depth of knowkege exceptional. It is a significant amount of walking and stairs but so worth it.
It was well presented and informative! The only big problem is that the tour was incomplete and missed going to the Park Guell. We were looking forward to going to Park Guell and was disappointed that it did not happened.
Our tour guide, Maria, was great. She took her time to explain everything to us. From the works of Antoni Gaudi to the buildings he created. It was a pleasant afternoon.
Mel, the tour guide was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and thorough about Gaudi & Sagrada Familia! Her enthusiasm and energy kept us engaged and immersed in every aspect.
Great guide Miguel made it a great learning experience!
Valentina was a great tour guide!! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour! Gaudis work was incredible to see!
Super easy tour to follow, our guide Maria was intelligent and funny. It’s really smart to purchase a tour like this because lines are very long for Sagrada Família.
Great tour with knowledgeable guide. Enjoyed the details about Casa Batllo & Park Guell that might not be in the guidebooks.
Daniella was a fantastic guide - friendly, proactive, and super knowledgeable about Gaudi and his work. She was a great communicator and very easy to understand! We thoroughly enjoyed our “Complete Gaudi Tour” with her and highly recommend it!!!
An interesting peek into the world of Guadi. The tour was well organized and the guide was very informative
Informative, no words to describe the experience. The house the park and the church are a must see out of this work.
Our guide was excellent, helped with mobility issues, organized the group so there was no chance to get lost, tailored everything to our needs and provided extra free time for lunch although that wasn’t built in to the tour. He was so knowledgeable & engaged the 2 children so that we all enjoyed them. He made the whole day perfect even though the rain could have dampened our experience. Oliver gets a 10-star review
This was an incredible tour. If you’re at all interested in Gaudi this is the best option in Barcelona. Montserrat was extremely knowledgeable and obviously loves the subject. I felt like we got a complete overview and the chance to see Gaudi’s masterpieces in a really convenient way.
Mel provided a great experience and was very knowledgeable of Gaudi. I was so impressed by his designs and made me more fascinated with him and his creations
Excellent experience! Got right into the all the attractions (it is worth the price to skip the lines). Our guide was Xavier was knowledgeable and kept the tour moving.
The tour was excellent. It was extremely informative showing all the different projects of Gaudi (houses, park, and the Sagrada Familia church). Our guide had an incredible knowledge on Gaudi’s life, projects and history. He made this tour very special. We had done tours of the Sagrada Familia in the past, but this one was definitely the best. It should be noted that the activity requires moderate amount of exercise with at least 4 hours of walking and climbing many stairs in the house and park, but it was worthy. We highly recommend this tour if you want to learn about Gaudi and his art.
Great tour with beautiful sights. There is a lot of walking on city streets, with the locals. The pace of the walking was a bit too slow for me. There was a lot of stop and go walking. It can be hard on the knees and the hip joints. The tour was very informative and Albert, our guide, was exceptional.
Our guide Albert was incredible. He was very knowledgeable about Gaudi as well as other architecture around the area. We learned so much and it was well worth the steps!
Lots and lots of walking. Think twice if taking in June July or August with the heat. Albert was fantastic tour guide. A wealth of knowledge with clear speech. Not enough time at church since we arrived at 6 and closed at 7:15 with 15 minutes on line with security. It takes you to park with lots of steps most without handrails. Gaudi house very good but be prepared for lots of steps but elevator is available.
Miguel was an excellent guide. I enjoyed the tour very much.
Absolutely fantastic day visiting Gaudi’s best! Alicia is amazing!!!! She is so knowledgable - and funny! She made the history, Gaudi’s life and the architecture come to life for us! I highly recommend Alicia and Devour/Walk Tours! Bravo!
Jana was a wonderful guide! She is so friendly and knowledgeable. She did a great job keeping our small group together and making everyone feel included. We had a great time, and learned a lot about Gaudi and Barcelona history.
The tour guide Jana is great. She is very knowledgeable and full of passion. We learned a lot about Gaudi’s life and his projects.
A fantastic way to see the works of Gaudi. Carla was very knowledgeable, be prepared to walk fast to keep up with her. You do a lot in one tour. No regrets, highly recommended.
MJ was a fabulous guide! She gave just the right amount of information and was very friendly and open. This is the way to see these high demand sites with skip the line tickets, a guide who really knows how to navigate, and timely transportation. Wonderful experience!
It was the prefect Gaudi tour. Very well planned and organized, no waiting in lines. Our guide Oliver was the best tour guide we had on our entire trip! He took great care of us and really made the experience enjoyable. Mucho gracias!
Not only were the locations amazing places to visit but Jana was the best tour guide we’ve had and we’ve done many with this being the final day of our 17 day European adventure.
A lot of walking, many steps and you are left at the cathedral to find your own transportation back to your hotel. Very confusing pick up place. Guide doesn’t have any indication on them who they are. No flag, sign hat, jacket etc. We had to ask three different people and be redirected to two different lines.
Oliver the guide was amazing. Nearly 20 years as a guide very knowledgeable and everything Gaudi pertaining to him and the time period what world wide. History major in college live in old town Barcelona. Well worth the money having someone explain the overall history of the man a must do if you want the complete story.
Learned a lot. Guide was very organized and smart. Lovely person
Our guide Alicia was superb! Very knowledgeable and explanatory. The experience closely follows Gaudi’s professional life.
