Obviously, the architecture of La Sagrada Família itself is the greatest highlight of any trip or tour, but our knowledgeable guide was able to add extra context about the biblical inspirations of various details around the building and the influence of various sculptors and architects who aren’t highlighted in the extensive museum. He used a mixture of religious knowledge, cultural context, and supplemental photographs to make make the information compelling and comprehensive. Our group was a full 9 people, which I think was a good size, small enough to ask questions, but big enough to not feel pressured. I don’t remember exactly how long the tour itself was, because my wife and I spent several more hours in the basilica taking pictures and going through the museum. A less obvious highlight to make sure you see is the school that was designed by Gaudí to educate the children of the workers building the basilica. I highly recommend going with people who are curious and have an interest in architecture, religion, humanism, art, or sculpture.

Itinerary
The most visited monument in Spain, and for many people the reason to come to Barcelona at all. Outside: the Nativity and Passion façades, the century that separates them, and the crowned Tower of Jesus Christ above them. Inside: the nave and the light on the western glass. When the guided part ends you are free to stay on as long as you like.

This was an amazing tour. Our tour guide Francisco (I'm sorry I cant spell his actual name but he said we can call him this!) was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating throughout. We were really able to get an in depth look at the Basilica with historical, artistic and architectural perspecitive. With a small group size it was easy to ask any questions we would have wanted to. This was an incredible tour. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the Sagrada Familia.

Great! The guide (Francesc Palacin) was very close by, but contacted us via WhatsApp beforehand to say he would be there shortly. A highly dedicated young man with a great deal of knowledge about the details of the Sagrada. Certainly better than booking directly at the Sagrada; it is cheaper, but we saw that the groups are 2 - 3x as large. Thanks to Francesc for this great experience
