Very knowledgeable guide. While not a Yripadvisor issue, Sagrada audio tour is difficult to take in on site due to crowds and requests to move around quickly from one place to another
With less than 24 hours to spend in Barcelona, the Sagrada Familia and Gaudi Tour was an excellent way to see the city and take in its amazing history. Our tour guide, Juan, was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about teaching us! He even went the extra mile and shared a list of restaurants we could dine in for a truly authentic experience. It's worth noting that once you end the tour at the Sagrada Familia, you will have to find your own way back to your next destination. (That's clearly noted in the experience guide, but worth pointing out again!)
This was a personal, small group tour through the heart of Barcelona and tickets into the Sagrada Familia. Our tour guide, Juan, was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing the history of Barcelona. With less than one day to spend in the city, we're glad we chose this experience!
Paolo was an outstanding guide, full of historical and contextual information on the growth of Barcelona. He was charming, attentive, knowledgeable and engaging. He provided a wonderful introduction to Barcelona and Catalonia.
My wife and I always take private tours, . This way you get up close and personal attention. Our guide Victoria, whom I cannot say enough wonderful things about . Met us on time at the meeting point and began one of our most memorable tours . She has extensive knowledge of the history and all the surroundings of our tour. Her awesome personality and style was such a pleasure to be with. I highly recommend the personal touch.
Juan was an excellent guide providing great information throughout eh Gothic Quarter. The guide at the Sagrada Famila was difficult to hear and spent much to long on details and providing information. We had to leave the tour early due to its length and later start (10:00 AM versus the 9:30 reservation time.
Juan was an excellent tour guide. We did get a little tired by the end of the tour
Our tour of the city of Barcelona and sagrada Familia was great. Unknown to us we would have two separate guided tours, one for thecity and one for the sagrada Familia. City tour was expensive and full of interesting. Interesting facts regarding history, arts and architecture. Our guide for sagrada Familia was extremely knowledgeable in the symbolism and details of the cathedral
Patricia and Esther were both excellent. Knowledgeable and fun!!!
We have such an amazing experience with our tour guide Andres Reyes, we never had a guide the went above and beyond. We learned so much about the culture of Barcelona. He’s the best. Thank you Andres.
Best for physically active tourists. Guide went a little fast for a 75 year old.
you have to come to Barcelona this beautiful city and history and culture and every place you go people very friendly
Andrea was excellent. Obviously very knowledgeable, interested and spoke excellent English. Highly recommended!
Excellent guides, properly prepared and very friendly. Walking through the city was very nice and discovered lots of nice stories. The Sagrada Familia is fantastic and our guide gave us lots of information and curiosity about the place and Gaudi's visions.
Very nice tour with great historical information. Our guide Shari did a wonderful job with nice explanations and details.
Our guide Simon was excellent. We had a great time seeing Barcelona and learning about the city’s history and its architecture over the few hours. I highly recommend this tour.
My daughter and I booked this tour during our stay in Barcelona. Our guide, Horacio, was fantastic! It was booked as a small group tour, but ended up being just the two of us. We started off the tour in El Raval on La Rambla. We went through the Gothic Quarter and up through Eixample. We then took the Metro to La Sagrada Família. I had been to Barcelona before and had taken this type of tour. I couldn’t believe how much better this one was. Horacio was so informative, pleasant and funny. I learned so much more this time. We covered a lot of ground, so be sure to wear good walking shoes. I recommend this tour wholeheartedly. If you are lucky enough to get Horacio as your guide-even better!
We met our guide in La Rambla and walked through a number of the most significant Gaudi contributions to Barcelona. Our guide, Stephanie, we knowledgable of both Gaudi and the history of Barcelona and a joy to spend time with. The walking tour was about three hours and we stopped at Els Quatre Cats for a coffee (and cava) to learn a bit more about the history of this gathering place for artists during the Catalan Modernisme period. Our tour included tickets to basilica Familia Sagrada with fast pass access.
Milena was a fantastic tour guide! She was knowledgeable, super friendly and fun and we thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour. The tour itself was absolutely stunning, character around every corner. Milena had such vast knowledge we could ask her anything, she kept our attention for the full 4 hours. We could not have asked for a better guide or in a better city. Thank you Milena and we highly recommend this tour!
Had a great morning/afternoon with our guide John Burns, very informative and fun!
Alan was amazing and even waited for me when I could not find the meetingbpoint. A very informative and interesting your. Recommended to do if in Barcelona.

Great tour! Our guide Horacio was awesome!
Nico was very informative with the architecture and history regarding Barcelona. He was polite, friendly, and very communicative. We learned alot and had a great experience with him.
Our tour guide was extremely nice , courteous . We learned so much of the city’s history . Definitely recommend him to everyone .
Alberto was a great tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and took his time sharing information about the various architecture styles and important buildings/churches in Barcelona. We loved it!
Patricia was an excellent tour guide and truly made our experience in Spain special. She spoke fluently in both languages, which made everything easy to understand and very enjoyable. She was incredibly accommodating, took wonderful photos for us, and shared lots of interesting fun facts that made the tour even more engaging. Patricia was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel relaxed and fun. We really appreciated her attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile. We would absolutely recommend Patricia to anyone looking for a fantastic guide in Spain!
Sagrada Família should be a “must” on your tour list. The Walking Tour wasn’t what I expected it to be. I wanted to spend more time at some places.
This was a great tour and very informative. We learned a lot during the tour and we had a great tour guide Simon.
Fabulous must do tour - our guide Jenny was lovely and very knowledgeable. Unlike some other tour operators, she went out of her way to accommodate the group as we were running late. Jenny made sure a fellow elderly lady and couple with young child were able to make their next tour. Muchas gracias Jenny 🤗
The very best tour guide experience and a spectacular sites to see - in my 73 years. Thank you: Ruth; TripAdvisor and Liv Tours!!!
John was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable about Gaudi and his architecture throughout Barcelona. He pointed out small details throughout the city that brought Barcelona to life and made great recommendations for local cuisine.
My family and I are in Barcelona for 4 full days and the Sagrada Familia is a must! This Antoni Gaudi inspired tour was a great introduction to is creativity and talented architectural ingenuity. Our private guide Marco was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city of Barcelona and the buildings we visited. The short coffee break was well timed riding the metro a few stops, I felt like a local which I like! Finally we come up from the train to the magnificent view of the Sagrada Familia in all its grandure and glory. This tour was the perfect start to our family vacation. I would highly recommend! Thanks Marco! 🙏🏻
Juan was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we could be included in his group. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and clearly well-versed in what he does. Thank you so much, Juan—you truly saved the day! We really appreciate you! ❤️
John was a great, fun, and knowledgeable guide. The tour was well paced, and full of interesting historical background information.
Both guides were accommodating to my mobility problems. Although I must say this is an extremely long tour for people with mobility problems.
Milena was a wonderful guide and so nice. She took her time and explained many interesting details about Gaudi’s work and that of his contemporaries. There is a lot of walking but was not rushed at all. We enjoyed our time in the Familia Sagrada immensely. Tip: Download the official guide app of the basilica ahead of your tour so you don’t have to before entering.
Our guide, Alan, was very personable and informative. He showed us the highlights of the city in a short time but we did not feel rushed.
Wonderful day of tours with Milena and Ester. Very knowledgeable and we learned so much today.
It was an amazing experience Highly recommend it Jennifer was awesome Full of information She took great care of us
Paulo was an awesome guide. There is a fair amount of walking but it is gentle and the historical walking tour was incredible. 100% recommend.
Sharon was a fun and excellent guide. Well informed and knowledgeable with other visual aides to help us understand more thoroughly.
Jennifer was an incredibly knowledgeable and affable guide. We enjoyed spending many hours with her and learning the "City that Gaudi Built". She never made the experience feel rushed. It was like walking through a city with a friend. Her timing was amazing, as we managed to beat the bigger tours/navigate around them before it felt crowded at a spot. Would highly recommend this experience with Jennifer. It was seamless and fun.
Wonderful private tour with final access to Sagrada Familia. Walkaround tour to view some of Gaudi's other designs.
Our tour guide Victoria was absolutely great. Very knowledgeable and, for a family that only knows english, a very good communicator even in a second language. The tour itself was 3 hours BEFORE we got the Sagrada Familia and then another 90 minutes from there, so the estimated time of 3 hours is just the first part of the tour. But, as someone who really enjoys history and how designs have changed over the years, hearing not only about Gaudi but his contemporaries gave a great experience overall.
Wonderful tour. The guide was very friendly&knowledgeable. Showed us all the great places to see. The market was a great place to try new foods. Highly recommend
Alan was fabulous. Great tour. Very knowledgeable. Lots of suggestions for food and tours. Would highly recommend
Juan was very knowledgable and really gave us a personalized tour. He was very conversational and ensured we were happy! The walking tour was long but didn't feel that way because of how engaging Juan was and the stops we made. Sophia was our guide for the other portion of the tour that was inside the Sagrada Familia. She was also very knowledgable and engaging. She shared fun facts and details that really elevated the experience. I would definitely recommend to anyone! Be prepare for a lot of walking! I went in August with my Mom and it was definitely hot, Juan made sure we had water and stay as cool as possible. Sophia made the entry to the Sagrada Familia very easy; it was crowded but still easy to navigate and stay with the group.
Simón was a great tour guide! Knew so much about the life (& death) of Gaudi! I learned so much! ¡Gracias Simón! Kris & Tony
