Itinerary
Start the day on foot with your guide in the old town of Barcelona. The narrow lanes of the Gothic Quarter follow the layout of the Roman town and lead to some of the city’s most beautiful medieval corners.
Walk along La Rambla, Barcelona’s most famous boulevard, which runs from Plaça de Catalunya down to the old port.
Pass by the "La Boqueria", the city’s best-known food market, before turning back into the narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter.
Pass by the Barceloneta, once the home of fishermen, people associated with the fishing trade and the metal industry, and nowadays one of the city's most visited and popular districts. The neighbourhood, with its narrow, rectilinear streets, was built on a military grid structure to provide accommodation for the former inhabitants of La Ribera who had lost their homes due to the construction of the Citadel Park.
Hidden in a small courtyard, four Roman columns over 2,000 years old still stand on the highest point of the ancient town of Barcino. It’s one of the old town’s best-kept secrets.
Admire the façade of the cathedral, begun in the 13th century and completed only in the late 19th century, whose styles mix Gothic and neo-Gothic.
Discover one of the quietest squares in the old town. The marks on the church walls are a moving reminder of the bombing of 1938, during the Spanish Civil War.
Back in the minivan, head up Montjuïc, the hill that once defended the city and later hosted the 1929 International Exhibition and the 1992 Olympic Games. From the top, enjoy wide views over the port and the whole of Barcelona.
On the way to the Sagrada Familia, ride up Passeig de Gràcia, the elegant avenue lined with the finest modernist buildings in the city.
See the colourful façade of Casa Batlló, with its balconies shaped like masks and its rooftop inspired by the back of a dragon.
Pass by La Pedrera, Gaudí’s wave-like stone building, crowned by rooftop chimneys that look like medieval warriors.
The life project of a genius or a fool, with no doubts the Sagrada Familia will leave a lifelong impression. Experience a moment full of emotion, admiring Gaudi's masterpiece, considered as the most emblematic landmark of Barcelona. There are no words to describe the feeling one gets when entering this magnificent temple of Modernism. The organic shapes found throughout its structure, the light filtering through its stained glass windows and the symbolic nature of the building’s sculpted façade will certainly be the highlight of your tour.

Great personality knows the City and excellent choice of places to visit Very good guide
Our guide was from The very start pleasant and knowledgeable. He greeted us on time and was a wealth of knowledge. Great overview of major areas of Barcelona
Great tour! Alejandro was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable. You must see the inside of the Sagrada Familia, just incredible.
Joris was our tour guide & he did a fabulous job showing us all the highlights of the area. The pickup & drop from our hotel made for an easy tour of sites we wanted to see without our having to navigate the city on our own.
Our guide met us at our hotel and our small group tour was presented in English and Portuguese. Terrific route to give us the history of the city, then a literal overview from the hilltop of the Olympic village, concluding with the spectacular Sagrada Família. Thank you to Vincent for being our guide!
Guide explanation is good, but the biggest concern is we are not able to visit all the places mentioned in itenary.few places are pass by from car which are very difficult to get the view of the place. We at least should get the option to view the place from outside not from the car .
Daniela did an excellent job! We did a walking tour of the market at Las Ramblas and then Old Town. Lots of history and beautiful buildings. Daniela is very knowledgeable and personable! After the walking tour we toured other parts of Barcelona including a lovely overlook of the whole city and harbor. Then we went to Sagrada Família! It was incredible! Truly awe inspiring! It was also very nice to get picked up and dropped off at our hotel. A wonderful day!
It was a wonderful family experience. We were able to book a last minute entry to Sagrada de Familia plus a very informative walking tour along Gothic Quarter and the Roman history. Thanks to our tour guide Vincent-a very jolly, kind and friendly tour guide. Special thanks also to our driver, Joaquin for keeping us safe and comfortable along the way!
Our tour guide Anatoli was amazing. He gave a very insightful look into the city, it's history, and some of its lesser known sights. Would recommend.
Our guide, Anatoli, was very knowledgeable and did a great job.
Outstanding guide and experience
Baggio was the best tour guide of the city. He also looked out for any type of danger such as pickpockets especially at La Sagrada Família. He has a charming personality. I will recommend him to my friends who are visiting in several months. Awesome tour!
Tour guide Pablo Borlandelli was terrific! He shared old historical changes about Barcelona and the Sagrada Família. He had historical pictures to share with the small group of 8. Extremely informative and provided a grand commentary.
After Sagrada Família’s website was sold out, we found Tiqets which made us aware of In Out Tours. I’m a big believer that everything happens for a reason and this could not be more true than today. In Out Tours sent us the most amazing guide, Gaspar. He fetched us from our hotel and showed us parts of Barcelona we would not have naturally gone ourselves. He was extremely friendly, great sense of humour, and nothing was to big of an ask. He gave us plenty of time to explore Sagrada Família, and highlighted fine details which would have been missed without him. At the end of the tour, on our way back to our hotel we asked for a dinner recommendation, to which did he not only refer us to what was arguably the best meal I had in Barcelona, but he also offered to take us straight to the restaurant. It was also well priced and we were never asked to mention his name, so it was truly his preference and not a kickback recommendation. I can highly recommend In Out Tours, and will go on any tour being led by Gaspar in the future again, no questions asked. Thank You Gaspar for a memorable time.
We had a wonderful time. Pablo was wonderful, he knew his history, was a great conversationalist. Would strongly recommend him. Thank you for a wonderful day!
Vincent and Joaquín were wonderful! They arrived early, were attentive to every detail, and made sure everyone had what they needed. Vincent was exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging, answered all our questions, and made the experience even more enjoyable. Our driver was so kind and drove us safely—we all felt completely at ease. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them!
We had a wonderful experience on the Sagrada Familia & Barcelona Small Group Tour! Our small group of four made the experience feel very personal and engaging. Our tour guide, Adrian, who was incredibly knowledgeable , informative, and friendly. My husband has hip issues and walks at a slower pace, and Adrian was so patient, thoughtful, and accommodating every step of the way. He made sure we never felt rushed and could fully enjoy the sights. The convenient hotel pickup was a huge plus as well. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Barcelona.
We had a pleasant time with Alejandro. He was very knowledgeable having lived in Barcelona his whole life. He was also very considerate.
Tour did not specify how much walking their was. 15725 steps is a lot.
Miguel was very professional, caring and humorous which made our trip really enjoyable and unforgettable.Highly recommended tour!
Vicente was a knowledgeable guide. The was deluxe with a super driver Joaquin! Small group of six, very private tour. We recommend!
Miguel was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about all this sites., and explained everything very carefully. would highly recommend him for any of your tours for your family. Thank you.
We got into the Sagrada Family due to this tour, as we failed to by tickets in advance. Nevertheless, the tour itself was worth it: our guide Vincent made the afternoon pleasant and offered a great value to our booking. He is knowledgeable, warm and friendly, and made sure that all three families in the tour felt comfortable. His English is fluent. I highly recommend this tour, with the cherry on top which is Sagrada. Before the Basilica we visited the Gothic old town, and after that we took a tour of Montjuic. A special mention to the skilled driver, Joaquin.
A professional tour guide mixing the right level of Information, personality, and fun! Would highly recommend Miguel (uncle Mike) to anyone coming to the Barcelona area.

Great Guide and good times. Comfortable around the city with a lot of fun facts. You won’t be disappointed with Baggio
Gaspar did a great job in showing us the highlights of Barcelona. He was patient with me as I walk with a cane. The vehicle had a problem so he took us to a safe attraction and was back in 30 minutes with a different vehicle and we were on our way again. He was professional and would recommend this tour.

A very interesting and enjoyable tour around some of the lesser known places ending with the spectacular Segrada. Would highly recommend Ramon
Loved the trip. We booked at the last moment, with Sagrada being the primary focus. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the overall trip. Baggio, our guide, showed us around, with lot of energy and enthusiasm. It was a truly immersive experience and we can’t thank him enough.
Adrian was fantastic as a guide. Very knowledgeable about the history of Barcelona and the area and the Segrada Familia. We had plenty of time for photos and to see the sites included
Adrian was an amazing guide. He was actually early for the pickup which was fine with us. The car was very comfortable. He was very knowledgeable about the sites including La Segrada Familia, Gothic quarter, Barcelona etc. we had plenty of time to explore the areas and he gave several suggestions as to things to do during our stay
This was a wonderful way to experience the sights and history of the area. Our guide, Alex, had the knowledge of this area to make this tour come alive. His humorous personality just added to the fun! He found a wonderful place for lunch that clearly defined the cuisine of the local community. He was very courteous and helpful and I highly recommend this tour.
Anatoli was very easy to understand and interactive with our group. Very knowledgeable and adventurous. A very good summary of all the sites we were hoping to see. With Anatoli it included fun interaction and real life protest! He was wonderful.
An enjoyable morning tour, which was affected a bit by possible demonstrations, so we had to change the usual route. Lots of interesting information. The best bit was Sagrada Familia, so glad we had the booked time to go in and definitely worth the ticket price. It was good that we had the option to stay longer as well.
