Private Barcelona Graffiti Workshop With A Street Artist

Absolutely recommend this amazing graffiti workshop! Yasmina, our artist and guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. She introduced us to the world of street art, shared fascinating stories about different artists, explained various spraying techniques, and gave us a crash course in using spray cans. The best part? Getting to create our own graffiti right on the street, surrounded by incredible street art! Such a fun, unique, and unforgettable experience. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip and absolutely worth every penny! Highly recommend!

We did our tour on a Sunday morning and Luke was an excellent guide, very easy going but also knows the street art to an extremely high level. He kept it fun, informative and engaging throughout for me, my wife and teenage sons. We finished with a studio tour with an artist named Ashwan. Not only is Ashwan a great artist but he is also very engaging and accommodating and made us all feel at ease and not at all rushed. I highly recommend this company and tour!

Kat is wonderful host with a great understanding of the city and what makes it tick. The tour took us places we were unlikely to discover and each location had some wonderful and interesting pieces to look at and discuss. Extremely reasonable price wise too for a couple of hours of someone's time. Finished off at a couple of galleries tucked away to peruse. No hard sell. No obligations. The activity was so much fun. Katherine is our guide and she is knowledgeable and passionate about the painting and city. We did it at noon but with lots of shadow and breeze, vey chill. For a foreigner as well as a zero experience of street painting, she really help us to really enjoy this morning with lots of satisfaction. Thanks you Kat!

This activity was the highlight of our trip. We loved that it was a hands-on experience creating street art. Juan was very informative as we made our brief walk to the art park. We learned about several murals in the city, and about the history of graffiti in general. He is a true artist and not just someone they hire to teach a few skills. He helped us bring a real piece of work to the streets of Barcelona! I highly recommend this trip if you love to create. My two teen boys (15, 16) truly had a great time. I loved that we weren’t standing in line with all the other tourists-it felt special/unique-like we had discovered a secret way to enjoy the city more like a local! This is a “doing” activity not a demonstration! If you love art, you will love this tour!

Had a great time with my teenage daughter taking part in a private street art tour of the streets of BCN, finishing off with a graffiti session on an impressive wall at the Tres Chimeneas. Our guide Juan was super cool! Great activity for those looking for a bit of original and creative fun.

A fabulous tour around the old town of Barcelona, exploring art galleries, street art and architecture along the way. Luke was a great tour guide with lots of info and made us feel really welcome. Would highly recommended this to any art lovers.

This was both magical, fun and super cool for the whole family. Beeing able to do street art with one of the foremost street art artists was a blast! The teenagers in the family loved the grafitti workshop and ending up with an awsome grafitti art piece was super! Thank you so much for the laughs, knowledge and a splendid time for us all. This is a must do in Barcelona to feel it’s heart beat and actually BE a part of the city. We thought we would enjoy ourselves and learn a bit about street art and perhaps dabble a bit. We had no idea we would appreciate it the way we now do and actually create a piece of street art we were proud of. It was such a fun morning, the time went by so fast. There was so much passion, thought and consideration into making this a great experience for us, we are so grateful. It was a magical experience and a highlight in Barcelona. THANK YOU.

Luke is a great guide and he showed us the Barcelona streetart scene with a lot of passion and knowledge. He showed us both the differences in styles and areas, and it were cool to visit a communal garden and end with galleries showing some of the artists commercial work. Not to mention the fun of some of the artists dropping by. We will check-in one one of Luke’s tours next time in Barcelona.

We had an excellent experience exploring the street art of Barcelona off the beaten tourist path (including a private garden and a skate park). Katrina is incredibly knowledgeable, and we learned so much about the history and culture of street art (and got so many incredible photos). This was a wonderful experience. This experience was an excellent way to become familiar with several neighborhoods in Barcelona, and gain an understanding of street art culture. Katrina’s familiarity with the street artists was conveyed through detailed storytelling, and we were fortunate enough to meet some of the artists at galleries along the way. As an added bonus, I met several other solo female travelers who signed up. It was a unique experience, and I highly recommend it.

Definitely the best tour I have ever been on. Katrina is so knowledgable and passionate about street art, which really made the tour a great experience. As someone fairly new to the street art scene, I really learned a lot! The fact that you get to meet the gallery owners and artists during the tour really makes the tour complete and impressive. This is something everyone should do on their Barcelona trip! I would put it way above all of the typical sites like Sagrada Familia etc.

It was the brilliant tour I've ever been to. When going to heritage cities like Barcelona, people often like looking at the past and not being interested in current cultural life of places. We are very keen on learning both about iconic historical attratctions and today's culture. Not only we learnt loads of the the most exciting stuff about Barcelona's urban art, it was a real treat to visit galleries Kat is friends with (and they are the coolest galleries!). We've seen artists at work, met gallery owners and she explained very well how the industry works now. Next time we are in Barcelona, we'll definitely book her other tours on modern art and Picasso and Dali. I would even come back to Barcelona specially for Kat's tours!

So glad I did this tour, and I couldn't have asked for a better guide! Katrina drew us into the street artists' world. She presented everything in such an interesting way and was so knowledgable and passionate about the art she showed us and the artists who created it (many of whom she knows, works with and counts as friends). The gallery visits were fabulous and added a whole other dimension to what we'd seen in the streets. And the app she, her street artist friends and her co workers have created is fabulous! At the time of writing this review it's only a month old and I can't wait for more artists to be on board!

Our guide was fab and knowledgeable and our 18 & 20 y/o kids loved the hip art and stories. Nice alternative to classic art stops, nice refreshment stop.

Kat guided us to various art galleries and street at around Barcelona. She's a lot of detailed information about art pieces, artists and artistic movements of Barcelona. A must-do.

I was so lucky to be part of a group attending the Barcelona Art Tour on my recent trip. Our host was fantastic! Personable, knowledgeable and just a lovely person. She made everyone feel safe and included. I learned so much about the history of art in Barcelona and about Barcelona in general. The mix between gallery art and urban art appealed to everyone in our group.

We loved Katrina’s street art tour of Barcelona! We learned about local and international artists that have many signature pieces throughout the streets and alleys of the city. After the tour, we were able to follow artists on Instagram and recognize new pieces by the same artists as we explored the city. The tour also included visits to local art spots, and chats with gallerists. Katrina is not only knowledgeable about art but also the art business—a unique combination!

Getting to explore the contemporary art scene with Katrina was great. She was incredibly friendly and showed us a side of Barcelona that we would have never discovered on our own while visiting. It was great to be guided through the streets of El Born and El Gotic to learn about the different street artists of Barcelona. Katrina was very knowledgeable and was very patient while we also paused to take photos of the city’s architecture. She even hooked us up with a visit to the Roman Columns as none of us had been there! Thank you so much. This tour is highly recommended!

Last week we did an art tour with Kat and it was a great way to get to know an old part of the city a little bit better. Kat is a very sweet guide with a lot of knowledge of the street art in Barcelona, but she also has knowledge of ancient buildings, cool restaurants and bars and she gives you a lot of information. We visited some cute little galleries and there we also got a lot of information about the (street) artists. Great experience and very highly recommended!!
