Itinerary
The Arch of Triumph. Built as the entrance to the 1888 World's Fair, this arch gives plenty of great photo opportunities.
After the Arch, we will cycle through the always green Parc de la Ciutadella. Here we'll see a fantastic fountain and the queen of the park- The mammoth of Ciutadella.
This medieval neighbourhood is a must. We will see medieval ruins that have been discovered underneath an old market, the 14th century basilica- Santa Maria del Mar and the old street Passeig del Born.
After a cycle and passing by Port Olympic, we'll stroll on our bikes past the beach. This whole area had been transformed beautifully for the Olympics in 1992, in our tour we'll see how to this day that change was a big success.
from the beach we'll continue through a patch of the beach neighbourhood Barceloneta, from there we'll cycle through the old Port.
Another monument built for the olimpica in 1992. This art piece was created by Roy Lichenstein and is a must for some photos.
This Roman/Gothic neighbourhood has many sites to see. We'll pass by Basilica La Merce, the majestic Plaza Real and through Plaza Jaume. The neighbourhood itself is a relic and it's shaded streets make for a great cycle.
Before leaving the Gothic neighbourhood we'll pass by the Cathedral. This old cathedral with its neo-gothic facade is a must see in Barcelona.
After cycling through Plaza Catalunya, we'll go through Passeig de Gracia, or as it's known as, The Golden Mile. This famous street is'nt just known for it's shopping, but also it's famous modernista houses. Here we'll see the Gaudi houses Casa Batllo, and casa Pedrera, as well as some gems from other architects from the same period of architecture for which Barcelona is so famous.
Next we'll continue to the most famous part of Barcelona, Gaudi's Sagrada familia. This amazing creation was started in 1882 and the construction is still ongoing. With it's beautiful facades and amazing sculptures, we'll look at each side of this basilica.

Paul was an excellent guide. So friendly and knowledgeable. We chose to go on standard bikes at a comfortable speed and we saw a lot of areas in the city including the beautiful waterfront. We loved the gorgeous park that was a setting for the World's Fair. We went through the 1992 Olympic Village. We really enjoyed Paul and would easily recommend biking through the beautiful city of Barcelona where the crowds are thinner. It was a perfect morning choosing to do this biking your!
On arrival bike was ready and waiting. After some introductions and safety advice off we went. The tour was at a good pace and good information was given at the “stops” Guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Certainly saw parts of the city that I would not have on foot. Enjoyed!!
Paul's bike tour was the perfect first activity when we arrived in Barcelona. He asked us what we wanted from the tour and took us on a city overview ride to so many of the sights. From Sagrada Familia to the oldest sections of the walls, Paul included both history and day to day life in Barcelona. As we rode he also pointed out other places we should explore. Barcelona is a very bike-friendly city with bike lanes everywhere complete with separate bike signals. Paul made us feel very comfortable riding in a new city and carefully obeyed all the bike traffic rules. His bikes were in excellent condition.
Great morning. Engaging info. V comfy bikes. And a super way to see a different side of the city. Well recommended. Thank you Paul!
Paul was a great guide. We enjoyed the tour a lot. Saw the highlights in the centre while riding comfortable bikes.
Really good way of seeing the city. Paul the guide was very affable and answered all my questions with in depth knowledge. I would recommend this tour on your first day as it is a great way to find your bearings and all the major landmarks of the city. Much easier than walking in the heat of the day.
Paul was personable and interesting!! He loves the city and we learned things we wouldn’t have just walking around. The biking was easy, just the biking lanes and lights were confusing but you get the hang of it. He supplied water and an apple for a mid morning snack. He was charming and friendly!!!
Great tour around Barcelona. Highlights everything. Fun tour guide w lots of knowledge. So nice not to have to walk everywhere.
Paul our guide was very knowledgeable of area. He kept us informed and gave us detailed information of main attractions. Great bike tour! Thank you Paul.
Paul has a great knowledge of the city combined with a superb Irish wit!! He took his time showing us the main tourist area but also parts of the city that we would never have visited otherwise. The churros and empanadas combined with a lovely refreshing drink was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend Trebol Bike tours
We had the best day of our vacation on this tour! It was amazing! We saw lots of beautiful places and hidden gems we would of missed if we had not been on it. It was an amazing day that really made our trip to Barcelona special. I highly recommend anybody visiting Barcelona to do this tour ! Thanks again Paul 🙂
Paul is a very personable and experienced tour guide. We learned lots about the history of the city and really enjoyed his sense of humour. The snacks and juice were amazing. Great day out and a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend!
Was an excellent afternoon, Paul was very informative and had plenty of good local knowledge, the whole tour was great fun! We received some great tips on various restaurants (and bars) around the city! And can't argue with the empanadas en route! Would highly recommend this bike tour if you're in Barcelona!
I took this tour and enjoyed it a lot. I got to see a lot of the stories, and Paul told the history and some stories. The snacks along the way were delicous. 100% recommend.
