The meeting point will be at the Fossar de les Moreres. From there, we will head towards the Picasso Museum on a nice and short walk. Although the Picasso Museum was initially housed in a single building, the “Palau Aguilar”, it was extended over the years. It is currently made up of five different palaces, built between the 13th and 14th Centuries. Once inside the Picasso Museum we will learn about his artistic evolution, from his youth to his death, discovering also his period in Barcelona between 1895 and 1904. Did you know the Picasso Museum was the first and only museum created during the artist’s lifetime? It is the perfect place to discover all the details of the artist’s life and career. Appreciate his artistic evolution through the collection of more than 3.500 works and the most complete in the world of works from his youth. At the end of the guided tour, you can stay inside the museum for as long as you like, to admire all the works at your own pace.
We looked and looked but could not find the meeting place. We need to be reimbursed. We did our first tour this morning and had no problem. We have many more coming up but this one was to hard to find the meeting place.
We had booked a tour on September 18, 2026 in our carefully planned schedule. I was informed shortly before our visit that the tour would be changed to the 19th, the next day. This conflicted with another tour so we were unable to participate. We were unable to reschedule at this last minute. Pick a more reliable tour company! We did go to the museum without a tour guide. There is an audio guide included with admission, so we felt fulfilled.
Olg E is an excellent guide. Her explanation is very detailed and clear. She used good examples to illustrate her points. Her approach is inviting which allowed each member to involve in the tour. She is equally helpful and made arrangements for my late wife. Strongly recommend.

This was such a comprehensive and amazing tour of the Picasso museum. Olga E was our guide and she had so much energy and knowledge of the artwork and if Picasso’s life and artistic periods. I would highly recommend this tour!!! So inspiring. Having a great guide makes such a difference in touring museums. So much more interesting and attention grabbing than pre-recorded tours.
Our tour guide never showed up. I paid for a very high-end tour with an experienced guide of the Picasso Museum. We were at the meeting place where I was informed to connect with my guide 15 minutes early. I use the app to text them to alert them that we had arrived. When she didn’t show up and the tour time had come and gone, I called the phone number that I’ve been given. The person seemed confused, took a while to sort things out and then informed us that someone would be meeting us in 45 minutes. We said we would like to cancel the tour as that would be leaving an hour later than we had planned. I then received a call 15 minutes later from someone at Viator who told me that I had gone to the wrong place. I explained that I went to the destination that was in my reservation and in the Viator app. They told me that they would not honor my request for a refund.

What a fabulously interesting place to visit. Our group was only 4, which made it very personal. Our guide knew so much of the history of Picasso and could explain anything that was asked of him. You could walk around it on your own, but so much better with a guide who can explain it all to you

Unlike Parc Guell and La Sagrada Familia, we had not booked in advance for the Picasso Mueum, but I was glad we had the time to visit. I learned a great deal, particularly about Picasso's earlier work and how his style developed. The exhibition about Catalan artists in Paris was also worth a visit.

We did the Picasso Museum tour with Olga, and honestly? She was great. Super knowledgeable, super friendly, and with just the right touch of fun to keep things engaging. Sure, the tour moved at a pretty brisk pace, but it still gave us a solid and surprisingly rich overview of Picasso’s different life phases. Each section of the museum reflected a specific period in his journey, and thanks to Olga’s insights, it all came together in a way that made sense and stuck with us. A fast-paced but fascinating dive into the mind of a genius.
Beautiful museum right in the city center area. Lots of exhibits and a variety of things to look at - sculptures, paintings, prints, etc. It's slightly confusing to navigate but the workers are helpful.
