My husband and I did a bike tour with Lili. She was very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour of Barcelona. Would highly recommend!

Itinerary
Inside this former 19th-century market, you can see the preserved ruins of an entire 18th-century neighborhood destroyed after the 1714 siege. From the elevated walkway, we view original streets and houses while explaining what happened in 1714 and how it changed Barcelona’s history. We found an old part of our history underneath this beautiful market.
This is the place where the Universal Exposition of 1888 took place. Later, the park where Picasso and his family used to enjoy.
The building was originally constructed in the 18th century as part of a military arsenal within the Bourbon citadel built after 1714. Over time, it was transformed and today houses the Catalan Parliament, where regional laws are debated and approved. During the bike tour, we explain how this space evolved from a symbol of military control into the democratic institution that represents Catalonia today — a powerful example of how Barcelona has transformed its history.
This grand fountain was designed in the late 19th century, with early collaboration from a young Antoni Gaudí. Inspired by classical triumphal arches, it features dramatic sculptures, golden details, and a monumental waterfall that makes it one of the highlights of the park. During the bike tour, we take a short break here to enjoy the setting, explain its connection to Gaudí’s early career, and give guests time for photos in one of Barcelona’s most beautiful green spaces.
Whiles riding in one of our most beautiful parks in the city, we will be able to have a glimpse of the majestic Arc de Triomf.
This part of the sea front was completely transformed for the summer Olympic Games of 1992. Here we will have the chance to discover what those games meant for the city of Barcelona.
During the bike tour, we ride along Barcelona’s beautiful beachfront, enjoying a relaxed and scenic stretch by the Mediterranean. We pass wide cycle lanes with open sea views, local beach life, and iconic spots along the coast. It’s one of the most refreshing parts of the route — flat, easy, and perfect for soaking in the atmosphere while riding comfortably by the water.
At the end of the coastal stretch, we reach the breakwater next to the iconic W Barcelona. Here, right by the edge of the sea, you get one of the most open and striking views of the Barcelona skyline — with the Mediterranean on one side and the city stretching behind you. It’s a calm and spacious spot, perfect to pause, feel the sea breeze, take photos, and enjoy a unique perspective of the city before continuing the bike tour back toward the historic center.
We also pass by El Cap de Barcelona, a striking pop-art sculpture by Roy Lichtenstein located near Port Vell. This colorful mosaic face combines bold lines and bright ceramic tiles, blending modern art with the Mediterranean light. Inspired by comic-style aesthetics, it represents the playful and creative spirit of Barcelona. It’s a fun and unexpected stop during the bike tour — perfect for photos and a quick explanation of how contemporary art became part of the city’s seafront identity.
Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar, or as the people of Barcelona know it: La Catedral del Mar (the Sea Cathedral). This emblematic Gothic Basilica in the Born Area, was build by the people of this same neighborhood to protect us from the sea.
We will take you in a maze of little streets, where during medieval times all the craftsmen and women used to have their workshops. Now a days, this essence is still very present along these streets. You will be able to find here hand-made clothes, jewelry, etc.

Great experience, agatha was so fantastic ! So informative, cared about our safety at all times and taught us a lot. Fantastic
Absolutely one of the highlights of our mother/son trip to Barcelona! I highly recommend this tour with Rory for anyone who loves recreational bike riding, fresh air, history and all out FUN! Rory was easy to follow as the leader of our bike tour. He provided exceptional, interesting details of many beautiful monuments, parks and seaside gems of Barcelona! He kept us safe and out of traffic which I think puts him in the category of magician as well! Many thanks to Rory and Barcelona eBikes. Highly recommend this one as a bucket list "to do" in Barcelona!
Fun and engaging way to see the sites of Barcelona through our guide, Jairo’s eyes! It was very informative and well planned cycling tour through the highlights of Barcelona.
Aliex was a great tour guide. Engaging and funny. The tour was fun, and mostly on bike lanes. Great pit stop at the beach. Decent bikes as well.
It was a great experience. The bikes were so easy to ride and the guide was great.
This was my top experience in Barcelona. I ended up getting a solo tour as a large group did not want to split up. My guide customized the tour for me, showed me the most amazing parts of the city, and shared historical perspectives throughout. The e-bike was easy to use and the whole trip was comfortable! My guide was ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and introduced us in a fresh and passionate way to the history of the neighbourhoods we biked through, while making bridges to Picasso's life and art... we strongly recommend this tour!
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly! Would definitely recommend! It was nice to learn the history of Catalonia!
Awesome Experience I've done many of these tours in the past, and they never get old, especially because each guide has a different perspective and how they present it to the group.
Alleix was awesome. He was super knowledgeable about the city of Barcelona. Highly recommend a tour here if you’re looking to see the best views of the city.
This tour was fantastic! Such a nice introduction to Ciutat Vella and the neighborhoods surrounding the city center. Lily was an absolutely fantastic guide, so friendly and knowledgeable. And the eBikes made for a more enjoyable ride because we could focus more on the sights and less on the pedaling 😊😁
Our 3rd Electric Bike Tour in Barcelona but 1st with this company. Had a great time yesterday with Julio. Particularly liked his sand drawing explaining the location of various places in Barcelona! We visited several sites and learnt some of his personal favourite places to visit which we had never been to before. Thanks Julio for the great memories. X
This ebikes was our second tour. Rome was our first and by far the best. This tour was not worth the money. Go rent a bike and ride around the city yourself. Our guides English was ok. Maybe it was a lisp or something but she was hard to understand. Other guides during our visit were much more enjoyable. And the children on our tour were frustrating to ride together. I had to keep watching for them to stop or cut in front of me. So much I couldn’t enjoy my ride or even look around much while riding. Very frustrating.
Was expecting a bit more of an art based tour considering the description instead we learnt about past history of the Olympic Games and the up coming America’s cup etc. nice ride along the foreshore with explanations about how it came to be. Was pretty short was unable to get true bearings of the the city which was purpose for taking the tour along with immersing in Barcelona’s extensive art history .
Highly recommend this activity. The e-bikes are great and make it easy to get from location to location... It was really fun. Our guide Lili was excellent and interesting, she provided great restaurants recommendationa too. My favorite activity in barcelona!
I enjoyed this trip very much … the guide was very informative and I like the bike ride as well … it was the first time riding an e-bike … and it took a little getting used to versus the manual bike … but its not difficult … met some great people on the trip too … the information on Picasso and the visit to where he grew up and how it influenced his art was enlightening great job … thank you !
We booked this tour hoping to hear about Picasso but he wasn’t mentioned once. You are left to adjust the bikes to your height yourself which wasn’t easy unless you’re very strong. Then I had a puncture on the way back but the guide had no equipment to fix it so we just had to struggle back. No apology, no acknowledgement, just Bye! It was pleasant enough despite not being what I’d hoped for but probably aimed at teens and those in their 20’s
This was the highlight of our trip! Julia is the most fun, passionate, informative guide you will have. The ebikes worked great for my husband and me and we had some special needs. I am less than 5 feet tall and husband has had multiple knee surgeries. I messaged ahead and requested a kid-sized bike. They had special bikes for both of us. Given some time to test drive, it worked out great.
Very enjoyable with great local knowledge would recommend to anyone looking for a local bike tour with the family.
Shared our tour with another family and had such an amazing time! Kubi provided us with a fantastic experience with interesting stops, great information and fantastic details! Would highly recommend this tour.
The meeting location for this activity was challenging to find. We finally were able to locate it using Google maps (it's "hidden" in the Born neighborhood) BUT when you find it and go on the activity, it's VERY worth it! A fun and unique way to see the city. First experience on an eBike (but won't be the last). Was sometime a bit of a obstacle course (avoiding people and vehicles that appear out of nowhere) but lots of fun!
We had a great tour which was well paced. Our tour guide, originally from Poland, was knowledgeable and pleasant. My wife and I enjoyed our time discovering new areas of Barcelona.
Our tour guide Lily is amazing and the way she described the history on Barcelona was the key highlight. Very calm, patient and helpful. She gives you all the time to absorb the beauty and history on the tour, with all the time you need to click as many pictures as you can take. The spots chosen are perfect and you dont feel any rush. She has amazing recommendations on things to do in Barcelona. Look for Lily. It worth every penny spent. Best of luck to the team.
A must go tour if you're in Barcelona! Julia is the greatest guide you'll meet, very passionate, engaging, and knowledgeable about the city, and gives perspective to every place we pass by with the historic context she provides. The ebikes are reliable and Julia gave us time to familiarize with them before starting the tour. My last day in barcelona in a 3 day work trip, hadn't visited anywhere and was looking for the best way to explore the city and I'm glad I found this. Recommend to everyone.
What a wonderful way to see Barcelona! The tour was a gift to us from friends and it was perfect. The bikes were great and Agata was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!
We took this tour at our first day in Barcelona, and it was definitely a great way to get to know the city. Also, Neil, our guide was super friendly and informative.
Nil was our guide. He was excellent. Explained the history Barcelona and made the ride very pleasant and informative. Highly recommended!
The trip was fantastic. I highly recommend it. Agata made an adjustment to the itinerary to specifically include something I wanted to see as well as something another guest wanted to see. We saw a lot of touristy spots as well as spots locals go. It was very informative and riding the E-bikes was fun.
Our family of four did the the Ebike tour. All thoroughly enjoyed and discovered a lot about Barcelona. The guide was very helpful. Would recommend.
Agatha was an excellent guide. She was very nice, funny, and very informative about all the places at which we stopped. We went all around Barcelona thanks to being on bikes. This was a great way to see numerous sections of the city. Bike tours are so much better than walking tours because you can cover a lot more ground.... not to mention the ebike helping you peddle is an added bonus. I HIGHLY recommend this tour. My wife, two friends, and I had a great time.
I recently visited Barcelona on my first solo trip and signed up for the eBike tour following Picasso's footsteps through the city. It turned out that I was the only person on the tour, so I got a ton of 1:1 time with Agata, my amazing tour guide. She also was gracious enough to allow me to switch the day of my scheduled tour at the last minute due to other scheduling issues, which was extremely appreciated! The tour was very interesting, seeing many different neighborhoods in Barcelona and hearing about the history behind all of them as we rode through. The eBike itself was really fun to ride also! Following our tour, Agata and I went back to the start where she sat down with me and wrote down more recommendations of things to do and places to see on my trip. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Agata was a very knowledgeable, attentive and accommodating tour guide. Thanks for such a great experience!
Absolutely wonderful! Our guide Federico was PERFECT! Kind, patient, knowledgable, friendly and funny! He showed us the best areas of Barcelona, told us about the history of Barcelona and current situation, gave us great tips for sightseeing and dining in the city. He made an excellent job to make the tour interesting and fun also suitable for my 14-year old daughter. Bikes were in great condition and reservations and set up was all amazing.
Even though the tour is well planned, sights are not far from the grid and the bikes are pretty easy to get accustomed to, the guide you get is what makes the tour and our group was so lucky to have Nil. Always alert for the group’s safety, he managed to take awesome pics (turns out he’s a professional photographer as well) whilst also speaking 4 languages with the multiethnic group. Even though it was winter, we had great weather, no rain and this awesome sunset by Barceloneta Beach.
Our tour of Barcelona with Fede was truly the highlight of our 4 day trip to Barcelona. It was fun, wildly informative and allowed us to explore parts of Barcelona we would not have explored otherwise. Fede took his time with us, never rushed us and was always ready and eager to answer our questions. We ended the tour at 4 Gats, which I cannot speak highly enough of. The tapas and wine were delicious and they were even able to accommodate my dietary restrictions (I have gluten and dairy allergies). I cannot recommend this tour, and Fede, enough! Thank you Fede and EBikes Barcelona for the best day of our vacation!
Well-paced bike tour. In particular, I enjoyed going to places further from the old city centre (where one tends to spend most time walking round).
We recently went on our first ebike experience in Barcelona and had the most amazing time. Our guides were so friendly and personable. They even gave us advice on places to visit while in Barcelona. The tour itself was amazing as they gave you history about the sites we were visiting. We loved everything about it and highly recommend this tour if you are in Barcelona!
Myself and my sister took this tour on our penultimate day in Barcelona. I was a little nervous as I’m not the best bike rider but it was very easy, and we were well looked after by the team! The information was extremely engaging and we saw the most beautiful sunset at the beach. I only wish we were able to do more of their tours on offer because it was a great way to explore the city. Thanks for a great experience xxx
Had a lovely time on this tour with Nil. He was knowledgeable and attentive to the groups needs. Tapas and wine were superb!
Genial and informative guide, Frederico, organized a well timed ebike expedition through historic Barcelona made even better with his personal comments about living in the city.
My husband and I were excited to tour the city "like a local" on a bicycle, with the safety of a tour guide! This tour definitely did not disappoint!! Our guide, Neil, was amazing! We biked our way through the city following Picasso's footsteps. Neil was full of historical knowledge about the city itself, and gave us great insight to the life of Picasso in Barcelona. Throughout the tour, Neil kept our safety his first priority, especially while having to cross through busy intersections and ride through crowded streets. We signed up for the extra tapas and wine tasting at the end of the tour, and that was an experience in itself! Neil took us to an establishment where Picasso would frequent. The restaurant was beautiful and has stood the test of time. It was almost as if we time traveled! We started with a glass of cava, and then were brought traditional Spanish tapas as well as our choice of white or red wine. Neil sat with us and explained the history of the establishment, while also explaining all of the different types of tapas the waiters brought to our table. Towards the end of the tasting, he even took his time and gave us recommendations for other things to do/see for the rest of our time in Barcelona! I would 100% recommend this tour to everyone visiting the city. I was definitely an experience my husband and I will remember for the rest of our lives!
We are a family of four with a 13 year old and 10 year old. The e-bike tour was a fabulous way to see so much of Barcelona and learn about the history of this beautiful city. Our guide was wonderful and paid special attention to our ten year old. We all had such fun (and all want an eBike now!). Highly recommended. We also loved the wine and tapas at 4cats and would recommend adding that to your tour. Thankyou!!!
This is a great tour of the gothic quarter and Barceloneta. Our guide, Jules, kept a great pace and made sure everyone was kept together. He was able to offer some suggestions for restaurants, bars, and museums. Would definitely recommend.
We enjoyed as a team a sight seeing and cultural tour (Picasso) led by our tour guide Agata. It was both insightful and joyful. Our tourist guide was very nice and knew a lot about Barcelona culture and connected well with the groups. She led us in a safeway thru Barcelona and was very friendly and spontaneous. She interacted well with everyone and we enjoyed a great experience during 2 hrs.
I did this tour a year ago when I came to Barcelona on a solo trip. It was amazing then and it's still the BEST way to see and learn about Barcelona. This year I'm back with my Mom and I kept telling her, "Mom we MUST do the Barcelona eBikes tour!". She was hesitant about riding. She hadn't rode a bike in maybe 30+ years. Our tour guide was the best! He was so patient with her and made her feel like a champ the whole way through. The tour itself is the best! You learn so much about Barcelona's history and make so many stops. You will have time for photo ops. Our guide did not rush us. He let us take our time to get the pics we wanted. I highly recommend this tour for anyone traveling to Barcelona for the 1st time.
We thoroughly enjoyed our riding tour with Agata who made us feel completely comfortable riding around the back streets of Barcelona. We visited places I would never have known existed as well as learnt about the influence of the city on Picasso’s work. I highly recommend this tour!
Had a great tour with Barcelona Ebikes! It was the second time I've done a tour with them, and both times were awesome! Jules was an excellent tour guide. He was very nice, and very knowledgable about Barcelona. Definitely ride with Jules!!!
We loved this tour. Our guide was amazing. The ebikes were a lot of fun and came in handy. The tour info focused on how Picasso saw Barcelona but all of the other history and city information was even better. This is a jam packed tour and we learned a ton.
We are not usually into tours. Good thing we decided to try something new! Brilliant experience. The bikes were great. Easy to ride and with a good electric boost that can be easily adjusted. The tour was thoughtful, informative, and fun. Our guide was superb. He was from Buenos Aires, had moved to Barcelona to study, and “fell in love with the city and never left”. His enthusiasm was contagious and he clearly cared tremendously about giving us a great experience. He even sat with us after the tour to write down a few places we had passed, and a few other recommendations. Great staff can make an experience really positive and this is a fine example. Thanks for such kind hospitality. We recommend.
Federico shared his love for his city with us and this was a very informative tour. Only a couple minor issues with pedestrians and other bikes/scooters (it's summer-there are a lot of people everywhere), but this had nothing to do with the tour guide. it was a safe route, and Federico made sure we were always OK.
