Park Guell Private Guided Tour With A Five Stars Tour Guide

Our guide did not show up. We arrived more than 30 minutes ahead of time. We tried texting and phoning. Nothing. A tour guide standing around from another company said this company no longer exists in Barcelona. We're will be contacting Viatar for a refund.

Didn’t show. No communication. Quite clearly a scam operation so thought people should be warned. Avoid!

Patrick was a very proffesional a super nice guide. It was very intersting experience.

Park Güell is a wonderful family experience with lots of interesting spaces to explore. Very pretty with many “engineering marvels” thanks to the designer and architect, Anto ió Gaudi. You can take a separate tour of his museum, as well.

Enjoyed learning about the man and his mission. Great tour guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Got some wonderful pictures and can’t wait to return to Barcelona some day.

This park is huge park and you can spend 3 hours easily walking through the whole park. You need to be prepared to walk up stairs and inclines. I booked tickets through TripAdvisor for just the entry the same day after the original booking I had with a tour guide was cancelled the day of the tour. I had an issue with getting the tickets for your group. If buying just entry tickets I recommend buying at the park and not through TripAdvisor or Viator. They have QR codes at entrance to buy your tickets, The park is clean and since you need a ticket very safe. There are other buildings in the park you need to buy a separate tickets for and can do it there. The walkways are well maintained. There was a restroom at the entrance that was not very clean. There are several exits , I believe 9, so you may have to walk to get back to the mail entrance if you want a taxis or meeting point is there. We walked a couple blocks and picked up a taxi to our hotel. Plan at least 2 hours. We visited Sagrada Familia prior and had spent half a day walking prior to entering the park. We were exhausted Definitely a must see when in Barcelona

Great experience our guide was very knowledgeable and answered questions. Gave directions on how to explore the park.

This tour was OK. The guide spoke a little too fast and was quite difficult to understand. His enthusiasm for Gaudi was enjoyable but otherwise I didn’t feel like I learned anything. Also, it only lasted 40 minutes and I expected more.

We received text and email At 1:30 am informing us that our 9:30 am tour was canceled and offered us 10 am tour option, but without instructions. Tour operator was non-responsive to texts and emails and calls asking for details. Upon arrival, we met 2 helpers and the tour guide who told us that 2 other families didn’t show up so we’d receive a “private tour.” Upon entry to the park, the tour guide said it would be a 30 min tour (?!!!), a far cry from the website description of approximately 1 hr 15 mins. Tour guide seemed knowledgeable about the park’s history and Gaudi’s style and design concepts but seemingly needed to be prompted to share more detail as she was mindful of the time. The tour ended after 1 hour and we parted ways to explore the park ourselves.

Fascinating to see - but even better with a guide. Understanding some of Gaudi’s traits, intentions and ideas really helped us see what this project was really all about. The guide was excellent and clearly very passionate about the place. Only downside was that we thought it was a 45min tour and turned out to be less than 30mins.

What a magical and beautiful place! Gaudi was beyond creative! The grounds were gorgeous and only issue was the day we toured was about 92 degrees!!! Can't change the weather, but it made for a draining day in the heat.

The woman who gave us the tour was knowledgeable about the park and a lot of related stories around it. It was well organized too.

Park Guell make it so difficult to buy tickets. So we were very happy when the Luxury Travel rep came to the rescue. Easy to buy tickets, cheaper than the park advertised ones, and they included an excellent short tour. Very impressed.

Excellent construct and excellent and knowledgeable tour guide. It was great to see Gaudi’s craftsmanship and even greater to hear a little about the man himself.

We really enjoyed the tour but our time was changed our time slot on the day . The guide was excellent and she was very informative.

Park Guel is beautiful and Maria Teresa was a fantastic guide for us! Super informative and patient with us as we navigated the park with our baby in a stroller. Just a note for parents - I thought there would be too many stairs in the park and it would be very difficult for us with a stroller, but it was quite manageable with myself and my husband.

We really appreciated the woman who led our tour. She was a professor and had deep knowledge of Gaudi and the park. She was easy to understand and made the experience much richer

Amazing experience. The guided tour was far more interesting than the audio and felt more personalized. “Mother Thersa” was the best! :-)

My wife and I were visiting Barcelona for one day, so we had a small window to pick some major attractions, and this was one that we wanted to see. Unfortunately, our driver dropped us off at the wrong entrance, and because his English was poor, he didn’t understand that we needed him to drop us off elsewhere. As a result, we had to walk quite a bit and missed the tour time we booked. We were understandably upset about it, especially because you basically can’t get in without a tour group, as tickets sell out early when you purchase at the door. We thought we would miss the opportunity to see the property, but when we found a Luxury Travel attendant and told him what had happened, he was very nice about it and called his boss to see if they could fit us in with the next group. They did! We both enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide was Miguel, and he did a wonderful job describing the property’s history and the genius behind Gaudi’s whimsical architecture.

Patrick was a most impressive guide so very detailed and interesting. Even listening in to other groups we passed and their guides - Patrick was clearly a significant cut above the rest. Highly highly recommend.

Barbara is an amazing guide, I usually get bored with guided tours, but she made it interesting and refreshing, even under Barcelona’s sun

The failure of one company is the success of another. We were originally scheduled with Amigo tours through Go City and that was a failure. Julio and his tour company happened to try to help us find our tour guide and when this was unsuccessful he offered us to join his tour group, he charged us a fair price and we accepted. This was the best decision that day. Julio was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in taking group photos for the entire group. We got to visit Park Guell on a day of recognition, the city was protesting against tourism. They did not take away from our experience and Julio enhanced our belief that there are still good people and companies that care. Thank you.

Although a little hot in the Park today, our guide did her best to always find us the shade while she discussed the history of the park. She was very knowledgeable and provided the insight needed to understand the ins and outs of the park. The tour also allowed for self exploration after the guided tour. We had a great time!!

This place is beautiful with an amazing history. Our guide, Jordi, was fabulous and this was the second day in a row that we got lucky enough to have him!

Went on a tour with Patrick, he was great! lots of knowledge of the place and history, as well as good recommendations for other sights and places to visit in the city

Easy booking with staff at gate, effective earphone to hear the live guide showing us the features and telling us the history, took lots of photos, recommended

Really enjoyed our tour and the tour guide. Just the right length of time. Plenty of sun and shade, and a really great way to start out Gaudi journey. The park is gorgeous and my kids loved it and the learning.

The tour was great our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommend!!!! The general admission tickets to park Güell were sold out. We were able to join the tour last minute. The park is extremely detailed and having a guide dramatically improved the experience

We had an excellent tour guide who was well-versed with the park. Group size was just about right. Plenty of time to explore afterwards if desired.

A must do.Lena(our guide) was very nice and she explained everithing in details. Going to the meeting point was a little difficult

We were so fortunate to have an excellent tour guide...Alba (maybe Alpa?). She was so knowledgeable about Gaudi and the history. She was so kind to also take photos of my family. She showed us all the interesting parts of the park. This is a must see and worth to pay a little extra for this guided tour to understand the history and significance of the architecture.

Best to take a cab to the meet up location. We took the Metro and walked, much more difficult locating the spot.

No fault of operator but we ended up at the wrong entrance. What was the fault of the operator though is they weren’t available by phone or chat to see if we could explore other options—they were closed on a Monday and not available until the next day. Lastly though I tried and tried to retrieve our tickets, the viator app kept opening to a black screen and we could never retrieve our actual tickets. A total fail and loss of 58€.

The entire park was truly an unforgettable sight, Gaudi's architecture, the style is impressive. We entered the park without any problems, we had the most wonderful guide, an expert in her field, she explained everything so well. The whole family is satisfied. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide, Patrick , was amazing , and gave us an extremely informative and memorable tour of Park Guell. I highly recommend this experience. The landscapes , views and architecture are breathtaking.

We didn't stay with the guide for more than a few minutes as we had only booked the tour with a guide as there were no individual tours left. We all enjoyed the park and I was very impressed by the Gaudi houses.

The guide was wonderful. Miguel was funny and friendly and told us a lot about Park Guell. We really enjoyed it! Would recommend wholeheartedly!

The park is a great place to visit. But Luxury travels operators were very rude and difficult to communicate with. Look for another operator!

Barbara was an excellent tour guide and had a wealth of knowledge about Gaudí and Park Guell. In fact I had many questions that I had been curious about and she graciously gave me tons more detailed information and answered all my questions. She was a charming and super well-informed guide. We simply would not have been able to understand or appreciate a visit to the park in the same way had we gone on our own. Highly recommended!

The park experience was awesome. So beautiful and the tour guide was great. We did not have a good experience w the man who checked us in. He apparently did not like where we were from as he was not helpful and walked away from us in a mean way when we tried asking him questions.

Excellent experience and highly recommend. The park is beautiful without a guide however there are so many details I would have missed without a tour guide.
