Buyer beware! They will leave you if you are one minute late and not offer you a refund and charge you double the price to reschedule! Poor communication period! And they are hard to find, don’t answer their phone, and aren’t in the office during the hours of operation posted. Very unprofessional!

Itinerary
Begin your experience with a panoramic bus tour of Barcelona's most iconic sights. Enjoy the elegant Passeig de Gràcia, where you'll see two of Gaudí's modernist gems: La Pedrera and Casa Batlló. Continue with a strategic stop at the MNAC Viewpoint and Montjuïc Castle as you explore the 1992 Olympic area. Enjoy the views from the Montjuïc Cable Car.
We will do different stops on Montjuic, which was the Olympic Area in 1992. At the first stop, we will access the Montjuic Cable Car, from where we will have breathtaking views of Barcelona. We will pass by Montjuic Castle, from where we will be able to take a trip to the past and discover part of the history of the city. We will make a last stop in Montjuic, in this case at the MNAC viewpoint, from where we will have a different perspective of Barcelona.
It’s time to return to the office, but first, we will pass though Paseo de Gracia, one of the most important streets in Barcelona, and where two of Antoni Gaudí’s most important works are located: La Pedrera & La Casa Batlló.
Check in back again at our office in Estació del Nord before the starting time of the afternoon activity. Meet your guide and come aboard an air-conditioned coach to Montserrat. After a 1h drive on the highway, board the cogwheel train up the mountain and enjoy the amazing views. Admire the Mountain’s peculiar morphology, which comes from the Catalan words Mont (mountain) and Serrat (serrated). World-famous for its rocky geography, Montserrat beautiful scenery was declared National Park in 1987 to protect its natural and cultural wealth. Learn about the history and architectural style of the Monastery. Fall in love with the Gothic and Renaissance details of the basilica and sanctuary. Learn about the legend of the miraculous apparition of the Madonna and Child in the cave of Santa Cova. To this day, their woodcarving is kept in the Church of the monastery, which you will be able to visit. The figure is popularly known as La Moreneta (Black Madonna) as a result of a varnish reaction.

Very confuseing at pick up point what to do and not to go. The bus was not very good as sevaral was not good. Only reclimimg position so it was a problem fro several guest. Guide at Montserrat was very confusing and we only get the half info. The day before we use Amigo travel to Andorra and it was perfect
Cooperators spoke in English and Spanish for the preferred all English difficult to hear at times and accent was very heavy
We were booked for the Girona tour and we didn't know it was cancelled. The ladies as mentioned in several reviews in Get Your Guide are extremely rude. Always saying they don't know ask someone else. A small girl w blonde hair was shouting and being intensely rude. After being rude to me, she started talking badly about me to her colleague in Spanish thinking I didn't understand. When I told her I understood, she said she didnt care. She even called a security to threaten me. I have read several reviews about these ladies in Get Your Guide and I watched them shouting at several customers. She didn't stop until her colleagues told her to. Never apologized after. However, our tour guides Valeria and her colleague were great. The tour was very organised. We learned a lot from her and enjoyed seeing Montserrat.
The views were amazing. I took a lot of photos, we enjoyed the picturesque landscape. I would like to thank Sarah, our guide and Jordi, our driver. They were very lovely. I learned a lot from Sarah about the history of Montserrat. We enjoyed the train going up. I love the little present from Sara after the tour. I would highly recommend Julia travels.
Get ready for a LONG day, but worth every minute and penny. Montserrat is one of of the most beautiful and historic locations in Spain. Guides are top-notch in every aspect.
Two reasons for our poor review. One…they included both English and Spanish speaking customers thus everything needed to be said in both English and Spanish. This lead to delays and then being rushed though parts of the tour. Two…the technology used for speaking to us was poor. The mic’s sued to speak to us cut out or varied in volume often.
Really enjoyed however the guide had to do the tour in both Spanish and English - this was hard on her and made the tour move slower than it should have therefore we were really rushed
The destination is great. We had a lot of traffic so there were problems. Then on our return someone just moved our stuff and took our seat. The guide would not get involved so we ended up splitting up. Was very frustrating
Tour guide Anna was excellent! she explained. the high lights of Barcelona and at the same time made sure we are protected
Two tours, two fantastic and enjoyable guides. The trip to MontJuic was fabulous, Sara was so pleasant and knowledgeable while we walked and toured around Barcelona. The trip to MontSerrat with Sandra was fantastic. Sandra was amazing with the travel details and all the people with special needs. She was fun to be with as well as very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this destination
More time at Montserrat to be given to visitors. Map handout of the place would be useful. A shrine to visit before Sagrada Familia
Montserrat was very beautiful and the trip to Montjuic. Walking tour was long but interesting. Our guide Caroline was very knowledgeable
Such a massing trip to walk around Barcelona for the day and see all the architecture and different styles then see Olympic park and the view and to end it at such a religious place was amazing
I scheduled this trip after being here for a week. I regret not doing it sooner. Hugo did an amazing job telling us the history of every street we walked down, making sure to tell us where it was in relation to the Romans, and medieval times. I had no clue I was steps away from so much for so long, and I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner. The highlight tour was 5 hours and ended at 1, exactly like he said. We didn't have to rush to get to our Montserrat tour at 2, which was very nice. Our Montserrat tour guide, Sasha, was excellent. He kept us entertained, informed, and making sure we understood the significance of the monastery as a whole. This package, especially the monastery, was the absolute best part of my trip. And everyone I talk to is going to hear about my awesome guides and the amazing sights.
it was nice to get out and see Barcelona from a resident's perspective. Our guide was very nice and worked well with speaking several languages.
The local guides were very good. We did a SpaIn tour that started in Barcelona. Julia Travel is a joke. Airport p.u. in Barcelona was fine. Had a good hotel picked by J travel. Barcelona tour was 8 am the next morning. We had to go to the office to meet the bus. No one knew where it was. Finally found a cab driver that knew. So paid cab fare. Breakfast at hotel included. Couldn't get it because breakfast started at 730. Tour across town at 8. Before tour started confirmed with office that we had a 9 am pick up for Sun. We had Julia provided train tkts for 1 pm to Madrid. Went on a 5 hour tour. Back at Julia office the employee told me she still wasn't sure the person scheduling never called her back That was the first 24 hours. Every day was something else
Great tour! Our tour guide was amazing! I highly recommend it. The views are stunning. I love that we had a two hour break in between the highlight tour and Montserrat to go grab lunch. The day was perfect. No complaints at all.
Going up to Monserrat and the beauty of the rock formations. We also enjoyed Mount Juic although there was a lot of walking and very hilly.
I would definitely recommend taking the tour of Monserrat. These mountains are amazingly different from any I’ve ever seen. Once at the top, of course the views are amazing.
We enjoyed the overview of Barcelona which included a walking tour. Very Lovely. The Monserrat portion was extremely rushed. Directions were not very clear at times. Shops closed at 6 pm or just before. Recommend giving more time
I hope I don't run out of space. I wish I could give him more stars because he totally deserves it. First, the walking part in the morning with Eduardo was better than FANTASTIC! He gave me so much information like about the flags, St. George, Santa Eulalia, all about Monjuric Casle and so much more. I, as well as many others, had no idea about Valentine's day. Even how Holy week begins. When I mentioned what I learned about picasso people were amazed. I enjoyed the tour soooooo much. When I went on the second part and on a different tour the next day I already knew somethings because we talked about everything. You definitely have to take it and with Eduardo if possible. He even gave me information on other things to do on my visit. Then Gabby in the afternoon was terrific. I enjoyed montserrat mountain. I learned a lot then also, but the view was incredible. So was the view in the morning. And let's not forget the exceptionally great customer service in the morning! What an all around great group of people. Thank you for being a part of and helping to make my visit be a reason to come back.
Our tour guide was Christine, and she was awesome. She gave the tour in English and Spanish, which was nice since my wife and I speak English and understand most Spanish. Our tour started with a walking tour of the gothic quarter, which is very quaint, and full of history. On the way to Castel Montjuic (a fort/castle near the ocean) via bus, Christine gave us a tour thorough Barcelona and pointed out the history of Barcelona. So much to look at, it was hard to take it all in. We took a cable car gondola to see stunning views of the city. We then visited the castle, the dungeons, and Christine explained the history of it all. We were very impressed with our tour guide and Barcelona in general, and highly recommend this tour!
This has been my own experience that they made me miss my visit to montserrat as their staff are not trained and dont take their job seriously. Stay away from them.
Julia Travel seem to be going to few changes. their travel agency seems to be very unorganized. we did not get what we were told during our tour.
Excellent tour. Tour guide was awesome and driver was excellent. I definitely recommend this tour!!!
They are horrible here in Spain. Even the locals agree. The staff lacks proper training and they will make you miss your trip. Please go with another travel agency for this tour. Dont get tricked by five stars from other comments. They are absolutely careless and do not value your time. They will make you miss your tour because staff dont know themselves when to report.l for the tours especially one in the afternoon.
This tour begins with a walking tour of the Gothic Architecture near the Plaza de Catalunya - notably the Barcelona Cathedral. From the plaza, you board a bus that tours throughout the city to a fort that sits atop the city. The views are spectacular. The tour ends with a site of the Olympic stadiums and the museum. Aaron was an excellent guide with extensive knowledge of the history and charms of the city. You won’t regret the opportunity to experience the highlights of Barcelona with him leading the pack.
This was wonderful. Montserrat is not to be missed! The only problem was that this is actually 2 different tours put together so you have to go to the office twice at different times. They should combine it!
The morning tour guide was lovely.. very informative and Friendly.. we waited about 30 min For the bus when we finished the walking tour. Would have been nice to stop at a few more site instead of driving by them. 2 hour break in between morning tour and afternoon was way too long
Aaron was an excellent guide. We had him for both the AM and PM tour. Easy to understand and excellent knowledge. Fast paced, but not feeling rushed. Well organized.
We were inside the office of Julia Travel in Barcelona. There were lots of CCTV in the office. The security guard was not around. My husband sat and put his backpack down. A man inquired from my husband regarding a tour and my husband directed him to the desk where he can ask. But instead of going to the desk, he walked fast going out. We then noticed that my husband’s backpack was gone. We asked the manager in Julia Travel if he can help us since there was a lot of CCTV inside the office but he refused. The security guard came but was of no help at all. He just stared at my husband when he started narrating what happened. We were warned regarding pickpockets and thieves in Barcelona but we never realize that this can happen even inside JULIA TRAVEL OFFICE IN BARCELONA despite CCTVs inside the office. It was not a good day for us.
We only had a limited time to spend in Barcelona and enjoyed this tour - a good way for us to see part of the city that we might not have found on our own. We toured on a a Sunday when many places are closed and people might want to take that into account when scheduling. Aaron, our tour guide, knew the area and was also also very helpful with restaurant recommendations.
Arron our guide was professional. Excellent tour. Loved the sites . the organization was great. Recommend to everyone.no hassels.
We were only able to do the first half of the tour. We enjoyed a brisk walking guided tour and then boarded a bus that drove past the Olympic village and then on to ontjuic. This allowed us to look over the city up in the mountain affording beautiful views. These tours require a LOT of walking. Even though we did not make the second half of tour, it was money well spent. I will book with Viator again. We saved tremendously compared to purchasing from cruiseline.
Our tour in the morning was fantastic. Very interesting history of Barcelona explained, and our tour guide was fantastic! We ended the day visiting a fort that overlooked the city of Barcelona and it was quite magnificent. In the afternoon, our tour guide was excellent, and this review is in no means a reflection of her service. Checking in during the afternoon was extremely hectic and people were cutting in front of us to get to the counter first. The tour was a full busload of people and bilingual. We wasted a lot of time from what I thought was an English tour with our guide translating back and forth. There was also a problem with the whisper devices which took a long time to resolve. At the end of our brief tour at the Monastery, we could not find food anywhere more than an ice cream or an old sandwich. All of the restaurants were closed and not serving real food. We were told we would be able to eat there. In the morning, one of the guides was running late, and our tour guide did a wonderful job trying to relieve this stress. Still, it took away time that he would have spent with us and not translating back and forth. If you would like a more personal experience, I suggest choosing a different tour group.
Great tour, guides were good and made the experience enjoyable. Would recommend her be this as s great way to spend your day.
Nice tour and enjoy with the profesional guide make us Happy. Well organisation. Great combo tour for the sightseeing monseratt and hightlight Barcelona.
This tour was worth the cost. Although it was a long day it was a very pleasant one. Would recommend it.
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Narella and David, with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start! Narella and David was extremely good, very flexible, very adorable and for that they deserves a special thanks. We had two great tours. All respect for Narella and David who does a great job; a true samples of excellent tour guides! Many thanks again and I recommend this tour for everyone!
This was a fabulous overview of the city with just the right balance of walking and bus time. The cable car ride was an added bonus. Great views of the city up close and at a distance.
Was ok, guide would not wait and very impatient. Cable car was a 15 minute one way ride. nothing great. This tour didn't even allow you to go into Montjuic. Thought would have been a lot better. I would not do again would go see this site on my own.
Because we also did hop on hop off, the first half of tour was uneventful and a waste of our time. The stop at the Spanish Village was not needed and you get maybe 10 minutes at Montjuic. But...do not miss Montserrat. Incredible! I would just do it with another combo.
HI, I got Maria Carmen as my Guide ... she explain all the journey detail ... she is very strong and energetic person ... i love the tour ...
This trip was so beautiful. Fantastic view and excellent tour guide. Thanks Viator for this unforgettable experience.
Well what can i say but amazing. The tour is very interesting as you pass by the most known parts of Barcelona. As youre on the bus you can't really take pictures as the bus doesnt stop but you can still have a feel of Barcelona. Cable car to Montjuic amazing and its a most. Our tour guide Cecília was amazing always making sure that we were ok and giving alot of info on Barcelonas history. Spanish Village beautiful would recommend it. Montserrat breathtaking views also alot of history a few things to do and see while you're there. Would definitely recommend this tour if you're in Barcelona for a short visit. Thank you Cecilia Thank you Barcelona
Our tour guide was amazing and the tour offered a perfect overall view of the city!We booked after that other tours

Tour guides: Daniella and Cecilia. They are great tour guides.

Barcelona is beautiful city. Full of history. Very picturesque. Its one of best city to visit while in Spain/Catalina. Cable car was great to great to see wonderful view of the city and Spainish town was great to get idea what are Spain structured houses looks like from different regions of Spain and walking tour was also great too. And then 2nd tour Montserrat is something that should not be missed. It's a beautiful mountain area town with full of history.

I enjoyed the trip up to Montserrat. We had spectacular views from the top of the mountain. The liquor samples were good and I ended up buying some to take home... along with some chocolate! Our guide was knowledgeable and had some interesting stories on the drive up there.

Montjuic was nice but, honestly, if you are pressed for time or have other options, maybe consider a different tour. The tour itself was good nothing against Viator but the site itself was kinda boring. I wish I opted for another tour that I was considering. The cable car ride and views from the top overlooking all of Barcelona made the trip.

There was an one and a half hour break between the morning and afternoon tours. Both guides were excellent and knowledgeable.
