Ale was wonderful! From his initial greeting at the bus, asking everyone where they were from, how they enjoyed Montserrat, explaining what we could do during our free time, and his familiarity with local history, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and has a great smile. The guides on the bus we're also very good at helping us pass the time pointing out wonderful views during the trip, telling jokes, and explaining history.

Absolutely one of the best, inspiring and surprising tours we’ve ever been on. Montserrat was all of those things. As was The Black Madonna and the Medieval Winery. Etienne, our guide, was phenomenal. He went out of his way to help us and guide our experience to be perfect. Well Done!!

We had an excellent day with our guide Vince exploring the beauty of Monserrat, while learning a lot of information about the history of Barcelona and the importance of the monks to Catalon language and culture. The tour was just the right amount of time for us to see this unique place before heading to a family owned winery- Oller el Mas in the afternoon with picturesque views and wines, as well as tapas. Vince made us feel welcome throughout the duration-he remembered details about each family/couple. He was an excellent guide who devotes a lot to his experiences and making them enjoyable. This is a great tour with a lot of activities packed in, you won’t regret.

A must-do tour with Mariana at Castle Experiences! Wonderful ride to the mountain Montserrat, perfectly timed entry into the Basilica with plenty of time to admire the Black Madonna and the church itself. Her explanations in context of the Catalan community and culture were illuminating. Lunch at Bages 964 was exceptional and the wine tasting in the stunning Oller del Mas winery is most memorable. Mariana is delightful, knowledgeable, and refreshing—a true gem of a person and guide exceptional. Take this tour, request Mariana, and have a day trip of a lifetime in Montserrat!

Our tour guide (Vince) was really energetic and enthusiastic. Whenever he was talking to us he was talking with such enthusiasm that we were always paying attention. Additionally he was always making jokes and was in very good spirit so there were also many laughs. Vince was the best! Much love from Cyprus

The guides are very attentive, they joke around with the tour a lot and that makes it interesting but still keeps the seriousness and the respect for the different areas. Special Congratulatiosn to Magy an excellent guide both in English and adapting to my parents limited English often staying behind and exam ing in Spanish always very patient with the questions. The tour guides in general made an special acomodación for a lady in the bus and I think that is something they should also be recognized for it is the little details that make a tour good.

Fantastic tour. Only wish to have had more time at the Basilica to do the extra activities like walk up the mountain to the cross, view the museum, attend Mass or take the funicular up the mountain. Didn’t have enough time to do any of those items because they were too time-consuming for are allotted time. Judit was amazing.
