Montserrat Small Group Tour Basilica +Black Madonna With Transfer

Our tour to Monserrat Monastery was just amazing. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice, seeing beautiful mountains, learn so much info and seeing Black Madonna was absolutely great experience.

We had a wonderful tour @ Montserrat. Our guide Laiya was great, knowledgeable and kept the tour on schedule. She explained everything beautifully, her passion for art was so evident and we had a good tour with her. She was caring and answered my 8 year olds questions patiently. Thank you for a lovely time together. Special thanks to our driver Bogdon for a safe and quick drive. The monastery and surrounding area is breathtaking.

An unforgettable day for us as a couple! We learned so much about how Lambrusco, Parmesan and Balsamic are crafted. The Lambrusco tasting was fun, and lunch was a real treat. Everything was perfectly organized, and our guide Stefania made the experience both educational and entertaining. Everything well organized!

The tour was a great experience overall, made even better by our guide, Nestor, who was very kind and attentive. I didn’t have cash to buy a candle to light at Montserrat, and Nestor kindly bought one for me. He also went out of his way to buy a small souvenir for everyone on the tour, which was a really thoughtful gesture. The afternoon tour included entrance to the Basilica and the Black Madonna, which was excellent. However, the free time was limited to about an hour, which wasn’t quite enough to explore other activities such as the museum or the funicular. Overall, it was a good tour with a knowledgeable and generous guide, and I would recommend it—especially for those who want a well-organized visit with a great guide.

If you are visiting Barcelona, Montserrat is an absolute must. While you can go on your own, I highly recommend booking a guided tour. Our guide was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable, hearing the whole story and the history behind the monastery made the visit so much more meaningful. The guide’s energy really made the group enjoy every minute. The group was small, less than 10 people, so it was easy to follow and felt very personalised. The views are absolutely insane! Pictures don’t do it justice. 10/10 worth it!
