Montserrat Early Morning Skip-the-hussle Half Day From Barcelona

Tour was straight forward and wonderful. Guide was very knowledgeable, and so friendly. We hade time to walk on our own. Over all- very enjoyable.

Great timing with the morning -- nice lighting and no/minimal crowds. Sophie is a superb tour guide. Very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and informative. Rafa is an excellent driver. The Mercedes van was new, very clean and comfy. Classy! Montserrat is a ""do not miss experience!"

Lesly was a great tour guide for our trip to Montserrat followed by wine tasting and small plate lunch. She was a great teacher of history for us. Montserrat was beautiful and interesting. We enjoyed the trip!

Montserrat is a must see and takes you out of the city for so much history. Carlos was an excellent tour guide and also gave us leisurely free time. Would highly recommend this tour in the morning when less crowded.

Wonderful experience. Planned well and great to beat the rush. Comfortable van and very informative. We thoroughly enjoyed the half day Montserrat visit. Our guide Carlos was an excellent host and went out of his way to help us enjoy the experience.

Moms arrest is Considered a magic Mountain with the monastery basilica and so much more! Our Tour guide Carlos was very friendly knowledgeable and professional. We also enjoyed the ride in the countryside The museum was interesting. The Mountain itself spectacular. The driver was courteous and a safe driver. The only surprise was having to pay an additional 18 euros after the tour for “tickets”. I recommend this tour highly

It was a cold and windy day, blustery even, but the mountain was beautiful and Sofia was an excellent guide, competent, conscientious, and gracious. We were her only two customers that morning but she gave us her all.

Took this tour the day in Barcelona and it was an amazing stsrt to our vacation.. Marco picked us up on time and we chatted the hour it took us to get us the the top. This half day was the perfect way to explore the monestsrt and area surrounding. AND by the time we left it was getting so crowded. Great guide of the area with a enough time to visit the church and museum Highly recommend as you get the to visit and then have the rest of the day to you explore Barcelona

The perfect experience. Our tour guide Sophie was incredibly knowledgeable and toured us at our own pace. We were met and picked up promptly and once we got to our location we were able to take a little break for coffee and pastries. Since it is a early experience we had not had our morning coffee. Monserrat is must see the views are gorgeous the architecture and history are something to be taken in. The museum and mini hike up for majestic views are worth it. There was local farmers market set up near the entry and exit and we were able to try cheeses from the area and treats prior to leaving. Amazing way to start the morning and allow for more adventure in your afternoon.

Carlos our guide was amazing. We were lucky and had him all to ourselves. He was full of knowledge and we enjoyed the casual stroll and learning about the history and architecture. I would definitely recommend this tour and if you are lucky Carlos will be your guide.

This was the best tour of the trip. Carlos was the best and he kept it relaxing and was very informative with regards to the architecture and history.

Montserrat Skip-the -Hussle was just as it sounded. We (four fiends from Australia) were met as informed in Barcelona and driven to Montserrat in a private van. We arrived by 9am well before the crowds and avoided any queuing. Carlos was so informative and read our group needs brilliantly. Montserrat is awesome and well worth a visit. Carlos then organised a lunch place for us back in Barcelona. He went out of his way to make our day special. Spread the word that Carlos is a guide we will thoroughly recommend.

My friend and I took an early morning tour of Montserrat in Barcelona, and we had an incredible experience! Our guide, Camilo, was fantastic—friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. He gave us great insights into the history and uniqueness of Montserrat, making the tour both informative and fun. Since our group was small (just the two of us), we got plenty of personalized attention, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with Camilo. Our driver was also very professional and ensured we had a smooth trip, making sure we didn’t get stuck on the mountain top. The tour itself was wonderful. When we were given free time, there was ample opportunity to explore. We visited the beautiful art museum, and there were lots of great hiking options as well. The only downside was that it got crowded very quickly around noon (it was a Saturday), but thankfully, since we went early, we had plenty of time to enjoy everything before the crowds arrived. If you’re considering visiting Montserrat, I highly recommend booking this early morning tour. And if you’re lucky, you’ll be spoiled by Camilo’s excellent guiding!
