Montserrat, Wine & Gourmet Lunch With Views From Barcelona

The experience was fine but the description I paid for said entry to the black Madonna (skip the lines) which was the main thing we wanted to do but the tour guide skipped this and we never got to see the black Madonna. This trip was a once in a lifetime trip for my husbands birthday and now he will never get to see it. I even asked twice about it before we left trying to go see the Black Madonna but we never got to go. I would not have signed up and paid so much money for this tour if that had not been included in the tour description. I’ve requested a refund. If you want to see the black Madonna this tour isn’t for you because it’s not actually included. So disappointed.

The title of this Tour said Wine and Lunch neither of which were served Ann and included with this Tour. Best to check with the Tour company to see what you’re really getting because we did not get what we were promised.

I fell in love with Delph. Her knowledge captivated me. Her interest, her passion, her knowledge transcends just a tour. Whole everything on the tour was magnificent to experience. Having Delph as our ambassador made it so much more. I would recommend seeking her out on this tour as it made for the best experience.

I had an absolutely wonderful time on this Spanish winery tour today! Our guide, Luca, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of passion for wine and local culture. He made the whole experience so enjoyable and engaging, from the vineyard walk to the tasting session. I learned a lot, enjoyed delicious wines, and felt truly welcomed throughout the day. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a fun, authentic, and memorable wine experience in Spain!

This tour overall and Anthony our tour guide were fantastic! Anthony was very knowledgeable about the area and the history. Plenty of free time to walk around the town and hike the trail to St John’s cross. After our visit to Montserrat, we had a lunch at the winery followed by a wine tasting. Anthony was fantastic in his description of each of the wines and the proper way to taste them. Afterward, we had about an hour of free time to relax at the winery where you could purchase additional wine by the glass or bottle. I highly recommend this tour and if you have Anthony as your tour guide, consider yourself lucky!

Anthony was incredible! So knowledgeable and kind. We appreciated his humor and recommendations throughout the day! From start to finish it was the perfect day! We have been to a lot of wineries but Anthony was the FIRST person to actually teach us how to properly taste and enjoy a glass of wine. 10 out of 10 For me!! Thank you Anthony!!

Thais was a WONDERFUL guide and the reason the experience was a 10/10. She was so charismatic and funny and knowledgeable. Learned a lot of good actually important things compared to other tours I’ve done. If possible I would recommend anyone to do this tour with her again. Food at the location was a little lackluster would be my only tiny gripe.

I agree with other contributors this is a wonderful tour. The bus ride, Cogwheel train and ride back to bus station very good. Monastery and Serrated mountains were forever to remember. Vince our tour guide shared so much knowledge for monastery and winery. Please be aware the weather in September is still very hot….our experience in Spain has been very welcoming and locating check in at Castle experience at the bus station was very easy. They open at 9 am Took a Freenow (Lyft)from hotel and it was about 9.00 for 4 people

Our guide Luca was great. Very knowledgeable in the history of the area. Went out of his way to insure everyone in the group was involved and comfortable.

Busy day. Fun going up in the funicular. Nice wine. Having a glass at the bar was expensive as I didn't see a price list

Montserrat was beyond our expectations. The views dramatic and unique of any mountain range in the world...I think 🤔 Our guide Luca was outstanding great information presented so we'll to be interesting and amusing. His wine knowledge was outstanding and very helpful to the eating and drinking enjoyment Very pleased overall

Vince was a brilliant guide who was friendly, knowledgeable & passionate. He was organised, but also made the trip a lot of fun. Monserrat is a beautiful location & definitely worth visiting. Lunch at the winery was a wonderful way to finish the day.
