This was a beautiful place to visit on your trip to Barcelona… actually maybe my favorite. Before we started, we enjoyed a delicious cup of cappuccino and a pastry with a beautiful view of the city. That alone is worth the visit to Montjuic. We waited about an hour to buy a round trip ticket ($19). We would have been fine with a one way because it was a very easy short, easy walk down, which we did because we wanted to enjoy the area a little longer. The castle at the top requires a separate admission but we opted out. The view was beautiful and i highly recommend visiting. Note: when we got to the ticket window, there was one person working and only one window open. We immediately were able to board the cable car. There was also no attendant there so people were taking cars solo or mostly couples. The cars hold 8 passengers. Ao the long wait is totally a result of poor management. If uou bought your tickets online, I think you can skip the line entirely- not sure. In any event , Montjuïc is a beautiful sight and highly recommend seeing it whether you walk up and down or take the cable car.

I paid 40€ each for 4 adults for 160€. When I got to the ticket gate, the attendant just shook her head. The fare is only 19€ each. Basically Viator doubled the fare! Wait and buy tickets at the gate! Viator was a scam on this one. Altogether, our family of 4 spent $4000 US dollars with Viator for 8 tours in 7 days. But, it will be the last time!!!

montjuic cable car were one of the best trip in Barcelona. The views over the city and coastline were absolutely stunning, and the ride was smooth and enjoyable. The tickets worked perfectly, and everything was well organized. I would definitely recommend booking in advance for a stress free visit.

Please check your tickets, we arrived at Mountjuic looking very excited, only to be denied entry as they no longer take tickets from this company, very let down and the number we had just rang out.

Really overpriced for what it was. Yes, the views over the city are good but really not that much better than you can get from going to the base station on the funicular that is part of the Metro. Save yourselves the 19 euro pp (plus booking fee!) cost and use the saving back in the city on some great food and drink!

We arrived at the cable cars and were informed that these tickets were 1. Not legitimate and 2. Extremely overpriced. They informed us we had been scammed. As a courtesy, they allowed us on the cable cars without paying again. Purchase tickets directly there. The line isn’t long.

We were not able to take the cable cars as they were delayed another hour and the line up was very long, we had booked the Sagrada de familia guided tour after the cable cars, so we had to cancel our cable cars so we don’t miss out on our next tour. I was provided a slip to get a refund for my tickets.

The actual cable car is fantastic. My 1 star is because I booked thru Viator and they charged me €68 for 2 return tickets. You can buy tickets at the entrance gate for €19 per person. Avoid Viator att all costs

I bought the tickets online, but when I got to the ride, I found out that they sold their tickets that do not work so be aware

When I arrived and scanned the tickets sent to me by Viatar, they were not valid. I was able to purchase tickets directly @ ticketing counter but have been unable to get response from Viatar. I feel this is a scam, buyer beware!

Excellent but be aware, this takes you to the montjuic castle and not over the water. Was well worth the visit and views were amazing

Booking a time slot was a waste of time. No real direction or help for best way to travel to the cable car. Fantastic view of the city but disappointed with overall experience

Definitely a rip off - just buy the tickets directly. Buying them here resulted in a 2x mark up. I do not recommend buying through this channel.

Fantastic views! Easy access and smooth ticketing. We went earlier in the day during the middle of the week and it was not crowded like much of the gothic quarter. A beautiful respite from all the bustle!

I almost skipped the Montjuic Cable Car, and I’m so glad I didn’t. The ride up to Montjuic feels calm and almost surreal as you float over the greenery. Perfect for photos and even better for just soaking in the scenery. A relaxing and memorable experience.

I never made it to the correct address, as it was wrong on the viator site. I contacted the company and wanted a refund . The address in the viator site is another cable car company . We decided to buy tickets on that cable car company because we had already spent money on an uber . I noticed that viator changed the address, because I sent a screen shot of the wrong address to the company through WhatsApp. This is the only way the company sends info . I was very disappointed because I had read many reviews about this same problem and thought that it had been fixed .. I was back in Barcelona 3 days later and asked if I could use my tickets then and never heard back from the company .. I want a refund for 2 tickets .

It was half the price to pay at the site feeling ripped off by Viator. The view was very good and we enjoyed going inside

My SO took a 20 minute round-trip gondola ride for €30 was not worth it. It was advertised a as a one hour tour.If we’ve gone to the beginning of the gondola, we could’ve bought the ticket for much less. The local tour Operator never showed up and only told us the address of the beginning of the gondola via WhatsApp. We are also given two different points to pick up the gondola. One was by the tour operator the other was from Viator. It took us some time to get that sorted out.

Given the wrong meet up point & missed the experience. Tried to reach someone; no luck. Very disappointed; was looking forward to the cable car excursion. Requesting a refund; waiting on a response

The views are fantastic, the ride (for two people with a fear of heights) was smooth enough and getting in early in the day meant it wasn’t too busy

Don’t use!!! They are very confusing, they give wrong directions, they don’t respond and are not helpful in any way. They’ll take your money and then offer you a discount if you book with them again. They’ll take are a joke. Stay clear

First, the map took me to a different cable car company on the other side of the bay. That was bad. I had no way to get to the correct location in time. This was a fail.

This was a great expect that my entire family enjoyed. This was our favorite moment from all of Barcelona and we were here for over a week. We loved seeing the skyline of Barcelona as this was truly a beautiful city. Seeing the large architecture and coast was great. We were able to get a high view and see the entire city which was quite unique. Me and my family have never done this before. We were grateful for the opportunity to stop multiple times along this journey. Being able to stop at the top with the cliffs and in the middle to see the harbor and coast was a huge benefit. This is what my family enjoyed a lot. This is something that I have never seen in another city before and my entire family enjoyed it frivolously.

This was a fun addition to our trip to Barcelona and gave us great views of the city and the beach. It is just a few steps away from a stop for the hop on hop off bus.

No location given for start point. Waited approximately 1hr and 20 for the trip which was decent. However for the return trip it would be another hour wait which was a huge draw back !

My mom and I took the cable car up to the castle and back down. I don't know how if it's part of this site or the castle but there is a walkway that you can use to go up or down and it talks about walking through a botanical garden. I don't know if it's the season we went in however we only saw trees and not an actual garden.

€62 for 10 mins of pure hell. Man on reception very very unhelpful. And you can get tickets on other sites for €10 each. Don’t bother just go get a jet ski instead

The directions to the starting location were completely inaccurate. It clearly stated on my receipt that the pick up spot was at the port. It was not- it was 15 minutes away. It cost me another taxi ride and the added stress that we were not going to make our booked time. Fix the problem!

It was very disappointing, furthermore, except for the cable car, which was the best experience, everything was mediocre. It cost too much for too little. Not even specifying the fact that the ticket includes one hour at the Olympic pool. Money wasted for the most part.
