The tour starts grand with a visit to the National Art Museum of Catalonia, just before you get on the cable car. The cable car tour gives you the chance to enjoy the city from a unique and beautiful perspective. I recommend buying your tickets in advance to avoid waiting in a queue upon arrival.
The views were amazing and it was very easy to navigate the self guided tour. The staff were very helpful.
As part of the tui 2 day pass of Barcelona a big plus was tickets for the monjuic cable cars as my mum and dad had been previously but never got chance to ride so on the family holiday and my first time in the city a nice activity to do together that takes you up the mountain to the castle A great view and near poble espanol which we’d been prior while riding the bus turistic ( a great way to get around ) on the red route
Beautiful views of the city and a historical overview of the mountaintop fortress. A lovely way to see Lisbon!
Don’t waste your money going through Viator, cost wide have been $17, deceptive advertising the audio isn’t explained AT ALL before you get in the cable car, ABs make sure you understand that the tour DOES NOT INCLUDE the castle tour which the advertising reflects pictures of. Just go there - you still need To stand in the long lines to convert your voucher which gets buried in emails to tickets for the cable car and the also s ticket for the Audio.
Not recommended. Viator overcharged me for this tour. They sold me a $17 ticket for over $41 as part of a group of four. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. The ticket is only for the cable car, not entry to the Casa (fort), which requires an additional ticket upon arrival. The audio tour is pointless for a five-minute cable car ride—another waste of money.
Could not find the audio for this tour. Tried to contact tour operator without any resolution. They said they email the directions to get the audio part but I never received any instructions. Make sure you get those instructions before you pay. They are more concerned with payment. If you do not hear anything it is not that important.
This experience requires you to download an app and makes it very difficult if you buy multiple tickets. Each person has to download the app and then you have to call customer service to get the ticket sent to the individual. It was very clunky. All that for an audio recording that is not very informative. We all recommend that you just purchase the ticket at the entry for half the price of this "experience."
We enjoyed the panoramic of beautiful Barcelona. My only complaint was the trouble they had processing our barcode which was for 4 people.
I would rate this 0 if I could. Wait to buy tickets at the location. I paid more than double buying through this app. I still needed to wait in line with everyone buying tickets to show the voucher that I purchased. Nice view but not worth the 10 minute ride up. I should have read the reviews before purchase.
Very easy to book tickets. Minimal queues. Felt safe. Great views across all of Barcelona from the top. Recommend stopping on the way back at the park- we had our picnic here and the kids had a great time.
Cable car ride is pretty good but did not expect a €12 entry fee to the castle. The tour guide is a very bored sounding monologue of various tourist stops in Barcelona.
Does not give any instructions how to redeem the ticket, how to have the audio guide. Most likely a scam!!! Tripadvisro must take this down
Whilst the cable car experience was good the Viator experience wasn’t…pre purchase of tickets doesn’t NOT enable you to skip the line as you still need to get a physical ticket, the cost is more and the audio (I paid for 4) is a complete waste of time and money. Do yourself a favour and just get in the line for this one - you have to anyway!
The views are nice, the ride is short, there is a nice path to walk at the drop off right at the top of the ride. It is just a very short few minutes ride, don’t have high expectations
Do not book this trip! You can buy tickets for half of this cost. You do not get to skip the line and this does not include the castle. Complete rip off.
An excellent way to see Barcelona from up high and learn about the city's history. It is well worth paying the price to enter the castle at the top of the hill. Don't be put off by the length of the line waiting to get on the cable car. It moves quickly.
We came with pre purchased tickets which facilitated out trip. There is a ticket machine where you can purchase the cable tickets. I’m assuming you can get the castle tickets too. The line was daunting but surprisingly fast. The cable cars hold 6 and they will double you with another party. This was nice as we were able to photograph each of us without the silly selflie picture. The ride was incredibly smooth until it turned. Switching the cables I guess. Gorgeous views of the city of Barcelona below. There is plenty to see: castle, cannon, green space even saw archery going on.
During our recent trip to Barcelona, my wife and I were excited to explore Montjuïc by cable car paired with an audio tour. Unfortunately, our experience was far from seamless. Upon presenting the voucher at the ticket booth, we were informed that they only accept tickets with barcodes, even though the voucher explicitly said to exchange it for tickets there at the cable car ticket office. After two phone calls to ClioMuse's customer service and a total of nearly 20 minutes waiting, we finally received the correct tickets. Thinking our issues were behind us, we boarded the cable car eager to follow the audio tour. However, ClioMuse's app proved to be far from user-friendly. Finding the Montjuïc Cable Car audio tour amidst an overwhelming, non-alphabetized list was a chore. To add insult to injury, the app then demanded $12.99 per person for the tour, even though we had pre-purchased it. Another call to ClioMuse was necessary to rectify this. In a trip where every other excursion was seamless, ClioMuse disappointed at every turn. To add irony to this ordeal, we were sent an email today (a day late!) to download our e-tickets. I've given two stars instead of one only because their customer service did eventually solve our issues, but having to call three times for a straightforward excursion is pretty disappointing. I would urge travelers to think twice before opting for ClioMuse's services.

We enjoyed the self-guided cable car tour. It is a nice way to see the city of Madrid. Pretty views. It stops off at the top at a castle. You will need to purchase an additional ticket to tour the inside of the castle.
Only one voucher scanned and I had to pay for the second one at the venue and the audio tour didn’t work for either one of us.
I wasn’t able to redeem this purchase. I got an email saying to download a PDF and present that PDF for a ticket which I did, I was then asked for a bar code to scan which the PDF and emails didn’t have. I requested a refund. Wouldn’t recommend purchasing.
My partner and I loved this trip! The view was amazing! We enjoyed the audio guide a lot as it has so interesting stories and it was simple to use it and experience the most of our visit! thank you keep it up. We will be back again!

The most scenic way to experience Barcelona! Especially if you’re in the city for a short time, this tour is definitely worth it. The audio includes detailed directions to the sights on the way to the castle as well as the return route, providing some very interesting information along the way.

It was the second time visiting Barcelona and taking the ride with the cable car. That time we chose to purchase this package for our ticket and in order to experience the ride with an audio tour: it was a great choice. The view combined with the quality content of this tour was amazing (the app very easy to use ), and the ticket made our lives easier.

A must-visit for Barcelona. The view is great for pictures, and the cable car operates smoothly. I am not very comfortable with heights, but I felt secure here. The audio is fun and enhances the experience. Most information was interesting and worked well with the location and cable car.
The experience of seeing Barcelona from above was incredible! After the ride with the cable car, I had the chance to visit so many different yet alluring attractions such as the Fundació Miró, the Botanical Garden and of course the Montjuïc Castle.
