We booked the Cava Tickets, we were disappointed as you don't get the Cava until after you have finished your visit to the Museum. You feel a Muppet just standing in the Foyer drinking Cava as people are arriving. Cava before would be better. Great selection of Modern Art displayed, but felt the art was cluttered and compromised in places. This is a must see in Barcelona. Busy, defiantly book..2 hrs is plenty of time for visit. There is no Cafe on site. We ate before at Nou Celler just round the corner (excellent). Staff were helpful.

Attended on 29/9/26. The exhibit was considered and concise, but really interesting. The audio guide was especially helpful. I LOVED the Banksy exhibit as well as the Robbie Williams pieces. Museum was not crowded at all and one could see all the pieces.
What a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the Moco Museum Barcelona impressed us on every level. We were lucky enough to have a great offer with two tickets for the price of one, including a glass of cava, which was already a wonderful start. But even without the offer, the museum itself would have been worth every cent. The building alone is beautiful and creates a remarkable atmosphere for the exhibition. The collection is superb: exciting, diverse, visually powerful and full of works that make you stop, look again and sometimes simply smile. There is so much to discover that the visit feels like an experience rather than just another museum tour. We also really appreciated the warm and friendly welcome at the entrance. Everyone we met was pleasant and welcoming, which completed the overall impression perfectly. Great art, a spectacular historic setting, a wonderful atmosphere and an excellent location in the heart of Barcelona. For us, the Moco Museum is absolutely worth visiting and one of those places we would happily recommend without hesitation. Five stars – and if we could give more, we would. Highly recommended!
No big surprises but some really interesting pieces. Excellent use of an hour or 2. Recorded guide tour uses your phone. Couldn’t make it work but didn’t matter as you read the same thing
The museum is incredible and have a lot of pop iconic pieces, Rafa help us with recommendations and info about the museum
I had a FABULOUS time at this museum! :) It is very underrated. Very helpful staff. Exquisite art exhibits. Wow! :)
short and not very big but such a surreal experience
Compact quality, I loved this place! Every inch of the gallery spaces planned to perfection, packed with complementary pieces from the modern greats. What a treat, I was beaming when I left, a few hours escape to this wonder world, alone from family beach play. A mix of sculpture, art and immersive, digital installations, beautifully curated. It’s a small gallery, so I went around the halls twice to better absorb the ambience and spend more time with each piece. I found this much more satisfying than trying to cram in a huge museum giving the pieces only a fleeting glance. I’m still smiling thinking about my visit. Because it is not packed with lines of tourists, I could take time to read the information provided to understand the context of the pieces, I recommend this approach, that way, they will stay with you in your heart...
Didn't know what to expect, but was really impressed by the MOCO collection. It would be a dream to one day have this level art as my personal collection. Grateful to see Banksy's work in-person for the first time, as well as be introduced to artists like Robin Kidd and Guillermo Lorca. Rafael (one of the employees at the front entrance & register) was incredibly kind and helpful.
The museum was AMAZING. To quote my father who I went with, “this is the first modern museum I’ve ever loved”. Each piece was breath taking and held such meaning. Highly recommend.
Definitely worth a visit! We were recommended this Museum due to the Banksy display but we were also blown away by the other artists there. Such a lovely place to spend an hour or so with a good gift shop at the end. Highly recommend.
Incredible!!!! The message of the art really got you into deep thoughts
The modern art at the museum was interesting. I’m not an artsy fartsy person but it was enjoyable and I would go again. We loved the digital art and the room with the lights. That was cool. It is a fast museum and won’t take very long to be done unlike the Picasso. Some pieces are cool and fun while Some are like what is going on here, which we liked.
It was okey - good explanations - but a bit unbalanced - one artwork of Andy Warhol and a number of Banksy exhibits that are countless… A bit pricy compared to what you actually get
Was a great time loved the whole museum we were able to take our time it’s not the biggest museum but it’s got amazing art work
Wow!! Absolutely worth the time and money if you appreciate modern art! I walked past the museum while checking out the old gothic part of Barcelona. I’m so glad I saw the museum and even more glad that stopped in and bought a ticket. Such a contrast to all the other sights I saw that day (all of which were amazing). I bought numerous items from the gift shop. Just do it!!! You won’t be disappointed!
A Gem Next Door to the Picasso Museum! When in Barcelona, if you scheduled yourself for the Picasso Museum, this writer would highly suggest a visit right next door to the MOCO museum for an additional hour or so. This museum does not require advanced tickets. It was not crowded. The collection is varied and covers both downstairs and upstairs galleries, including big names such as Banksy and Robbie Williams (see photos). The young, hip staff members were welcoming and friendly, and we enjoyed the very trendy-feeling vibe of the place. Some of the artists clearly have a light sense of humor. I am very glad we stumbled upon this museum.
I loved it, I will remeber this experience for life it was such a good afternoon
A fantastic display with many modern artists and an alternative take on. My Daughter and I have visited Moco London and were impressed , this was equally as good. The interactive display was superb. We are not art snobs but love art in its purest form where the artist is communication clearly.
Wonderful and amazing art work. Great place to spend time with your loved one’s.
Small displays of Banksy, Basquiat’s and Herings, but an enjoyable, quick museum, about an hour to an hour and a half for everything.
A bit of a last minute choice to visit, booked on museum website the morning of visit and was first through the door. Quite something to see so many recent works including the Banksy exhibition up close and in person. Well presented space to spend an hour or 2.
Clean and tidy but I wouldn’t come again. Didn’t spend long in here but didn’t really take it all in
Great recent modern art collection! From 80's to present, manufacturing of the recent greats! Really well curated. Every single piece was super!
Very small exhibition wirh a small selection of arts pieces per artists ! Only one piece from Dali … But you can take advantage of visiting the museum as well as the neighborhood.
The Moco Museum Barcelona has a clear mission: making modern and contemporary art more accessible and engaging for today’s audiences. Located in the historic Palau Cervelló, the contrast between the building and the artworks creates an interesting and visually striking experience. The route includes works by internationally recognized artists as well as immersive installations that address contemporary social and cultural themes. A typical visit lasts between 60 and 90 minutes and is designed to feel dynamic and easy to follow. This is not an encyclopedic or traditional museum; it functions more as a curated snapshot focused on urban culture, pop art, and sensory experiences. For visitors interested in contemporary art and looking for an engaging stop in the El Born district, it is a strong choice.
Garbage exhibition, poorly curated, mainly prints, not originals! Damien Hirst, print. Banksy, a bunch of prints on loan from a ‘yacht art collection’. Couldn’t be any more symbolic of the nonsense of art as a commodity. Exit through the gift shop etc. very brief walk, about 6 rooms in total oneof whicu given over to Robbie Williams MS paint self indulgence rubbish.
Amazing experience, great staff and great artwork! Good price and good atmosphere
Awesome collection - very approachable and enjoyable for the non “art savvy” like me. Definitely come check it out…………
The concept of making art accessible to everyone is executed brilliantly in this sensational museum. Contemporary art presented within historic walls is perfectly curated, creating a striking and harmonious contrast. A wide variety of exhibits offers deep insight into the artists and their works, leaving a strong and lasting impression. The experience is further enhanced by the friendly staff and the pleasant music throughout the galleries. A clear recommendation for anyone interested in art.
We always try to go there when in Barcelona. It is in a very nice part of Barcelona and is housed in an old Building. It takes about 1 to 2 hours to see it all , depending on how quickly you want to watch and read about the art pieces . It is very inspiring and thought provoking. Read all the notes by each piece (where available ) and you will see a different world and a different mind. Some background stories are just amazing . Go there
Moco museum is such a fun place to look around. So much to look around. Audio assistance was available so you could get all the information on each exhibit. A mix of modern, contemporary and digital art. There is a Banksy exhibit and even some art by Robbie Williams. The immersive part of the museum was great fun. You can even make your heart rate dance on a huge digital wall. You are not rushed through so you can spend as much time as you like at each piece of art. Has also got a lovely gift shop with something for everyone . Really was worth a visit.
Hello, this museum is a must have if you like something fun and creative. Also a big thank you to Rafa the Mexican guy for helping me with the process and making this experience smoother. Thank you again😁
Pretty fun couple hours activity. €77 for a family of four seems like a fair bit to pay… however we enjoyed the guided audio tour, and the different exhibitions. Highlights being, the Robbie Williams expo, and the immersive art.
All new for us! A big beautiful surprise and sentimental visit! Barsky, Worhall, all expending Art boundaries! The place is a little difficult to find but it's worth the try! Next to another two other Picasso and ethnology museum ...
Compact and interesting exhibition. I recommend it to all modern art fans. Everyone will get a wonderful experience- good emotions guaranteed!
Tiny and brief - we were there 45 minutes and were able to read every description and see everything thoroughly (including the gift shop and extra digital art experience). There were some quality pieces/collections, but the overall experience took us from frustration (standing in the rain while two employees tried to scan tickets and guide everyone in at opening time) to disappointment. First of all, I was shocked at the lack of representation of female artists (only two). Although the art they had was good, it was a very masculine perspective and I found it hard to relate. Even the gift shop did not carry women’s t-shirts. The biggest disappointment, however, was the digital art tickets. The brief experience and glass of cava was a joke and a complete waste of money.
It was nice but smaller than I expected. I allocated 2 hours for the visit but with the audioguide I still didn’t stay more than 45 min
This is a small collection, but the carefully chosen selection of great artists and pieces keeps a tourist – otherwise busy with all the city’s attractions - focused on the very best. Guillermo Lorca’s works are striking: fresh, imaginative, and captivating.
it's a mix of old life with new art, i live a dream. One of the best experience i've done in Barcellona love, love, love, love
Wonderful to have the opportunity to view all these great works under one roof! The staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to modern art enthusiasts
Loved everything about it, especially the colours. And I had to go over the gift shop several times, it was a tempting experience.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Moco Museum. I was keen to see the works of Robbie Williams which is a temporary display at the museum. Many other great contemporary artists there too. The museum was spacious and cool and the free audio tour was a bonus. Only negative would be that we wished it was a little larger. Allow about 1 hour to visit.
Underwhelming to say the least. It was very political and took us less than 30 minutes to go through it. Pretty much a waste of time.
Didn't think this was worth the entry fee. There was just one small section that I'd describe as immersive, the rest was not. The information on the audio was good, but nothing you couldn't read on Wikipedia. The staff were really friendly and the museum spotlessly clean. Wasn't for me unfortunately
Excellent. Great modern and contemporary art displayed in a accessible way with good audio explanations. The location of the museum and the building itself are also worthwhile. Enjoyed walking around in the museum and so did our teenage children.
The guided tour of the museum was truly enriching; all the artworks are very interesting, but I would personally highlight the works of Robin Kid and Guillermo Lorca. My thanks to Helen, our charming guide.
The museum itself is great and totally worth the visit. However, the staff is super rude and unprofessional, I had my ticket scheduled for 7pm and since the museum closes at 8, they literally come to you at 7:55 and kick you out. If you’re so strict and punctual about your time then don’t let us schedule the at 7 pm especially if on your site it says the visit takes around 90 minutes. I had 4 more rooms to visit, don’t know if this is the official policy of Moco, but if it is, they don’t deserve to celebrate these geniuses.
Audio tour was well done and informative. Great Street and Pop art on display. Museum is well laid out and simple to navigate. Perfect size to explore without being rushed or overwhelmed. Very enjoyable!
And the staff? Legends. Absolute living art pieces. Honestly, they should be framed and hung on the walls like masterpieces, that’s how thoughtful, kind, and effortlessly cool they are. 👑🖼️ Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat Basquiat
