A conveyor-belt experience, nowhere near the advertised five-star standard My friend and I visited Thai Bali on 25 October for one-hour Balinese massages. We arrived 20 minutes before our appointment, expecting a relaxing experience. Instead, I left disappointed with both the massage and the way my complaint was handled. The rushed atmosphere started before the treatment. We politely requested tea, but it took so long to arrive that it was already time for our massages. As soon as it was served, staff insisted we go into the room immediately, explaining that they had other clients. We had arrived early precisely to avoid rushing, yet we were made to feel as though we were holding up a production line. At the start of my massage, I asked for more pressure because the therapist was barely doing more than stroking my skin. She laughed and said it was just the beginning, then spoke to the therapist massaging my friend in a language we could not understand. I do not know what was said, but laughing in response to a straightforward request felt dismissive. Unfortunately, the pressure and quality did not meaningfully improve. The entire treatment felt half-hearted, with very little attention to my comfort. The towel covering my eyes slipped, and my hair had not been properly wrapped. I could see that my friend’s therapist was more attentive, including taking care with the towels and covering her feet. The contrast made the lack of care in my own treatment even more obvious. I raised my concerns politely at reception. Rather than apologising or meaningfully addressing what I described, the receptionist referred to the fact that I had booked a one-hour massage and told me the therapist had five-star ratings in their system. Neither explanation addressed the problem. A one-hour appointment should still include competent technique, attention to comfort and a professional response to feedback. The awards and five-star claims created expectations that my experience did not come close to meeting. I have had many massages elsewhere and received considerably better care and professionalism. This felt like a tourist-focused business prioritising the next appointment over the person already on the table. I would not recommend it based on my experience.

Absolutely the best Thai spa in Vizag! I had an amazing experience at Buddha Thai Spa. The ambiance is calm, clean, and truly relaxing. I opted for the traditional Thai massage, and the therapist was highly professional and well-trained. You can really feel the difference in quality compared to other spas in Visakhapatnam.

Ordered a couples massage. Freezing cold in the massage room. Rude staff, no professionalism in massage or stretching. While the massage is being done, the masseurs are talking to each other in their own language. There was a lot of snoring. The experience was not good at all. I have had many Thai massages. I have never experienced feeling bad in my soul and body. I felt like I was being slighted.

Celebrity Ascent-Don’t spend extra money for a concierge room… not worth it! The so-called “Veranda/Balcony Room” is basically a bumped out space in the room with a window that slides half way down. When the window was open the AC in the room would shut off and the room would get extremely warm. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience in our concierge room. We specifically asked for a balcony room with no obstruction but these concierge rooms were on the 12th deck and there was an overhang with 2 side poles which basically obstructed the views . When I complained to guest service about it, they said that they do not consider it an obstruction when clearly it is! Also, above us was the running path bridge and every morning around 5am we would hear the pounding/thumping sound from runners that would wake us up… on top of that was the lounge chair area which we would hear screeching sounds from people moving their chairs. It was not a pleasant experience. For the size of the ship the pool area is not big enough. Food could have been better. Will probably try another cruise line next time.

We spent almost 70 euros per person expecting to enjoy a relaxing and professional experience, but it was the opposite. From the beginning of the massage, constant conversations and noises could be heard in the corridors. The situation was so annoying that my partner had to ask the masseuse to turn up the volume of the ambient music, as the noise was completely creeping into the room, and it was not even possible to stop listening. The facilities do not have adequate maintenance for the time of the building, they do not isolate anything, so every sound from the outside is heard with complete clarity. The experience was nothing relaxing, from the beginning everything feels in a hurry, and the options of aroma therapy seemed limited, far removed from what is expected in such a place. We're not coming back.

As soon as the massage started, we kept hearing the workers talking in the hallways, making noises and constantly banging. This lasted more than half of the massage, to the point that I had to ask the girl who was attending to me to turn up the volume of the ambient music, because you could hear absolutely everything. The doors are made of antique wood and do not insulate anything, so the noise completely creeps into the room. The most curious thing is that in the shower area there is a sign that says “Silence, please”, which is quite ironic after all the fuss there was. As I left, I discussed it with my partner and he confirmed that I had had exactly the same feeling. At reception I mentioned it too, but they told me that “all the girls were in the room”, which was not true, because the noises were constant during much of the massage. Honestly, for almost 70 euros that massage costs per person, one expects a relaxing and professional experience, and this was far from it. We're not coming back.

To make it as personalized as possible. We leave very happy and wanting to repeat As soon as you enter, you begin to enjoy its relaxing Mood.

My therapist was really great, my wife's therapist was great. However, we were not informed that my wife would be massaged by a man, and although it did not cause her any problem (we live part of the year in Asia and are used to being very well massaged by male or female professionals without distinction ...), we can easily imagine that this could be disturbing for some clients. Finally, although the winter period is eventually involved, my wife’s therapist would scrape her throat or sniff (it was probably a Tic ) every 30 seconds, and this deeply disturbed us in our “let go.”... Even if it seemed reasonable and easy to mentally extricate yourself from this nuisance, it is hardly acceptable for a Spa that wants to be blameless in every way. Unfortunately, incoming and outgoing clients behave with little regard for those in the treatment rooms. Our cabin may have been less insulated than others, but we have been through the conversations aloud of other guests present in the common areas... Too bad that this “savoir vivre” is not more efficiently and rigorously asked of guests entering this spa.... This is not a Station Hall!!

We had time thinking of going to this Spa until the opportunity arose. Everything perfect massage with my exceptional partner, very clean local and every detail of its decoration is located where it belongs, without words we only need to recommend it to the whole community.

I would definitely recommend this experience sometime. The intensity is your choice and leaves you feeling new. If you choose the Jacuzzi option, you end up with a bath in a total relaxing Jacuzzi.

disappointment...we had a gift voucher to make us massage as a couple in the same room...once there we are treated in a hurry and we are told that you can NOT perform such massage because the room is occupied, which had to be each one in a room, which we did not want because it was a special occasion but we still accepted not to leave without the gift that made us so excited, first we decide to wait or go later and they told us that it was not possible, the only option they offered us was a discount for the next time...the massage I did not like, I had to tell him several times to loosen up that I was hurting very much, too hard for me although the girl was careful and great professional. To finish my partner was told that he could NOT shower because his room did NOT have shower...anyway a disaster, lucky that my partner told them that he had to shower because we were going to dinner and could not go all full of oil and in the end he came to my room to make use of the shower, because he said it, because they did not offer it, yet a masseuse came in when we were showering, without itching, I guess I went in to pick up the room but I found it very unprofessional and in a lot of hurries....very expensive for the Service you receive, I do not think we will return even to spend the compensation bonus that we were given for the inconvenience.

I went with my cousin to do a Thai massage to relax and the truth is that very well, they put relaxing musiquita and they massage all over your body, they do not speak very good Spanish but they understand you and are good professionals and very friendly masseuses. 100% recommended.

I went in January for a couples massage. It is a super pleasant experience, a perfect plan to enjoy an hour of peace, relaxation and harmony. I've been twice already: One with my husband and one with my daughter. Masseuses are lovely. I loved Bali thai, with stretches first and aromatic oil with relaxing massage later. It is a perfect plan for any day, even open on Sundays. Now that we can’t leave Barcelona because of covid it’s an excellent gift.

Couple massage was great, we were in two rooms that had a sliding door to see us. The fact that masseuses are Thai is a plus. When you enter you have to choose between different aromas of oils for your massage. Before head massage they go out to clean their hands with what I have seen difference with other centers that dirty your hair with oil. At the end they offer you shower or cleaning with hot towels. As they comment in other opinions it is true that the decoration is not Thai at all, what is more, it is curious that the decoration is as if you were inside the Batllo house. It has nothing to do with the massage theme. But for me the important thing is the massage and then in the background the decoration, which is true that they could change it if they want to improve the experience of other users. In short, recommendable.

The centre has even more extreme if possible, the hygienic measures it had. They take the temperature when you enter, shoe cleaning, even if you undress and put on disposable flip-flops, hand cleaning, masks... all great to continue enjoying Thai massages. They are all great professionals, especially Nattha, who is the Thai therapist I usually ask for, as she adapts the type of massage chosen to your ailments and circumstances. I came with my partner and they massaged us in the same room. I can only say that after yesterday's massage I slept like a baby. Fully recommended.
