Valentina was lovely. Had a private tour. She was very willing to show us anything we wanted. She really knew the city and had great suggestions and information for us. My daughter enjoyed her too

I have used VIATOR for many years and it’s always been a pleasant and memorable experience, UNTIL YESTERDAY. It was our first day in Barcelona and this was the tour that was going to show us around the city. We got to the designated meeting place about 15 minutes before the schedule tour and waited 45 minutes for no one to show up. I did try to meet our tour guide by email since this was a personal tour. It took a few hours to get in touch With the local company, the hotel staff helped me do that since I don’t speak the language. We finally heard from them with somebody who speaks English and she said that the tour guide had a personal problem. Well, the tour guide had my email address she’s emailed me many times and the company should’ve had my email address. So there’s no excuse somebody should’ve gotten in touch with me . If I hadn’t had so many good experiences with VIATOR I certainly would not be back. But today we had a wonderful tour and a wonderful tour guide the way it’s always been before.
The tour was exactly as advertised. Our tour guide Shari most definitely loves the city of Barcelona and shared this appreciation with us. It was a personal tour. I highly recommend this as a nice start to your visit in Barcelona.
What a friendly, funny, nice & knowledgeable guy August is. We really enjoyed the Kickstart of Barcelona. Never rushed us & showed us everything & more.
Don't have a lot of time, then this is a must tour. Or if you arrive early evening, this tour gets you acclimated to the Barcelona. Our tour guide Shari was great. She was accommodating given that we were a little late, but Shari met with us and was understanding. She walked us around the Gothic area, visiting various churches, the burning flame of Catalan, to the the Bandstand dedicated to Sonia where live salsa dancing was happening at The Parc de la Ciutadella that also had a massive monumental waterfall, a pond and a romantic English garden dated back to 1888. Shari also made great eating recommendation to Joosy. While they accommodated us when we arrived, we would recommend that you make reservation.
We had a great tour experience with Augusto! He was right on time, and very knowledgeable about the history of Barcelona, especially the Gothic quarter and El Born area. He shared great stories and bits of trivia at each stop on the way. He also catered the tour to specific areas of interest for us. We'd definitely recommend him for another tour.
We had a blast with Andy! Great knowledge of the city and personality to boot! He gave us some great recommendations and showed us things we would have never found on our own!
Had a fabulous walk about the city with a quick synopsis of Barcelona’s history. Our guide answered questions and gave tips for the rest of our stay.
This walking tour took us through the gothic district of Barcelona. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information. Unfortunately your did not include Sagrada Familia and end point was almost 30 minutes walk from starting point. But all in all an enjoyable couple hours.
We met our guide Elizabeth spot on 11.00am .we were a small group of 3 . The tour was excellent Elizabeth was brilliant and we covered a great areas of interest in the amount of time we had . I would highly recommend this tour
Our tour guide, Laura, was very knowledgeable and fun. It was a great into to the Gothic area and Las Ramblas.
I stayed in the edgy El Born neighborhood and wanted a tour of the Barri Gotic area. It was a great introduction to navigating this part of the city with its narrow winding lanes and learning more about Roman Barcelona and its moxie always walls. My guide Ferran provided a knowledgeable tour during the walk. We also had time to take photos during the jaunt and take a restroom break at a cafe. Some photos I took are from Placa del Rei (where King Ferdinand and Queen Isabel welcomed back Columbus in 1493), the Church of Sant Felip Neri (still showing shrapnel damage on its wall from the Civil War of the 1930s), la Boqueria Market on the Ramblas (try the Iberico Ham with Manchego Cheese), and the Monument to the Martyrs of Independence. Many thanks again for the tour! Visited on August 27. I didn’t get to go inside the Barcelona Cathedral because of the long queue but I returned later during my trip in the morning when it was not too crowded.
I would highly recommend this walking tour. I did an evening tour with tour guide Elsbeth who was very knowledgeable and gave lots of interesting information. Really got the holiday off to a great start.
Excelente guía, con conocimiento pleno, y atención exacta. Nos hizo el recorrido tan ameno, que se fue el tiempo en un instante.
We had a nice start to our city trip in Barcelona with this walk. Laura, our guide knew a lot about the city and its history.
