Jewish Tour By Jewish Guide In Barcelona

We had a 2 hours Jewish tour in Barcelona. Our guide - Adi Mahler- is very knowledgeable. We had fun and learned a lot not only about Jewish people living in Barcelona many centuries ago but, also, about Barcelona of that time. It was very educational. Adi is very knowledgeable and fun. We learned a lot and would definitely recommend to others who would like to learn not only about Jewish history, but the history of the Gothic Quarter.

Our family of five had an absolutely wonderful tour of Barcelona. Our guide, originally from Israel and living in Barcelona for the past 17 years, was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the city’s history and culture. What impressed us most was his ability to connect with everyone in our group. He kept our 9-year-old daughter interested and involved while also providing the depth, context, and historical perspective that the parents and grandparents thoroughly enjoyed. Finding a guide who can successfully engage ages 9 to 69 is no small feat, but he made it look effortless. His knowledge seemed endless, yet he presented everything in a way that was approachable, entertaining, and easy to understand. We learned far more than we expected and came away with a much deeper appreciation for Barcelona’s Jewish history. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and we could not have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a guide who is intelligent, personable, engaging, and able to tailor the experience to a diverse group, we highly recommend him.

Guide was excellent, well informed and had a planned itinerary of easy walking. He was easy to understand and conducted two way conversations with us, rather than talking AT us. We were engaged for the entire hours.

This tour was excellent. It gave a historical perspective of not only Jewish history, but Barcelona history as well. We were exposed to Roman ruins and Mikvahs hidden in stores that we would not have found on our own. Adi, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining.
