What a wonderful way to remember our holiday in Spain. We booked this class as a fun activity for our family. We are so glad we did! The staff explained the basics of making a mosaic item. They have plenty of templates that you can choose from and they provide all the tools and materials required. There is plenty of staff available to help each participant and they are very patient answering questions from those of us that are not very "artsy" or "crafty". The staff were helpful, without being intrusive and willing to provide helpful hints or tips and tricks to assist. We booked the 4 hour class and needed every minute of it!

This was so fun! I booked the four hour class because some of the reviews here stated two hours was not enough. Axelle was my instructor, and she did a fantastic job making sure I knew how to properly cut and glue the tiles. I chose to make the salamander since it’s one of Gaudi’s mosaics at Park Güell, and it represents Barcelona to me. It turned out so cute. I love it! Please make note that your mosaics need time to be grouted and dried. So you’ll do the work one day and need to pick it up the following day. If you have the time to book a class here, do it! You won’t regret it.

The young woman who taught us was amazing. I can not recall her name. She was very professional. Her English was so good I thought she was from the States. She was from Turkey. She made this class very fun. We have cool souvenirs that we made too.

We had children, parents, grandparents with varying skills. There were plenty of staff to help as needed and desired. They were very helpful, encouraging and enthusiastic. Everyone has a great time!

This was a lot of fun and a very special way to learn about Gaudi and his artistic influence on Barcelona! We love our finished product and our workshop leader, Malis, was absolutely lovely!

The experience was very positive. I would only recommend to reinforce your presence during the workshop and offer customers some snacks and drinks. These are little details that would improve the experience. Loved our creations!

The staff was so helpful and personable. You had many options to choose from to create. A great 2 hour class with family of all ages. We have kids from 6 up to 20 and adults up to 84 years old. We all enjoyed it!

Angelika and her entire team are so kind and accommodating. They were able to accomodate to all our requests in terms of schedule, timing, food etc. More importantly, the class was simple and easy to follow. I brought 2 8-yr old kids and both of them totally enjoyed themselves and were proud of their artwork. The finished aka Gaudi art piece is very beautiful and out of this world. We would absolutely love to do this again.

My husband travels to Barcelona for work and this was an awesome experience for me to do alone. I have been two times now, one two hour class and one four class. The shop is small but everyone is so welcoming, especially the owner! The experience itself is so much fun but educational at the same time. Learning about Gaudi and the history of mosaics is so interesting. We are headed back to Barcelona in September and I can't wait to book another class!!!

It was such a great experience for all my family. I have a 7, 9, and 21 year old and they all enjoyed it. It helped them appreciate all the mosaic architecture in Barcelona. Highly recommend!

Overall, this was a fun experience. Upon arriving, the three of us were seated at a large table with maybe 10 people total all who had booked the 10:00 time slot. All supplies were laid out and there was an outstanding collection of colored tiles are organized in bins! There were two women working there and it was a little awkward upon entering as there really wasn't a greeting and there was zero introduction like their names and welcome in to the place or any talk of how we are going to have fun creating, just came in and kind of saw the empty chairs and sat down and people chose their project. They showed us 2 or 3 options for what we wanted to make but we didn't like them and asked if there were others. They then opened a small cabinet and showed us a few. We chose vases and others then wanted the same but they had run out of them. We were hoping to make little keepsake boxes and had emailed about choices when booking and they indicated choice wasn't an issue for the four hour booking but it was indeed a bit limited. In our group, there were people who had booked 2 hour slots as well. We received very good instructions and demonstrations on how to break the tiles and place them and what order to do so. We wore glasses given to us for eye protection. The women supervised us well and kept us on track and were encouraging along the way. It was fun. It was a bit warm in there in June so bring a little handheld fan if that bothers you. Half way through, a supervisor (maybe owner) came in and the couple next to us were very optimistic with their project choice laying out intricate patterns of buildings and she came in and told them bluntly they would never complete such work in the time of the class. The couple were surprised and discouraged but kept working and we left before them so don't know how it turned out but I think someone there should have asked what designs the people were thinking about so this could have been caught early for them. So, if you are planning to do a special design, be sure to ask early and do book the longer class. We were also asked if we wanted to take a break and go get food but it wasn't clear if that would cut into our four hours and honestly, we are glad we didn't as we used over three there to complete our designs. We were then asked if we could come back the next day to pick them up but most of us needed it that evening as leaving Barcelona the next day and they were accommodating having us return between 6-7 that evening. Do know they have to do the grout finishing work so if you only have one day, book the earliest spot so you can get it back late that day! Upon return, our projects were waiting for us and the manager/owner was there and so complimentary of our work which was kind. They wrapped up each piece so carefully with bubble wrap for packing. We ended up with a great keepsake of our trip and memories of the beautiful mosaic work all around Barcelona. I would suggest this tour if you have the time and want a nice souvenir that isn't from a tourist shop, just communicate what you desire to get out of this early on. It was fun and worth it!

If you are a hands on crafts person, this is a fun activity. Please note that there are 1, 2, and 3 hour class options, which I didn’t know. Good for all ages and the walk to class is through a very old world beautiful part of the city.

We enjoyed this! The instructors gave us many options for projects. They checked on us regularly...but not intrusively...and provided good advice. The time flew by!

Great for couples or family. Lot's of fun, nice keeps sake to take home. Be aware that your mosaic will not be ready right away.

Fantastic experience!! I went solo, learned about trencadis, and made a design on a mirror. Tools and materials provided. Instructors were nice, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Located near the Picasso Museum, your taxi can take you only so far, then you need to find your way on foot. Once we arrived we enjoyed our session with the master mosaic artist and her assistants. Adults and kids alike were there creating their own masterpieces. I’d totally recommend this for anyone inspired by Gaudi!

I visited Angelika and her workshop with my 12 year old daughter in August. The location for such a workshop is perfect in the narrow streets and it is great fun to do. After three hours you really have something you can take home from your trip. It makes the world of Gaudi come to life and creates great memories. Would certainly recommend it!

Had such a wonderful time at this Mosaic workshop! It was so relaxing but also exciting and really got your creative juices flowing! Angelica was a great teacher and guided you through the process, whilst giving you the space to make your own creative choices. I highly recommend this experience if you're visiting the city, or even if you live here and want to do something a bit different. :)

Mosaiccos is located in the Gothic Quarter and offers a range of fun options for visitors. This can be a fun activity for families, couples or solo travelers. We chose the 4 hour class which was the right amount of time for us. You spend the time creating your work of art and then the staff will grout it for you later and you must return the next day to pick it up. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful and we left feeling like we made new friends. It is a great break from walking around Barcelona and you can create a wonderful souvenir. Shorter sessions are available as well. We highly recommend this activity.

Having been to the Gaudi exhibits many times, I wanted to give it a try. It was therapeutic and relaxing and loved the experience. Well worth it!

Looking for a way to experience Gaudi apart from visiting his shrines, we found Mosaiccos. My wife took a 4 hour workshop with Angela and thoroughly enjoyed the creative experience. I would highly recommend any of the various workshops that are offered here. It is a great way to feel the experience of Gaudi. You should probably see some Gaudi's work first to be inspired but visiting a Gaudi site afterwards gives a much deeper appreciation of the artistic genius. Angela is a very helpful guide through the integrated and imaginative joy of mosaics and the genius of Gaudi.

As part of a mosaic course trip through Erasmus, we had eight women experience a four-hour course on site. We received a short introduction to the mosaic laying and the history of the mosaic. Extensive material, technical advice and own ideas contributed to the fact that all participants were able to record very good results. Communication was warm and appreciative. Good morning! I finally wanted to leave a review for that special workshop that my friend and I spent in your workshop. It is what I remember most about that trip to Barcelona and we loved the experience and the kindness and patience they had with us. Angelica was a sun and we were very grateful to meet her to collect the Marks we made and for her kindness. It was also nice to share that time with a couple and their son, chatting with them at times, having a laugh and enjoying the time of creating something so beautiful I recommend it to everyone!! Every time I see the frame we made at home it reminds me of that trip and those creative hours, trying something new and having a great time. Thanks for everything!
