Definitely a highlight on our Barcelona trip! We didn't realize that it would be completely private! ( Just my husband, myself, and our tour guide, Mateo.) He was our favorite guide of all the various activities we did on our Spain trip! He was extremely knowledgeable which we very much appreciate, and his passion for history was very apparent. The bullet train to Girona was as easy as a train ride could be, we arrived in about 35 minutes! Everything we saw was so beautiful and full of history. If you're a Game of Thrones fan, it's definitely a plus as we were about to see multiple filming locations! We plan on going back to Spain in the near future and would definitely love Mateo to be our guide on future tours!

We had a fantastic day in Girona. Our guide, Lucas was wonderful, knowledgeable and very accommodating. He took us to all the locations where Game of Thrones was filmed. Highly recommend. My only issue was that the tour operator gave us the wrong time and address to meet him. But once he found us it was wonderful.

Matteo was very educated about the city of Girona and he was so friendly. He answered all our questions and he was a fun tour guide. It made the trip more fun.

The train was late otherwise it would be a 5 star. We were a bit rushed. But our guide was unflappable and knowledgeable and very pleasant and professional

We had Lucas as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and patient. I am 73 and my wife is 62 so we had some issues doing some of the walking in Girona. He gave us all the time we needed to rest and we would highly recommend him. August and Kris.

This was the perfect Barcelona get away for a day. It rained while on our tour but our group leader Bosco kept our spirits up and excited about the cities we were visiting. We didn’t spend too much time within each city as this is only to go e you a taste of each city but it was all absolutely beautiful and fun! We got some time to explore and do some shopping. Bosco was very attentive and made sure all our needs were met.

The trip was excellent , 5 star organisation skill and a great guide - Bosco . Prepare yourself for a long day as travel is a bit longer between the places .

Lucas was an excellent guide though the winding, scenic streets of Girona. My family of three had a wonderful afternoon. We really enjoyed the accessibility via the train. I would definitely recommend this excursion, especially since I debated going on our own. It was so nice to learn about Girona and see the sights without having to book train tickets or worry about navigating the town.

Phenomenal guides Jimena and Lucas very professionals and lots of knowledge about the city history and culture… they took us for a walk thru the walls surrounding the city with amazing 360 views… we definitely recommend this tour with also the fast train experience.

It was an amazing experience with Jimena and Lucas as our guides… we learned a lot about the history and culture of Girona… they also took us to the top of the walls surrounding the city and all the places for games of thrones… we ended our tour in a coffee shop for closings over a cappuccino!!! Our family enjoyed our half day tour of Girona with Bosco. It was an easy journey out and back. We learned about the history and walked around all of the old city, stopping for a few photos at Game of Thrones movie scenes and parts of the old Jewish quarter. We also enjoyed some free time on our own for food and shopping towards the end. Would definitely recommend a tour with Bosco.

This is a very worthwhile tour. Make sure you visit the basilica and the tapestry. The Turkish bath is fascinating (especially for Game of Thrones fans) The town itself is the western reach of Charlemagne’s battles to stop the Moors. So blend of many cultural architectural styles. Excellent experience, really great way to get to Girona with rail train easier than by bus. Our guide Jimena was very knowledgeable and informative. She was also engaging with the group and any questions or concerns. Would recommend if you want to visit Girona, this is the best way to do so.

Roger was an excellent tour guide for our trip. This ancient city is very beautiful and interesting! We had a couple elderly folks with some walking issues who probably should not have taken this tour due to the amount of walking and the uphill areas. He made the best of the situation and tried very hard not to let their delays affect the rest of the group very much. Viator may want to emphasize the strenuous walking needs for this tour.

A good 5 hours in Girona with Roger the guide. Good service from meeting point in Barcelona to historic area of Girona with high speed train. Well organized indeed.

We are a group of 4 friends, visiting Girona for the first time. Our tour guide, Roger, is friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed a stroll and hike in this little medieval town. We had a two-hour free time to ourselves. The weather was sunny and nice and the duration of the trip was perfect, not too long or too short. Transportation by high speed train was also very convenient.

Marco was an amazing tour guide! So much history on Girona and even included some Game of Thrones locations with pictures to reference! Made us eat Xuixo which was probably my favorite dessert of Barcelona. Gave the tour in English! Small group also made it very personable! So happy I booked through WE.

The tour guide never showed up. No one emailed me to let me know it was cancelled. I waited and waited and wasted 2 hours of my day and round tip taxi fare. Will never use Viator again. First and last time.

Girona is a wonderful place to visit and explore. We enjoyed our time there, especially the visit to the Jewish Museum. Our guide was friendly and helpful but we would prefer native born guides when visiting these locales.
