Excellent tour and wonderful guide. Learnt heaps ! Tour guide had so much knowledge Still lots to learn next visit
This tour worked out better than expected. At 80+, we were afraid we would not be able to walk all the way from the tour start location to La Padrera. As it turned out, the two of us were the only ones on the 1:30 tour. After Palau Guell and El Antiguo Hospital we were able to take a short rest. We then took a taxi directly to La Padrera, skipping the miles and less interesting places in between. We were well rested for the hour in La Padrera, which was great. We the went straight back to hotel.
Simon was our exceptional tour guide
Victoria gave us an excellent tour of the Gaudí houses. There is a lot of walking. Our guide took us on the subway to see the last house- Casa Vicens. I was glad that this tour included tickets to La Predera and casa Vicens.
Fascinating walk through the neighborhoods of Barcelona. Our guide Victoria was very knowledgeable and passionate about Gaudi and the city.
Victoria did an excellent job showing us Gaudi homes and explaining unique features. She was very conversational and told us a lot about Barcelona in general. She was personable and flexible.
Very good tour. Pedro was excellent. Rain didn't bother us at all. Gaudi houses and the walking tour were excellent.
Amazing tour and should NOT be missed! Horatio was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us important background on Barcelona that enhance our experience tremendously.
Ties the Gaudi experience together from beginning to end of his architectural expression evident in these fabulous houses. The guide provided rich biographical and historical context. There’s more of Gaudi to visit than the Cathedral.
Horacio was such an incredible tour guide! His deep knowledge and enthusiasm for history truly brought our experience to life. It felt like we were exploring the city with a good friend. We feel so fortunate to have had this amazing experience, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys art and history!
Victoria was great and enjoyed the tour. Only suggestion is that she hold up a sign so she is easy to find within a crowd of people. Otherwise would recommend her as excellent.
Oriol was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and answered any questions. The Gaudi sites and exhibits were terrific.
Horacio was our guide, he was great, we loved the Gaudi houses, the only thing we might have preferred was a one on one experience with our guide in the homes.
This was a great tour, the guide was super knowledgeable about the history of Barcelona and Gaudi. I had a great time, thank you very much!
Very poor itinerary The most beautiful house was across that i couldnt go as it was only casa vincens and cas milo The first hour was wasted seeing the hospital The guide Orio was very poor He tried his best but the tour co was bad for almost 200$ i just got to see one gaudy house self directed I want my money back
Jennifer was a fabulous guide. The itinerary is well timed and paced. We saw multiple examples of Gaudi and other architects with fascinating descriptions of the history and geography of Barcelona. The tickets are provided for tours (audio) of Gaudi’s first and last houses. This is a great introduction tour that leaves you with a lot of ideas to go back and explore. Moderate walking and steps. Cabs for longer distances were provided. Very good value.
The opportunity to see inside two of the 4 houses we visited. The others we only saw externally which we could have done privately and some elements of the tour were unrelated to Gaudi houses some of which we had already explored. We would have therefore preferred to see at close hand more of his work as this was our most expensive tour.
Raphael was knowledgeable and adjusted trip based on our interest and needs. Enjoyed hearing more about Gaudi and the different neighborhoods in Barcelona.
Alan was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He shared so much information about Gaudi and visions for the houses. He gave us an excellent and detailed tour of the houses.
The beautiful architecture of his buildings. All of the surrounding buildings for that matter. The narrow streets. Our tour guide Victoria was wonderful, experienced and very patient, respectful and compassionate to our needs. We struggled a little on the long walk but she walked at our pace.
Paulo was amazing, great knowledge and excellent sense of humor, your was as expected Highly recommended!
Pablo was a great guide. Our first day in Barcelona, a perfect introduction We loved the Gaudi experience
The sites were spectacular. Our guide, Adriana, was excellent. She provided a wealth of information, made sure we were OK with all aspects of our tour, and answered our numerous questions with ease.
The Gaudi Houses are very interesting and beautiful, if one was interested in art, architecture and design concepts. It was a 3-hour long, walking and short underground train tour, between the Houses. It included walking in La Rambla, a long street with a shopping market of sorts, and many narrow side lanes with shops and turns. One should enjoy all the walking and taking in the vastly colorful sights and sounds along the way. It would have been better to include a short coffee/sangria break somewhere, with some tapa or muffin, to introduce the local culture somewhat, especially to newbies in town?
We had a great day in early Sept 2022 with Vicenta visiting several Gaudi sights around Barcelona. Our guide was over the top fantastic, our original guide was out sick so Vicenta contacted us about combining with another group and meeting a little earlier than scheduled. We were fine with that & Vicenta did a great job of managing the combined couples so they got to see their sights & we were able to see ours. Frankly, I think we got to see more than what we originally signed up for and saw things in plain sight around Barcelona that we would have never noticed on our own. Vicenta even gave us recommendations for places to have meals after our tour. Great job Vicenta!
Oriol our guide is a super recommended person, the explanation he gave us during the day was the best, his recommendations and typical during the tour are invaluable very friendly and with a lot of knowledge of the history of the city and Gaudí.
