We had a fantastic experience with Nico on our family tour of Barcelona! We were traveling with our three young children, and Nico was excellent from start to finish. He proactively reached out before the tour to make sure we could easily find each other, which made everything stress-free. The tour lasted about three hours, and Nico was incredibly patient with our kids while keeping everyone engaged. He is extremely knowledgeable about Barcelona and shared lots of interesting stories, all with great enthusiasm and fun energy. The time flew by! It was a hot day, but our tour guide did a nice job of teaching us some about the history of Barcelona while trying to keep our kids cool. The boys loved the scavenger hunt game during the tour.

We had an amazing tour with Victoria! It was a hot day and she kept us comfortable in the shade throughout the tour. We had children ages 3-10 and she kept them very engaged. We appreciated that each point of interest was very close together which kept the children motivated to continue. We especially enjoyed stopping at a playground to enjoy our churros. Our experience with Jennifer , our guide was awesome !! She was really able to engage our young 11 year old son over the 7km and 3hrs plus walking tour and we completed all the locations shortlisted . There was a good churros breaks in between to calm our tired kid . Jennifer is knowledgeable, entertaining and energetic ! While this is a private tour , it would have been manageable and fun too if 1 or 2 other families with kids could have joined us for greater interactions and fun !! Highly recommended , was the highlight of the trip ! Very engaging and fun !!

Sharon was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and very patient with our group of 7 that had people from 4 yrs old to 82 years old so lots of stopping for rests were needed. She knew how to spot the pickpockets to keep us safe. I would definitely recommend her.

The 'churros and chocolate' title is a little bit of click bait in my opinion, although that is a small part of the tour.

Patricia, our guide, was extremely accommodating. We got lost and she was great at communicating with us and patient with our schedule. We even turned up with 2 extra people! We learnt so much about Barcelona in a short amount of time. We hit a lot of the sites in the Gothic Quarter. Our kids, 13 and 10, got along great with her. The subject matter of the tour was appropriately geared to our kids’ interests and ages. My older son got a kick out of visiting the Caganer store (IYKYK). She was really great with them. Now on to the churros and chocolate. They were transcendent! She took us to an authentic shop that served these delectable treats. They were the best ones we had in Barcelona. Extra special bonus is that she recommended an exceptional seafood restaurant to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary. Everyone in our group agreed that the seafood was the freshest we’ve ever had. The restaurant was truly a special experience. All in all, I definitely recommend this tour with Patricia!

Our tour guide was so sweet with my kids. My daughter who is autistic always has a hard time with focus and running off. She was very patient with her and helped me keep her on track. My daughters loved the prizes when they found each landmark. And the churros with chocolate were delicious! Overall, a very good experience and I highly recommend.

This was a wonderful tour! Best one we have done with our kids 6 & 7 who normally don’t like family tours. Patricia was super engaging with them and they really enjoyed it. You get to see so many beautiful parts of the city but go at the right pace for young kids.

Great tour with a great guide. Would 100% recommend. Tailored to the individual needs of my family - was very flexible. We are vegetarian so we didn't get ham at the market, we had other options. Friendly, knowledgable, and personable guide that made my daughter fell at ease (which isn't easy)

Patricia was amazing! She was extremely communicative before the tour even began. She even provided several recommendations for places to go, things to see, or general inquiries I had - including sending me all the links via WhatsApp to make it easier to reference. She was very informative and kept my 9yo girls engaged throughout. It was a good amount of walking so it worried me a bit but my kids trucked through because they really enjoyed her (and looked forward to the churros and hot chocolate, 🤣). My one twin said, “I really liked her because she let me talk, even if sometimes what I was saying wasn’t about the tour.” That spoke volumes to me because it clearly showed that Patricia was invested in what she does and understands how to engage a younger audience. She let us go at our pace, allowed us to stop places to buy things from the market or shops, and simply didn’t rush us during our time with her. My girls enjoyed that because they were able to take in what they were learning about during the tour. It was like walking with a friend rather than following a guide. I asked my kids what they liked best about their vacation in Barcelona so far and even after 5 days in, they still said that she was their favorite part. Patricia did wonderfully and I highly recommend her.

This was a great introduction to the Gothic quarter and El born neighborhoods. Our guide Patricia tailored the tour to the interests of our two kids (ages 5 & 7). We were only able to book on a Sunday when la Boqueria market is closed, so Patricia pivoted and found us another place to have churros (for the kids) and jamón (for the adults). When the kids got antsy she stopped at an extra playground that was one of our kid’s favorite moments of the tour. Thank you, Patricia!

We didn’t expect to get as much history about Barcelona on this tour and see the wonderful attractions, it was lovely and our girls enjoyed it. Our guide Valentina was amazing, she was very knowledgeable, kept things interesting and fun. Valentina was amazing and super informative. She was engaging and made the tour fun and exciting for our 10 and 12 year old. We only had a full day in Barcelona and trying to get in as much as possible. This tour was quick but showed us a lot and covered so much history.

Our tour guide Zsófie was amazing. She was full of energy with a great personality, and made the tour around Barcelona extra special for the entire family -- ages 8 to 69. We were all entertained from the games the kiddos played to the fantastic sights and sounds of the great city. In fact, on this particular trip we had guides through Vigo, La Coruna and Lisbon, and by far Zsófie out did them all.

We had an incredible experience with Zsófi as our guide. She was flexible, energetic, and extremely knowledgeable. Despite the hot Barcelona afternoon, she managed to keep our four kids, aged 7, 8, and 9, fully engaged. We visited many wonderful sights, learned fascinating historical insights, and enjoyed fun games that captivated the kids. If you want to explore the city in a family-friendly way, I highly recommend this tour.

My family of 2 adults + 2 children arrived in Barcelona at 9am after a 7-hour overnight flight from the US. I booked us an afternoon tour allowing us the morning to shower & eat before pushing through the day to get us set to local time. Frederic was a fantastic tour guide, guiding us through the old part of Barcelona at our jet-lagged pace. The Iberico ham & Manchego cheese in La Boqueria food market was delicious as were the churros with dipping chocolate. We have already recommended this tour to friends who will be visiting Barcelona in the future!

Julie was amazing with our kids who are 6 and 3 years old. The tour was centered around them; We were on a scavenger hunt to find dragons and other monuments around Barcelona that was so fun and education for adults as well. Julie was a walking talking encyclopedia about Barcelona’s history and current politics. The tour was 3 hours, packed with fun for our group of 2 kids, 2 adults and 2 seniors.

Diego went above and beyond with us. He is very knowledgeable and was great with my daughter. We (the adults) learn so much from him.
