Family Friendly Barcelona Private City Tour

Our tour guide, Anna, was wonderful! We had an amazing afternoon and she kept our three children (aged 8, 10 and 13) engaged and happy the whole time. We felt so lucky to see so many special and hidden things in Barcelona that we wouldn’t have otherwise seen!

Philippe made our trip. He is such a knowledgeable guide, giving not only my wife and I but our 9 & 13 y/o sons lots of fascinating facts about Barcelona's history as well as the Catalan culture. My 13 y/o son had Fideuà as per his suggestion and loved it. My 9 year old can't stop telling people the difference between Japanese & Chinese dragons - 3 or 5?!? We all enjoyed a cup of the best hot chocolate ever at Museu de la Xocolata too. Overall, Philippe kept us all thoroughly engaged throughout the whole tour. Marcel overall was a great tour guide for our family. Our Barcelona city tour overlapped with our Gothic tour in terms of places and Marcel was able to pivot and show us other things that we had not seen. He was engaging with her 7-year-old providing fun games and challenges for her along the way and some surprises which made it easy to keep her attention for the walking to her. We took a second trip and tour with him the following day to Montserrat monastery. Going with him made the overall journey very easy to find the train, we took 2 different methods of seeing the monitor including the ventricular 1 way and the cable car the other. His knowledge of Montserrat was great. He again kept her daughter engaged and was able to take many family pictures on both days. 1 key thing which we appreciated is Marcel does not talk incessantly. He allows a lot of downtime to observe and really was great to be with.

Amazing guide. We had a wonderful experience with Federico. We couldn’t have toured the city without him. Very kind and patient with our large group and small children!

Sebastian is a great host! He gave us a very warm welcome and showed us places we would have never found otherwise. Cool stories and funny fact for the kids. All the food and treats made this experience fantastic.

Fiorella did a phenomenal job of keeping our kids (8 and 6) engaged with the history of Barcelona while also doing the same with the adults. If you have kids and want to know about what you are looking at while visiting the oldest parts of Barcelona, this tour with Fiorella is the best. We also enjoyed hearing what it was like to live in some of the neighborhoods from someone who actually lived there!

Hanna brought along spray cans for our children to paint on the graffiti walls. They really enjoyed this aspect of the tour. Hanna was very knowledgeable and friendly. It is too bad it was raining as we missed some of the tour. I wish Hanna had come up with some alternative plan. All in all, what saved the tour were the paint cans and Hanna's personality.

We were lucky to have Marcel as a guide. He was well prepared and knew a lot to tell about Barcelona, which we did not know already in an interesting way. The kids liked his explanations as well and time flew quickly. We got to know the “real Barca” through him and had a great time. We highly recommend Marcel as a guide for everyone who wants to see Barcelona not only from a tourist view. It feels like having a friend here..👍🏻

Fiorella was wonderful! Kept my 3 year old engaged and knew what would win her heart, treats! She made the tour great for adults wanting to learn and explore the old city with kids. She is very knowledgeable and would highly recommend her for a tour again!!!

Our Family with 2 children, 14 and 11 had a great time with Alan. He knows so much about Barcelona! He showed us different periods in buildings, pictures and stories. He is a really good storyteller and can answer every question you have about the city and its inhabitants. He showed us hidden gems. Our daughters really liked him. He is so very kind and friendly. Fiorella gave us a sunny introduction into the quartiers Gotic and el Born - thanks a lot for this wonderful and interesting trip from the sight of a local who lives exactly there! Even though it was not actually part of the booked tour Fiorella gave us great tips for restaurants and bars. And the churros were great! Thanks again for a sunny and relaxing afternoon, which our 13 year old daughter also enjoyed very much.

Ruxi was very kinda and extremely knowledgeable about the area. She was patient and understanding of our slower pace. The kids also loved her! The children had a great time! Ruxi tried to keep them entertainment and in gaged. She was a wonderful guide and I would love to have her as a guide again!

Our walking tour with Natalia was, simply put, fantastic. She is very knowledgable and friendly. Even though my children are a little older, she kept them engaged. The kids enjoyed it so much that they were expecting her to be with us all day! LOL. We can't wait to return to Barcelona.

We met Philippe early one hot morning in Barcelona. There were 8 of us, including a baby and an 8 year old. The amount of information he gave us was just enough to pique our interest, but not bore us with details. The child understood it all and the adults thought it was wonderful. It was as if we were talking to a long-time friend who was showing us his home. I highly recommend this tour for either adults or children. Although three of us had been to Barcelona previously, we learned a great deal on this tour.

We had a wonderful time during Jordi's Hola Barcelona walking tour! He is passionate and ready to share with you his knowledge on the culture and history of this beautiful city. He is a great communicator. He is very nice, accommodating and great with kids! Jordi explains the significance of each landmark and building with great patience. He has a treasure hunt for the kids to keep them engaged during the tour (age 4 and 8). He included a stop at the playground so the kids had a great time! He provided many useful local tips about food, where to visit and safety tips etc. Jordi answers all of our questions and he will look up answers if he is unsure. If you are interested in learning history and local culture while having fun, I definitely recommend Jordi.

We spent an awesome day with Natalia on a customized tour that included culture and FOOD! It was great seeing Barcelona through Natalia's eyes. She is incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her adopted city and was very comfortable navigating her way around and pointing out awesome details we definitely would have missed. The food was AMAZING!! We would absolutely tour with Natalia again.

Ruxandra showed our family parts of Barcelona we had not yet seen (husband and I have been before) and focused on the interests of our kids. Despite a cold rainy day and overtired, fussy kids, Ruxandra kept us engaged and learning about this beautiful city. She went above and beyond! We had a wonderful time during our family tour of Barcelona with Jordi! He was so informative and patient with our 4 kids. They really enjoyed the churros and the playground. The scavenger hunt looking for famous sights around the city was really entertaining to the kids. We only had 2 days in Barcelona and we were keen to book a tour for the family to get a feel for the city and some key landmarks. We were able to book Ruxandra on the day. She was the perfect guide, super friendly, very knowledgeable and was quick to engage the children with the treasure hunt (and our 6 year old little boy can be quite a challenge). We were on Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas in late August and while researching Barcelona found this tour...with much hesitation we booked the experience and now I feel sorry for anyone who booked through the normal Cruise Ship Shore Excursion desk. The one-on-one experience was amazing and "Roxy" was wonderful. She was extremely knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond to make sure we appreciate the city that she loves. Unfortunately we only had limited time in this beautiful city, but she made sure that we saw the highlights that made us feel like we will definitely be back! We interacted with my kids (age 11 & 13) and even made sure we had some time for dessert :) Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for this amazing experience, we look forward to working with you again! We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with Ruxandra on our walking tour. She was knowledgeable about all the sites and more importantly gave us insight into the everyday life of Barcelona. Ruxandra was fantastic with my 6 year old daughter teaching her a few words of Spanish and buying her a delicious (I had a few bites) dulce de leche churro. Overall a great 3 hours.

Philippe was a great host and made our tour of Barcelona and fun one. He was extremely patient and really worked hard at connecting with our kids. Philippe was wonderful. Warm and kind, made us feel like family. We appreciate his knowledge on Art and History, also tips and advice. Productive morning for time and all we cover. Definitely a more personal experience compare to following a big group with traditional guides. We customized according to our interest. Very thoughtful of him to take us to traditional desert. I loved the tiger area and the farm, plus the.zipline. In itself, everything they offer is very fun and very nice to live it.

Although for us it is already the third experience with Withlocals on the same day has been and we were already weakening a little, was able to give Ruxandra our full attention in the 3 hours with her Reclaim it. That as an older married couple in retirement we don't actually the target audience targeted in the call for tenders of these tour, she put it away with her left and we had after that on casual kind already good piece more about this living Experience city. We all enjoyed the tour with Ruxandra very much. We were with 2 adults and 2 boys (10 and 12 ). Ruxandra is very focused on the Guys entered and managed to make them stand out for the story Barcelonas have been interested! By the way, they still have a little Learned Spanish. With Ruxandra as an accompaniment is a beautiful day in Barcelona guaranteed.
