Marcelo was extremely knowledgeable. He made the trip much more meaningful. I learned to much about Dali’s work and life. I totally recommend.

Itinerary
Start this tour directly from your hotel or apartment in Barcelona city. We come to pick you up, so please be sure to let us know exactly where you are staying.
Figueres, the birthplace of Salvador Dalí, lies near the French border, at the foot of the Pyrenees and just 15 km from the Mediterranean. Walk with your guide through the streets where Dalí spent his early years, passing the house where he was born, and discover the town that shaped his imagination.
Dalí built his museum on the ruins of the town’s old municipal theatre, where he held his first exhibition as a teenager, and he is buried in its crypt. Recognisable by the giant eggs on its roof and its glass dome, it is considered the largest surrealist work in the world. Explore its rooms and courtyard, from the Rainy Taxi to the Mae West Room, and discover his most extraordinary creations.
Next to the museum, this permanent exhibition displays 37 jewels in gold and precious stones designed by Dalí, together with the original drawings and sketches he made to create them.
In the afternoon, head to the Costa Brava, a coastline of cliffs, pine-covered coves and fishing villages that inspired many of Dalí’s landscapes. Enjoy free time in one of its most beautiful spots to walk along the seafront, take in the views of the Mediterranean or stop for a drink by the sea before returning to Barcelona.

Great Experience! Noelia, my Guide, was so knowledgeable and captured the essence of Dali, the context behind his art, the relationships and how important they were as they showed up in his art. Noelia is lively, personable and friendly. It is a pleasure to explore and learn with her. Our leisurely time at Costa Brava, eating lunch in a restaurant on the shore was a peaceful and lovely way to end the day.
Michael was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and very funny. He told us a lot of personal stories and interesting facts about Spain
A great day, terrific guide, very informative and friendly. Loved our lunch and our after visit to the Spanish shore. All in all a wonderful experience.
My kids (15 and 13 yo) and I had an amazing tour with Noelia! She picked us up on time and was a safe driver. It was almost like a private tour as it was just us. She was very knowledgable of Dalí’s life. We definitely would not have had the same experience had we gone by ourselves. Her explanation of the paintings was phenomenal. She included my kids in discussions as well. Costa Brava was equally wonderful. We had a nice lunch and time to relax and take in the beauty of the Coast and Mediterranean waters. I became sick during this tour (nausea/vomiting) and Noelia was very attentive making sure I was okay and my kids. I soon felt better and enjoyed the remainder of the tour. I’m very thankful to her for making this day trip so memorable and for going beyond. We also had delightful conversations during our car ride there and back. Highly recommend.
Our visit to the Dalí Museum and Costa Brava was an unforgettable experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our wonderful guide. Noeli was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely engaging. You could immediately tell that she not only knew the history and facts, but truly understood the world of Salvador Dalí and Catalonia. She shared fascinating details and stories that made the museum come alive and helped us see Dalí’s work from a completely different perspective. What impressed me most was her ability to explain complex historical and artistic subjects in such an interesting and easy-to-understand way. Noeli was attentive to our questions, patient, warm, and had a wonderful personality.
Noelia give us experience for life she was rich with information and very fun and interesting facts we love it so much
If I could give Marcelo 10 stars I would. He was so kind and knowledgeable about Dali’s art and life. He gave us just the right amount of info and had fun stories. If you are a fan of Dali, you should take this tour. You will have a better appreciation for his art and thought process.
Gaspar was excellent. Very knowledgeable, friendly and flexible.
This was such an amazing event. The museum was amazing, the drive was smooth, the wait times were exceptional, and prices very reasonable. Our tour guide, Noelia, was SPECTACULAR! Not only was she super kind and easy to talk to but she had the sense of also being interested in our tour, which is not easy to find with a lot of guides. She added so much perspective into this whole tour and with her background of Dali that we could have engaging conversations the ENTIRE TIME we were with her. The lunch was fantastic and fresh with such relaxing beach time after which was much needed after the previous days of our vacation which was a LOT of walking all day everyday. This was my first time in Spain and I would not only return but also recommend this tour to any of my friends and family that would visit and would recommend they ask for Noelia! My husband said that this visit has been his all time favorite visit to Barcelona/Spain.
Fabulous day, guide was waiting for us at our hotel ,& it turned out to be a private tour . Her knowledge of Dali allowed us to learn so much more than had we been alone. The stop in Girona was beautiful w a table by the sea. Noelia was fun to be with & we enjoyed learned so much about Barcelona. Ask for her !!
amazing experience ,esp because our guide noelia was fabulous.I would do it again!!
The entrance fee was not included in the tour. Was not aware until the return trip and we own the tour guide for three tickets. I went back and confirm tour email and entry was not included. In my opinion if you are doing a tour entry fee should be included.
Such an amazing experience. Noelia's knowledge, of Dali and surrounding areas, exceeded my expectations. From an art museum to a coastal spot on the Mediterranean, this tour is a must!
Vincent, our guide did a great job of coordinating the day so it went smoothly, despite a major traffic issue because of accident. He is very personable and really knows his stuff. Ask any question about Dali or the area and he can answer it. He offered great suggestions as to where to go, where to change for the beach and what to avoid. He even taught us how to use our elbows, if necessary, to make sure we saw everything at the museum. Though the ride to the museum was long, the scenery along the was nice and it offered an opportunity for a quick nap. I would give this tour, and Vincent 5-stars all the way.
Miquel was great, ontime, super friendly and funny, awesome time, super knowledgeable, highly recommend. Has a new nickname....Mishka.
Noelia was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the region & Dali. Costa Brava was beautiful. The whole day was very enjoyable. Which put s
Gaspar was an exceptional tour guide and he was very knowledgeable en-route to our destinations from start to finish! Telling us stories about Salvador Dalí’s upbringing and life to information about the areas of Spain we were driving through. We learned a lot and couldn’t have asked for a better day. The Dalí Museum and Costa Brava were absolutely amazing! I cannot forget to mention how great of a driver he is, especially when we were able to avoid a traffic jam! I highly recommend booking this day trip with Gaspar!
Gasper made our trip to the Dalí Museum and Costa Brava truly unforgettable. From the moment we met him, he was warm, professional, and incredibly engaging. His deep knowledge of the city’s history and Dalí’s work brought everything to life in a way we would never have experienced on our own. He also took us to some fantastic local restaurants that we would not have discovered otherwise. Throughout the day, he was attentive, polite, and genuinely passionate about what he does. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide, and we will absolutely request Gasper again on our next visit. Highly recommended.
If you’re considering a day tour from Barcelona, stop looking — book with Nuri. This was hands-down one of the best days of my entire trip. Nuri picked me up right at my Airbnb door, exactly on time, and from that moment the day was flawless. We headed to the Dalí Museum, and I cannot overstate how much her expertise transformed the experience. Her explanations were engaging, insightful, and made the art genuinely come alive in a way that no wall placard or audio guide ever could. I walked away with a real understanding and appreciation of Dalí’s work that I simply would not have gotten on my own. From there, we made our way to the Costa Brava, where we had a wonderful lunch right on the Mediterranean — beautiful views, relaxed atmosphere, perfect. After lunch, Nuri took me on a coastal walk and revealed a hidden cove that felt like a genuine secret — one of those lovely surprises that makes a trip memorable. We also visited a charming medieval town before she drove me back and dropped me at my door. The value for everything packed into this day is remarkable. Nuri is knowledgeable, warm, punctual, and clearly passionate about sharing her region. She is the best guide I’ve ever had. Highest possible recommendation — don’t hesitate.
This place is jawdropping. Amazing set up and creatively curated. It has works from every part of Dali's life and it is set up so you can enjoy it easily. It's also in a cute little town that you can walk around in for a bit before or after.
Anatoli was an amazing tour guide. His knowledge of Dali was deep and well delivered. He had visited the Dali museum in St. Pete Florida where we live so we had a lot of discussions about the differences between the two museums. We had a wonderful day with him and completed the day with him to beautiful Costa Brava.
What a wonderful tour. Anatoli was punctual and so informative and well-studied. The information he shared was relevant and ever-so interesting. He is a subject-matter expert and always striving to learn more. The tour of the museum would have been a waste without Anatoli guiding us to the highlights with excellent explanations at each step of the way. He has a broad array of knowledge about the area as well. We would request Anatoli in the future. What a great day and great value. Thank you, Anatoli.
My tour guide, Nuri was absolutely amazing. She was highly informative but also very welcoming and truly a friend. The Dali experience along with the other sights and tastes were impeccable. I've been on many tours, but this was likely my favorite of all. I'd recommend this to other solo travelers, but also groups and children. I can't speak highly enough about my experience.
We had an amazing tour of Figueres, Museo Dali and Costa Brava with Nuri of In Out Barcelona. Nori was patient, knowledgeable and interacted very well with our children. We really enjoyed learning about Dali's life and work. Following the tour of the Museo Dali, Nori drove us to Costa Brava to Platya Del Canadell where she made a lunch reservation for us at a restaurant with beautiful views of the ocean. After the lunch we walked around the sea side and explored a nearby medieval village. It was a memorable day and we are very grateful to Nuri for the lovely experience! Will be back to visit soon.
Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Dalí Museum in Figueres and Costa brava if you are in Barcelona. It’s just 1and half hour drive from the city and it’s really worth it! Great tour thanks to Nury who was more than guide for my kids. They could enjoy the beach in Calella, one of the most beautiful fishermen village we’ve ever seen! Thanks a million!
Ask the guide about alternatives if the weather is bad. We chose Girona instead of Costa Brava due to big wind and we're happy.
We have been on many tours throughout Europe and I must say this is one of the best tour experiences we have ever had. This is thanks to our wonderful tour guide Nuria! Book this hour with Nuria you will not regret it. Nuria picked us up at our hotel and we then headed out to the Salvador Dali museum. Nuria explained what each painting by Dali symbolized. We both love art and without her explaining the meaning of his incredible art, we most likely would have admired his painting and walked away. Next we visited Costa Brava, had a delicious lunch, and walked the breath taken coast and beach. Next Nuria took us to an amazing mid evil village, were some of the buildings are from the 13th century. Alas, good things must come to an end with Nuria driving us safely back to Barcelona.
My friend and I had a wonderful time touring the Dali Museum and then exploring along the eastern coast of Spain. Marcelo could not have been a more perfect host. His knowledge of Dali was so helpful in understanding Dali’s contributions to the world of art which greatly enhanced our time and experience at the museum. Afterward Marcelo took us through some wonderful locations that showed off the history of the area, introduced us to a terrific little winery and took us to a beautiful town along the coast for a wonderful lunch. I felt Marcelo was totally devoted to insuring that we had a most wonderful day which was in fact, absolutely perfect.
Our first Viator experience. It went well and was easy to manage. We would do it again. Nuria was delightful and well informed guide. It is however annoying if Viator to dictate how many letters are used!
Anatoli was our guide and made our trip a wonderful experience. He is an exceptionally knowledgable teacher and enlightened us with insights beyond normal guides. Book this tour and request Anatoli and you will not be disappointed!
We had a five star experience with Nuri on our Dali museum & Costa Brava tour . We 100% recommend getting a tour and not driving yourself . Nuri was very informative about the art and life of Dali and his wife Gala. Nuri was accommodating and we felt very safe on our tour. We had a nice seafood lunch in Calella de Palafrugell and enjoyed the beautiful beach and rocky landscape. Lastly she took us to see a section of the breath taking views of the Cami de Ronda.
Nuri was an excellent Guide. She was friendly and knowledgable. by the end of the day Nuri was part of our family!! If you are looking for a great experience I would, more than, highly recommend Nuri!!
There are not enough words to express how wonderful of a day we had with this tour and our AMAZING guide, Nuri! This was absolutely perfect and what we wanted out of our day trip. Nuri made me interested in art and thoroughly appreciate the Dalí Theatre Museum in a way that would never happen going to it on our own. She had such passion and knowledge and shared it in an engaging way. By far the highlight of the day was visiting Calella in Costa Brava. We had a delicious lunch and spent time on the beach in a bay (cala) further out from the main beaches. Again, not enough can be said about Nuri and the time we had.
Nuri was amazing! My friend and I did a day trip from Barcelona to Figueres and Costa Brava and had a wonderful time. Nuri was such an engaging guide and we learned so much from her. I've been on many tours in various countries and Nuri is absolutely one of the best guides that I have had. Highly recommend!
Vincent is a great guide. Really loves everything about Dali the good the bad and the great. I recommend him. On top the beach excursion is very nice water was hot
Vincent was a wonderful host! So kind, knowledgeable and patient with us. He kept my kids engaged which is not easy in a museum. Incredible day!
Nuri, is truly a special person. Our family had an unforgettable day with her touring Dali’s Museum and Costa Brava. Nuri’s knowledge of Dali taught us so much and made our visit that much better. Our trip to Costa Brava was spectacular thanks to Nuri’s fabulous places to visit. Her joyful company and recommendations were a gift. Thank you, Nuri! S, D & K
We had a wonderful day with Nuri! She is an extremely knowledgeable and personable guide! We had lovely conversations!
It felt more like hanging out with a friend than a tour. We were the only two people booked on the Dali & Costa Brava day trip from Barclona. Our guide, Rodrigo picked us up from our hotel and was so lovely and thoughtful. Miguel, the Dali Museum guide, was funny and so enthusiastic, plus knowledgeable, which made our visit to the museum so much better than if we just walked around by ourselves. After the museum, Rodrigo to us to Palafrugell, stunning coastal town in Costa Brava. It was a wonderful day!
A wonderful day to Dali’s Museum and home. Our guide adjusted the schedule so we could see the home, because we had mistakenly signed up for a tour that didn’t include it. It was all spectacular!
Lovely tour! Xavier is one the best tour guides I ever had, knowledgeable and very friendly. We visited Girona and a nearby stunning seaside location, we really enjoyed our time there :) We also visited Dali museum which is fantastic and quite different from the other museums in the city. Louis carried out the museum tour, great and funny tour guide explaining a lot of things we would have missed if we went there by ourselves. Thanks for the enjoyable experience, I highly recommend this daytrip if you are visting Barcelona!
Perfect drive to the museum. The tour of the museum was detailed. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable.
What an experience, the museum is a whole new level of weird and genius, our guide Vicente was so good, guide us through the museum, how to look at the exhibits to read between the lines...it was just a fantastic experience, highly recommended
Rodrigo and Tala were excellent guides and very professional, courteous and informational. They made the trip fun for the whole family.
Guide Ventura was a great guide. He was very helpful and knowledgeable on the topic. The museum was amazing and the beach had a great view. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
This was definitely a worthwhile trip! Luis picked us up at our hotel and was a friendly guide throughout the entire trip! Having been excited to visit the Dali museum for years now, I was delighted with all of the knowledge that Luis shared throughout the tour of the museum. He also recommended a restaurant with air conditioning and DELICIOUS pasta after the tour. The car ride was air conditioned, clean, and spacious (we comfortably took naps while traveling to our destinations!). Luis was very communicative and helpful when we arrived at Costa Brava as well, ensuring we had places to change and great access to the beach. Overall, I highly recommend this trip and ask for Luis if you're looking for an English guide (or a Spanish guide, as he's fluent in both!)
Guide at Dalí museum was great. Very informative and intriguing. Costa Brava beautiful scenery and beach
The Dali museum was amazing. This museum far out shines the Picasso Museum. The Costa Brava beach is beautiful. The transportation was not good and the food was just so so.
The Dali Museum was spectacular and Mikel was great guide. He is very passionate and knowledgeable about and made Dali make sense!
