Great. Pappa Bear our tour guide was very kind and friendly. A lovely experience. Only thing was I should have eaten breakfast before going as no time to stop for food in the morning x
My Family loved this tour, all 3 of the places we visited were enjoyed. The first town was adorable and had great muffins (don't miss the muffins - peach was our favorite). The Dali Museum was fantastic, I easily could have spent more time there. And the beach town a perfect way to end our day and our trip to Spain. The only caveat I would say is it is a lot of driving - making the tour a long day but I'd do it again and it was a pleasure to spend the day with William; he is a great guide.
My sister and I took part in this trip as our final day of our Spain travels and we enjoyed it very much, overall. The value for the experiences included in a one day trip make it really worth it and we loved all of the stops along the way. We thought we definitely couldn't have done everything we did on our own in just one day. One thing I would advise anyone considering this excursion is that the trip is taken in a large van with three rows of seats - 3 seats in the back and middle rows along with 2 seats up front with the driver. Luckily, someone on our trip could not come but if they did, one of the pairs of 2 would've had to split up for quite a long bit of car travel. In addition, our tour guide talked throughout the drive providing interesting information about things. My sister and I were sitting in the middle row and could only hear bits and pieces of what he was saying at first, and eventually the people in the back began talking (I'm sure they couldn't hear the guide at all, so I don't blame them) and we could not hear him at all anymore. We weren't expecting an entire guided drive with facts and chatting but just something to note - the whole vehicle situation isn't exactly ideal. Our tour guide was a bit flighty, he missed multiple turns and drove around roundabouts several times repeatedly in our travel time. But he was a nice man and sufficient for the experience. We loved Costa Brava, Peratallada and the Dali museum was really interesting! Overall a lovely experience.
The Dali museum is worth the trip from Barcelona! The other stops were also great. Guillome our tour guide was also very knowledgeable about EVERYTHING!
Fabrizio was wonderful. He had great energy, knowledge of the Costa Brava region as well as Salvatore Dali. He listened attentively to our requests and was great with our younger kids. We nightly recommend him for a tour of Barcelona and other areas outside the city center! His English and Spanish were amazing!
Incredible day with Guilio seeing the beauty of Spain outside Barcelona. Great chance to have a knowledgeable guide bring you to the beachside and to Dalí’s hometown and theatre/museum. Such a full experience. Loved it!
All the three villages we visited were amazing and the Dali museum was a plus to an already beautifull day!
I made reservation for this trip a few days ago ( for me and my family). It was confirmed, paid and tomorrow morning we supposed to go. The trip was cancelled today ( I noticed my mail in the evening). No explanation, no apology , nothing. It’s very upsetting.
Guilio was great!! Super friendly and knowledgeable on all our stops. Had great suggestions for other places to visit and restaurants to check out.
Great trip out of the city to see a few highlights of the Catalan countryside with a small group of 5 people. Went to a beachfront resort with time for a morning coffee and a brief walk on the beach. Then on to a tour of a medieval village and a few quaint shops with NO pressure to purchase anything. Finally a visit to the interesting Dali Museum in Figueres with time for lunch on your own. Slightly over an hour is enough time to see the entire museum. Scenic ride up the coast on the way. Informative and personable guide. Highly recommended.
Our guide Rebecca was awesome! So knowledgeable and easy going. The whole day was wonderful from the Dali museum to the coast and the ancient village of Peratallada in between. Highly recommended!
Our guide, Fabrizio was excellent! The day was well planned and all went smoothly. Highly recommend this tour company.
This tour was a highlight of our trip in Spain. We are grateful for Julio for giving us the space to explore but we never felt unsure bc he’s so knowledgeable and gave us the insider tips! We loved this tour!
Rebecca was a wonderful guide. Full of knowledge ll, very friendly and professional. Highly recommend her.
We had an incredible day exploring Costa Brava and the Dalí Museum. Our tour guide, Mathilde, was fantastic—she explained everything in detail and made the entire experience so enjoyable. We had plenty of time to walk around and take in the beauty of each stop along the way. Highly recommended! Thank you, Mathilde, for such an amazing trip! – Denis and Denis Jr.
Spent an amazing day seeing the Costa Brava with William. He was so accommodating to everyone’s needs, and made the day truly special with his knowledge and stories about the towns we visited. Can’t recommend this experience enough. Getting away from the city to explore the beautiful coastal towns with a local made for the highlight of our visit to Barcelona. And if you’re a fan of Dali (or not), seeing the Teatro Museo Dali is an opportunity not to be missed. I only wish there was a longer tour with more time to spend at each stop!
Our guide, William was knowledgeable about Spain in general and especially knowledgeable about the Costa Brava area and the life and works of Salvador Dali. The natural beauty of the Costa Brava area blew me away. We have beaches in the US, but the view from the cliffs, the aquamarine color of the water and the gorgeous seaside homes made for an unforgettable view that can't be duplicated The Salvador Dali Museum is a must for any admirer of his work. The exhibits range from small paintings to room-sized works. I would say fascinating to study the work of the eccentric genius. We also had time to the visit the medieval village of Peratallada and make stops for photo ops roadside We enjoyed the local food and the company and recommendations of our guide. Moderate exercise, not strenuous.
Excellent tour of Costa Brava & Figueres with Fabrizio & Yiorgos! Beautiful coastal walk & unique Dalí Museum tour (tickets are separate). Wonderful conversation and lovely drive! Such a great day with these two💕
This was my favorite experience of my entire trip to Spain! It is a quaint and intimate experience- good ole fashioned strolling, enjoying, and good conversation with your group and guide. Each of the locations was beautiful and left a warm and special memory in your heart. The museum is also fascinating and absolutely a must-visit. Fabrizio was a fantastic guide and a wonderful person to spend the day with. Cannot recommend this enough!!!
We really enjoyed our day. Great being in a small group rather than a big bus load. We enjoyed talking to our guide on the journey and didn’t feel rushed at all. The medieval town was a highlight. Would definitely recommend this tour as a way to see more of Catalonia
A lovely visit to legendary places, with amiable and savvy Nando. He set the mood for scenarios dear to Salvador Dali. From a posh Mediterranean town to an artsy Medieval village, to downright outrageous at the artist's museum at his hometown in Figueres...I personally loved it.
Our guide was caring, engaging, knowledgeable and insightful. We really liked the medieval village, Peratallada. Highly recommend.
It's very good experience.. Mr. Dani is a great guide & person also. It's our 1st trip to barcelona.. he guided us very nicely.. just for him we experienced peratallada village which is very famous for it's local wine & olive oil.. and it's a beautiful village itself.
Awsome experience given by daniel and great information about costa brava. Also food recomendation was great by dani.
Really enjoyed this expedition - cannot call it a tour cause it felt like a friends' trip. Antoine was so informative, fun and friendly and definitely knew his way around to avoid crowds and bad weather and traffic. Highly recommended experience for those who want to avoid being a tourist and have a more intimate and authentic experience
We really enjoyed our time at the coast and the village of cut stone was spectacular. Our guide Fabrizio was wonderful and introduced us to each place, then gave us free time to explore. This included recommendations of local shops, which was very enjoyable. Fabrizio gave us some background information on the way over to visit Dali, which really helped to appreciate the museum. The time inside the museum was probably more than my family needed, as we didn't take as much time to study each piece, like others might. Overall, would highly recommend this tour.
Super fantastic trip! Antione our guide was wonderful, we saw so many amazing sites!! Girona was beautiful, Paratallada great sites, get a vermouth and sangria there. And lunch on the Mediterranean so memorable. Big thumbs up!
This might have been our favorite day in Spain! Fabrizio was an excellent guide! Knowledgeable and friendly. We loved the variety of the stops-coastal town, medieval town and Dali Museum. Highly recommend!
Dani is very knowledgeable and attentive to the small group of us. It definitely made our trip to Barcelona very enjoyable.
Our guide was amazing !!!!!Fabritzio was knowledgeable, kind and delightful. Rate him 1000% The villages we stopped at were delightful and the restaurant he recommended was delicious.
Amazing time. Beautiful scenery and Fabrizio was really amazing. Would definitely book this adventure ❤️❤️ The medieval village was beautiful, the coast line is breathtaking, the Dali museum was really cool to see. Fabrizio was attentive, funny, connected and knew his subject mattter. A really great time
Giulio was so kind and took us on an amazing trip through the countryside! I learned a lot and got to visit places I didn’t know existed. This is definitely an experience you don’t want to miss out on as you get to go off the beaten path. Highly recommend!
Loved the excursion. Nice change from busy Barcelona. Towns were quiet and quaint. Sea side village was breathtaking. Didn’t book tickets for Dali museum and was sold out but glad I didn't go to museum. Went to Dali house which was an interactive experience that was shorter and more interesting. Others who went didn’t have enough time to eat and see museum. Difficult to see three towns in one day but Enjoyed it nonetheless. Julio was a Knowledgeable and attentive host/guide.
Good tour guides, we met Guilio and Antoine. Wonderful trip to Costa Brava and the Dali museum. Stopped in a smaller fishing village and a small medieval town. Had a great sangria and vermouth with owner/maker of said wine based beverages. Our guides from this company were the best we had in Barcelona friendly and personal experience. Don't hesitate, their tours often sell out. And have a vermouth for me!!!
Daniel was amazing! I highly recommend this tour (or any tour with Daniel as a guide). He is a local expert equipped with many languages) that brought the culture and experience come to life. His personal touch is seriously a clear distinction above all other tours.
Amazing Trip! Learned a lot about the culture and the beautiful countryside of spain. Gulio was the best trip advisor. Next time in barca, count us in!!! Love Laura&Jan
Julio was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this very interesting tour of a beautiful region.
Our tour guide, Daniel, was terrific! We had a lovely breakfast by the sea in Costa Brava. What a beautiful area of Spain, not to be missed. Then we set out to Peratallada where only 50 people live. We walked through the medieval streets of this quaint village and tried the Spanish Vermouth and one of the best Sangrias we have had during our vacation. We climbed the tower to see breathtaking views of the area. Our last stop was the Dali Museum in yet another picturesque village of Figueres. My husband and daughter are big fans of the artist and enjoyed the collection of his work and the way the artist chose to display his work. Daniel had fun facts for each stop as well as during our travels to each point of interest. Even though it was a 10 hour tour, it didn’t feel long. Daniel made it feel like we were spending the day with a group of friends. I highly recommend the tour to visit these areas outside of Barcelona you will not regret it!
Danny was an incredible tour guide! He has a passion for what he does and answered every question that the entire tour asked him. He had a great knowledge of both the places we visited and Barcelona in general. We highly recommend this tour and Daniel as a tour guide!
Very personable and easy to talk with. Daniel had great stories and lots of fun facts about Spain, Barcelona, Catalunya, and more.
10/10 would recommend and great to have a Catalan translator! DANIEL CALLAU was super accommodating for all people on the tour which is not easy to do so slay all day
Gulio was an amazing guide. We had so much fun and learned a lot—the day flew by and we wish we had more time with him! Book this trip, you won’t regret it.
We had a delightful day with Julio and our travel companions. The trip was very thoughtful and well edited, a little bit of everything-quaint beach town, beautiful medieval town and the Dali museum. We were all smiling despite the rainy day. We highly recommend this trip!
Our guide was incredibly friendly and very very smart. Every stop was amazing and it was overall an amazing experience.
Daniel was an amazing guide who explained everything very clearly . Suggested us good restaurants and drinks on the way .
This tour was absolutely amazing and a must do! There was a perfect amount of time to see and do everything you’d like and it was a personal experience with new friends! The host was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Would highly recommend, was a highlight of my trip!
What a fabulous tour. Dani was a fabulous tour guide and I recommend this trip for everyone. The Dali Museum was amazing and worth the visit. Our group was so much fun and I am so glad we booked this tour. A+++++++
Dani did an excellent job explaining all of our stops while providing a personalized touch! He is friendly and enthusiastic. This was our second tour with this company and each experience was amazing. A great paced day trip with quick drives in between stops makes the day go by quickly! Cannot recommend enough!
I was hesitant to do this tour as a solo female traveler, but I’m so glad I did. Dani was a great host and immediately made us feel welcome and relaxed. Going in November was great because each stop was practically empty. Highly recommend
