Noelia was prompt, informative and we instantly connected to Dali's remarkable story, originating from a village by the sea, to international fame! She gave a vivid description of his passion for surrealism designs, that included elements of geometry, futuristic perspective and a genuine love of life! Dali was a man of many media, and Noelia sanz brought him to life on our day trip! 5 + stars!

Itinerary
Start this tour directly from your hotel or apartment in Barcelona city. We come to pick you up, so please be sure to let us know exactly where you are staying.
Reach Figueres, the capital of the Alt Empordà, where Dalí was born and returned throughout his life. Stroll with your guide through the town centre and hear how the young artist grew up here before conquering Paris and New York.
Dali wanted to leave a mark on his own native city and decided to built the Dali Theatre-Museum upon the ruins of the old municipal theatre. This present that Dali gave to the city is considered as the largest work of surrealist art in the world. Plunge deep into the painter's creative mind by visiting the museum and experiencing a comprehensive collection of the peculiar exhibitions. Get prepared to be amazed by this inspiring piece of art that will definitely mark your day.
Dalí Joyas is a permanent exhibition of the Dalí Theater-Museum in Figueres (Girona). The exhibition, which shows the jewels that Dalí designed between 1941 and 1979, includes the thirty-seven jewels of gold and precious stones from the Owen Cheatham collection, two jewels made later, and the twenty-seven drawings and sketches that Salvador Dalí made to design the jewels.
Continue the tour and drive through an incredible scenery full of colors, where the sea and the Pyrenees mountains collide. Arrive in Cadaqués and get enchanted by this picturesque little town, shaped by its emblematic white houses and surrounded by a colorful and relaxing landscape.
Continue your tour to discover Port Lligat, a small Spanish Mediterranean town in the municipality of Cadaqués, located in a cove of Cape Creus. Salvador Dalí was enchanted by the calmness of this village that decided to settle his own house in this magic corner of the Cap de Creu Natural Park. Get captivated by the beautiful natural light and the colorful landscapes that inspired the artist. We are pretty sure that you will not need the advice of your passionate guide to be able to recognize this house from far away. Have a look at the famous silver statues on the roof of probably one of the most peculiar house you will ever visit in your life.

Noelle, our guide, was great. Very knowledgeable, well informed, friendly, helpful, good driver, and, all in all a 10 on a scale of 1-10. Extra special drop off based on our needs. Thanks much!!
We spent a wonderful day with Noelia visiting the Dali museum in Figueres, Cadaques, and Dali’s home in Port Lligat. Noelia had plenty of information to share, hidden secrets to show in Dali’s works of art, and a fun-loving attitude. It was a day well spent!
Noila was very knowledgeable and passionate about Dali. She took great care of us, not only with her knowledge but making sure our needs were met. Between being able to experience the Dali museum with her personal guided tour and her then tid bits of information that might not be known by the general public, today was a day we will never forget. Seeing Dali’s house in Cadeques is a site to see ( hear, smell and see too) along the seaside bay. A truly wonderful day!
Our guide, Noelia, was a wealth of knowledge about Dalí, his art, and the area in which he which he lived. She did an excellent job providing us with details about key pieces of art in the museum and sharing information about his life on our drive. We felt really fortunate to have her expertise for the day! The museum and Dali’s home were both a fantastic day trip from Barcelona and we would highly recommend.
The best part of this trip is the guide (Marcel) and the Dali Theatre and House. The worst part is the trip was the transportation. Eight grown adults in a nine passenger van, some larger than average, some taller than average made for a very uncomfortable ride. Trying not to sit and touch your neighbor (some like to sit comfortably and spread out) was impossible. You will experience winding roads which leads to people leaning into each other’s laps. Leg room was at a minimum especially if you sat in the front middle seat. The air conditioning was awful. With eight people the van warms up quickly and if became uncomfortable very quickly. Overall the ride to and from (1:30 hours out and 2:30 back) will exhaust you trying to avoid causing discomfort to your neighbor. Consider the fact that the excursion is a small group and all might be crammed into an uncomfortable van, like I was, for at least four hours.
Our guide Marcelo was very frendly.I can’t praise him enouh🌝👍
Vehicle was too small for the 8 ( eight) people on the tour. Driver was great.
We took a deep dive into the wonderfully weird world of Salvador Dalí with Matt as our guide. Learned so much on this tour starting with a visit to the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres where Matt guided us through providing special insights into who Dali was. Next stop was Cadaqués, a beautiful beach town & fishing village before heading to Dalí's House in nearby Portlligat where we toured the house and garden. Only thing I would have changed is to have had lunch in Cadaques instead of Figueres. Loved this tour and loved having Matt as our guide - he was very knowledgeable about Dali and we learned so much.
Salvador Dalí experience. An enlightened journey through the life of Dali. Gaspar held our attention from the first world to the final good bye. The hours went by like minutes.
Gaspar is very professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the history and life perspectives of Salvador Dali. Gaspar gave particular care and attention to preparing his guests for the Dali experience. Gaspar is well organized and able to point out interesting facts and places along the way. He answered all of our questions with great understanding of and compassion for who Salvador Dali was. I appreciated Gaspar’s guided tour of the Figueres Museum, the visit to Cadaques, and his insights into Port Lligat. His service was impeccable and I would highly recommend Gaspar to anyone wanting a tour!
What a great day trip. Small group of only 8. Great hotel pick up and drop off. Mateus our guide was fantastic. His knowledge with architecture was an absolute bonus. We loved it.
The day flew by shepherded by the attentive, knowledgable, entertaining and considerate Miguel who conducted the trip with every intention determined to provide the company with - for me at least - an unforgettable realization of a fantasy since I first saw Dali’s “Christ of St John of the Cross” in my native Glasgow, Scotland in the late 1950s;. Now, in my mid-70s, this has been the fulfillment of a long held, but never thought realizable, experience. Thank you.
Dali museum was very interesting museum to visit and our guide Miguel made it even more enjoyable
Amazing! Miguel was the best.
Great trip and way to get out of Barcelona and into the mind of a great artist. Gaspar was an amazing guide, spent the perfect amount of time in the museum and highlighting important facts about Dali as well as Spain in general in route. Highly recommended.
Excellent tour, from start to finish. Our guide, Vincent, was very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly, and provided us with lots of background info and tips along the way. Great day and great arrangement. Strongly recommend.
Matt was exceptional. Communicated well before hand confirming pickup time and location and was very prompt picking us up at our VRBO. Very knowledgeable on the life of Dali and his impact on the art community and the world. The museum and Dali’s house were awesome. Definitely worth the money. Can’t say enough about Matt. Was one that the best guides we’ve ever had. Would give him more than 5 stars if I could!!!!
Matt was very engaging and full of good information and helpful
It was a delightful day. We learned a lot about Dalí and Gala and the region. The tour was very well planned. Our guide was very well informed and patient with all of naively questions. She graciously accommodated my wife’s slow walking so that we never felt hurried. Thank you.
Although long, it was a great day. Our guide knew everything we needed to know and gave a fantastic tour. If you’ve heard about Salvador Dali you will enjoy this tour.
All great starting from the pickup, stories on the way, recommendations. Well giided therefore highly recommended!
Excellent in so many ways. . Very comfortable vehicle. Excellent driver. Vincent, our tour leader, was a very good guide. He impressed us with his extensive knowledge of Dali and his times. A very nice man. Bright. Engaging. Good sense of humour. We enjoyed our time with him. Also notable. It was a small group with people from several countries. A great day, well organized..it’s a tour which We heartily recommend. Harold and Narleen Levy.
This was an all day trip from Barcelona, but well worth it if you are a fan of Salvador Dali. The scenery along the coast was also enjoyable.
Excellent excursion. Our guide Vincente was knowledgeable, personable and very accommodating. He made it a wonderful experience. Be certain to ask for him.
We were curious about Salvador Dalí and wanted to visit his museum, but the distance from Barcelona made us look into a guided day trip. We found this tour through GetYourGuide, and we’re so glad we did! We expected an interesting visit, but our guide, Vincent, and our driver, Joaquin, made it something special. They were a dynamic duo, keeping us entertained and informed throughout the journey. Vincent brought Dalí to life, helping us understand the person behind the art. He also shared excellent insider tips for making the most of our time at both the museum and Dalí’s former home near Cadaqués. We came away with a much deeper appreciation of Dalí, his work, and his place in the art world. Vincent and Joaquin truly turned a visit into an experience. Highly recommended for anyone considering a day trip from Barcelona! One practical tip: wear comfortable shoes and clothing for the day.
Thanks to Noeila who is our great tour guide, we really enjoied our trip. Noeila's guide was an amazing. We were drawn into Dali's world. Muchas gracias!
We had an Amazing day, visiting The Dali Museum, and Dali's home tour, was a Dream come true, I've loved Dali's work, for a very long time, what topped the day, was our tour guide,"Marcelo" He's the best, he's knowledgeable personable, caring, and funny, he makes sure, everything is taken care of, We loved him at first sight, he is truly an asset for the company, and "Marcelo", is deserving, of All the goodness, that can be given to him. He's an asset.
Marcelo was an excellent guide and the Dali museum and house were beyond compare! It was very interesting to have a peek into the private life of a genius.
Very informative. Needs larger more comfortable vehicles. Guide was friendly sometimes communication was lacking
Marcello was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and lots of fun!
Marcelo was so kind. Arrived early and waited for me. Excellent driver and informative. Enjoyed the entire day I highly recommend the trip especially with Marcelo
Our guide, Dolce, was very service-minded and lovely. Throughout the tour, she shared details about Salvador Dalí's life in a vivid and engaging way. Our driver, Wonder, drove us safely from destination to destination. A fantastic, comfortable, and exciting day out.
Loved the trip. It was a Dali day. Thank you, Miguel.
Loved the museum and Dali’s house. Miquel was a great guide. I would have liked to have had more time at the museum to wander around more.
This is a fantastic day tour even if you only have a passing interest in Salvador Dali (though it helps if you do). Our guide Noelia was very personable, but more importantly, incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Salvador Dali the artist and man. (“I love Dali” she told us). Noelia’s love of the subject was infectious and elevated the entire experience. The Museum and the House were fascinating to visit - a really great day.
I highly recommend this tour. Amazing museums and beautiful scenery made for the perfect day out. Our guide, Noelia was extremely knowledgeable and her passion for Dali’s work was infectious. Her connection to the culture of the region added depth to the experience.
Very good knowledgable friendly guide Miquel. A great experience! 5 star!
We learned so much about Dali. We have a new appreciation of his talent and work. Mancelo was a personable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. We had a wonderful day and well recommend this trip to our friends.
Great tour & way to access the dali museum & his house from barcelona!! The guide Marcelo was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of great education & context to what we saw.
Noelia was great about communicating on pickup (and was on time), very knowledgeable about the places visited and surrounding areas, and had great insight on hidden spots. She organized, made sure we had all of the documents needed, and made our experience seamless.
It’s a bit of a drive from Barcelona to and from Cadaqués and Figueres, but Mikel made it fun, providing info and keeping it light. He’s knowledgeable about Dali and gave a short informative tour and then left us to explore on our own. Both destinations are very cool with lots to see and learn. We were glad to have a tour guide and driver to do the hard work. Definitely recommend
Marcelo, the guide, was amazing. Knew a lot of facts about Dali and the city he grew up in. Very punctual and very informative. Would recommend!
We had an excellent and surreal experience! Marcelo was friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and efficient. The museum and house were very interesting - We would have loved more time to explore both, though we understood the time constraints around driving and traffic. This was a great day trip from Barcelona, which packed in a lot of culture, as well as being able to briefly see a beautiful coastal town. Thank you!
Great day with Noelia to visit Dali’s Museum and home. This was a fantastic tour and Noelia is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love of Dali. Yes, it is a drive out of Barcelona but was well worth it. The museum is amazing and Cadaques was another wonderful stop on a perfect day. Highly recommend - don’t miss Dali - you will have a new appreciation of this genius artist.
My tour guide today to the Dali Museum was Ms. Noelia. She is extremely well-informed, patient and has a virtually scholarly understanding of Salvadore Dali. I recommend her highly both for additional assignments and even more managerial responsibility. Please contact me @+91 9871428523, if you have any further questions.
Noelia was amazing - so knowledgeable and personable and an exceptional driver. The whole day was magic and I will be dreaming about it for a long time!
Amazing!!! Our guide, Louis, was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this tour to everyone!!! I know so much more about Salvador dali now!
Luis was an incredible tour guide! His knowledge in the museum was invaluable! We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Highly recommend!
The Dali museum was the highlight of the trip, but on the whole it was very much worthwhile. And Matt was a splendid tour guide. Five stars.
