An amazing day with Noelia as our driver and guide. She was very knowledgeable and great company. Everything went to plan and time, and would highly recommend her.

Itinerary
Start this tour directly from your hotel or apartment in Barcelona city. We come to pick you up, so please be sure to let us know exactly where you are staying.
Drive through the Empordà countryside to Figueres, the town where Dalí was born in 1904, near the French border and the foot of the Pyrenees. Walk with your guide through the streets of his youth and discover the places that marked his early life.
Dalí turned his hometown’s old theatre into a work of art in itself, from the giant eggs on the roof to the bread rolls covering its red walls. Inside, discover paintings, sculptures and installations that show every side of his imagination.
Dalí Joyas is a permanent exhibition of the Dalí Theater-Museum in Figueres (Girona). The exhibition, which shows the jewels that Dalí designed between 1941 and 1979, includes the thirty-seven jewels of gold and precious stones from the Owen Cheatham collection, two jewels made later, and the twenty-seven drawings and sketches that Salvador Dalí made to design the jewels.
Cross the hills to Cadaqués, a village of white houses facing a quiet bay, where Dalí spent his childhood summers. Walk with your guide along its seafront and narrow streets up to the church of Santa Maria, with time to enjoy lunch by the sea.
Cadaqués lies within Cap de Creus, the most easterly point of the Iberian Peninsula and Catalonia’s first land-and-sea natural park. Its wind-carved rocks and wild coastline appear again and again in Dalí’s paintings.
Step inside the house where Dalí lived and worked with Gala from 1930. Over the years he joined several fishermen’s huts into a labyrinth of rooms, each decorated by the painter himself. See his studio and his bedroom, where a mirror was placed so he could see the first rays of the sun before anyone else in Spain.

Noelia is a delightful, very knowledgeable tour guide. This was our first private tour and it was well worth it for us. She was a very competent driver and gave us incredible insight and information both on the trip to the Dalí Museum and in the museum, guiding us effortlessly to specific pieces and navigating us around crowds. Her enthusiasm is contagious! Her knowledge of Dali’s life, and in particular pointing out details hidden in specific paintings was impressive. Her explanations of Dali’s reasoning and intentions in these details really helped us better understand the genius that he possessed. The explanations of details of Dali’s life continued as we toured both Cadaqués and his Port Ligat home. Having her readily available to answer our questions as they came up instead of having to wait in a group tour situation really make a difference in our enjoyment of the day overall! PLEASE count this as TWO 5 star plus reviews for her because I also sent this link to my wife as Noelia didn’t have my wife’s contact info and my wife could not get the link to work! She deserves the second 5 star plus review!
Noelia was wonderful and quite knowledgeable.
Rodrigo was friendly and well organized, and made sure our full itinerary was expertly executed. From the Dali Museum, to the scenic drive to Cadaques where Rodrigo gave us a recommendation for a delicious seafood lunch at a seaside restaurant, to the tour of Dali's house, it was a full day of visual and culinary delights. I was left a little hungry for more interpretation and insight into Dali's artwork at the Museum, but we had so much ground to cover on the tour that the Museum had to be a bit rushed. But all in all a good day! Thank you, Rodrigo!
Marcelo was an amazing guide. Really appreciated his in-depth knowledge of Dali, which made the drive from Barcelona to the museum fly by. Also, Marcelo was very friendly the whole trip. His punctuality made the trip stress-free. Really couldn’t imagine doing the drive myself and trying to find parking near the museum or in Cadaques. Best to sit back and let the experts handle the logistics. Definitely would use this company for other tours in Barcelona, and would do this again.
Marcelo was our guide. He was early, friendly and very knowledgeable and informative. He shared all the Salvady Dali history with us. Air conditioning van which was comfortable and he drove with ease. We went to Cadaques and enjoyed a delicious meal, walked around, shopped and had gelato! It was a fun day with family and Marcelo. Highly recommend this tour.
Marcelo was fantastic. The knowledge of Dali could not have been better. We were blown away. What great memories.
Noella our guide was superb. Her knowledge regarding Dali was driven by a real passion rather than lip service. If you want to find more out about Dali then this is the trip for. Even my teenagers loved it!
The absolute greatest tour with Noelia! We learned so much about Dalí from our expert guide and got to see Cadaques from a local’s perspective. Couldn’t ask for a better way to spend a day and it’s an experience we’ll never forget!
Noelia took us out for the most amazing day filled with Dali, beautiful costa brava and great stories! We are already talking about coming back for another tour with her!
I had a wonderful private tour with Hengameh and drive Augusto on the Dali Triangle Tour (Figueres, Cadaqués, and Portlligat). The drive was beautiful and very comfortable. First, we visited the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, which was an amazing experience to learn more about Salvador Dalí and his unique artwork. Then we continued to the charming seaside town of Cadaqués, where Dalí spent many summers. Costa Brava is absolutely stunning! I had lunch there by the beautiful coast. 🥘🌊 Finally, we visited Salvador Dalí House Museum in Portlligat, which was fascinating and gave great insight into Dalí’s life and home. Hengameh was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommended!
Dulce, our tour guide and Wander, our driver were both AMAZING! Dulce was friendly, professional and made our day special. She explained information and details about the museum and artist, like a true teacher. Wander expertly drove us in a safe manner, navigating hairpin turns and busy traffic. We appreciated and highly recommend our tour to others., What a winning combo Dulce and Wander proved to be, and made it a fun experience.
We had such a wonderful time learning and appreciating the art of Salvador Dali. Such an interesting and passionate artist. Our guide, Dulce was so knowledgeable and truly inspiring with her exciting presentation of this famous artist. We spent an entire day with Dulce and our skillfully driver Wander, and they both went out of their way to make our day enjoyable! Many thanks to both these amazing people.
Learned so much about Salvador Dali! Our guide Dulce and driver Wander were wonderful. So kind and accommodating!
Our Guide, Hengama was a complete joy. Her passionate and incredibly insightful and deep knowledge of Dali, the context in which his work was made was so well presented I felt like I’d taken the most joyful art class I’ve ever taken. Also her history of the areas we traveled through. She and John Carlos were always on point, fun traveling companions and just great guides and company. I would glady tour with them any time. Thanks for the experience.
Amazing private full day tour. Our guide Hengameh was fantastic. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We immediately felt comfortable and got on well making the day great fun. Our driver, was lovely and we enjoyed his music select and helping him with his English practice. We had a great time.

The one-day trip to the Dali Triangle was exceptional! Anatoli from the InOUT tours was extremely knowledgeable about Dali as an artist, his life and his milieu outside of Spain but also in the small Spanish towns where he built his museum and his house. We also had plenty of time to Rome through the museum and the towns. I highly recommend Anatoli!
Very knowledgeable of material and kind attitude
This private tour to the Dalí Theatre-Museum, the Dali Home Museum and Cadaqués was easily one of the highlights of our time in Spain. Our guide, Hengameh, was exceptional—knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about Salvador Dalí and the region. The theatre museum can feel overwhelming on your own, but having everything explained—from Dalí’s symbolism to the hidden details in his work—completely transformed the experience. Cadaqués was absolutely charming. The time there to explore and walk along the water was perfectly balanced with the museum visits. Hotel pick-up made everything seamless and stress-free, and the private format allowed us to move at our own pace and ask plenty of questions. Our driver was friendly, efficient and provided bottled water. Highly recommend this tour if you want a deeper understanding of Dalí plus a beautiful coastal experience all in one day.
Anatoli is our favorite guide! He is knowledgeable, hospitable, and fun to spend the day with! The Dali tour is great for both the art museum and beautiful scenery along the costa brava!
We are art lovers and we're so excited to take the Dali tour from Barcelona to Figueroa to Cadaques following his career all the way back to his birth place and home. Anatoli was a knowledgeable, articulate guide and just a fabulous person to spend the day with. He led us through all the most important highlights at each location and made recommendations for lunch, rest stops etc. He took photos of us in different parts of the journey and kept us on schedule so we could make all our ticketed events.
We had a full day of Dali tour with Omid. He was very knowledgeable about Dali’s life. You will not learn much about Dali if you don’t take the tour with Omid. Highly recommended.
Best tour guide in Barcelona. We went through the coast in north and visited Dali house. He gave us detailed overview of the cities on the road . Best tour guide in Barcelona. Tour with Omid has been one of the most memorable part of our trip to Spain. An extremely knowledgeable guide with academic training in tourism. Extremely well mannered and accommodating. What a GEM in Barcelona. You will enjoy his tour to the fullest. Brilliant
Best tour leader in Spain. Highly recommended. Beautiful scenic views and beautiful Dali museum and house. We had 7 people, 2 seniors and a toddler included. They adjusted the tour to accommodate our pace.
We had an absolutely wonderful day with our guide Nuri visiting Museum S Dali in Figueres, his home in Port Lligat , and the town of Caraques. Our tour started at 8:15am and was over at 8:30pm. Nuri is a friendly, warm person and a knowledgeable and devoted guide who gave us a lot of interesting information about places, the artist and his creative work. We’re now fans of Barcelona ,its people and food ( Nuri also advised a local restaurant inFigueres where we enjoyed paella)! Thinking of a second visit , sometime in spring. Lots of thanks to this lovely lady and the great city of Barcelona for making our days there unforgettable.
The experience was the Dali museum trip. We were promptly picked up around 8 AM. The day was excellent. This of course was all due to Nuri our guide. We cannot say enough about her. Nuri and my wife got along famously and my wife praises her for all the detail she provided. Frome the car rides to and from, the museum, the surrounding area, Dali's home on the water. Having lunch together the day was the highlight of the trip for all we saw. There is not enough space to truly say everythng Nuri did to make our day wonderful, exciting and so much education. All of our questions were pleasantly answered. The conversation flowed between us for the entire day as if we were all family on a days outing. I can only say you have a true gem in Nuri. A great asset to your organization and to be sure if we are in Barcelona again we will request all of our tours with Nuri if possible. We will be telling all of out friends as they visit Barcelona to ask for Nuri. Great person and now a friend. Sincerely Paul & Luda Burns
Our tour guide Nuri was fantastic. She is very Knowledgeable and is a great story teller that made our Dali day trip more enjoyable. We opted for a private tour and we are very happy that we did. At the end of the tour Nuri gave us restaurant recommendations in Barcelona and Sevilla. She was a joy to spend the day with.
Amazing no-hassle tour across all things Dali. Very professionally organised. Well accompanied by our very knowledgeable and wonderful guide Ms Hengameh. Nicely driven around by our smooth driver Augusto.
Very nice tour. Our guide (Marcelo) was excellent. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Definitely recommend!
Nuri was very knowledgeable about Dalí! She spent a lot of time with us and answered all our questions. Highly recommend!
I'm really glad to have chosen this tour. Our guide Nuri was out of this world with her explanations about Dalí! I really recommend this experience that is more than a full-day tour. Thanks a million Nuri! A big hug from Virginia!
Nuri guided us on a private all-day Dalí tour that was truly unforgettable and one of the highlights of our time in Spain. The day began with a drive to Figueres, where we explored the Dalí Theatre-Museum. Walking through Dalí’s world was an incredible experience. Having Nuri as our guide made all the difference as she detailed Dali’s life and work which provided us deeper insight into his artistry and symbolism. After a delicious lunch, we visited Dalí’s House-Museum in Cadaqués. The home felt like stepping into his imagination. Nuri’s explanations helped us appreciate how the space influenced his creative process. On the drive back to Barcelona, we experienced a rainstorm with hail. Nuri drove with such calm and confidence that we felt completely safe throughout the journey. This tour was exceptional with its combination of world-class art, history, and natural beauty—all brought to life by Nuri —an outstanding guide who was professional, engaging, and personable throughout. Awesome Dalí experience with Hengameh, highly recommended. Very knowledgeable tour guide with a real passion for Dalí and his life and works.
Ventura was the best guide I could ask for. We knew nothing about Dali or his work before this tour. He was patient informative and very interesting. My wife was actually not looking forward to this tour when she looked up Dali’s artwork online but after Ventura’s thoroughly interesting interpretations she was hooked. We learned all about the man and his work while having a great time.
Must go on this tour. Ventura was very informative and engaging. He gave my wife and I a deep look into the world of Dali. We had no idea about Dali or any of his works and now we have an appreciation and an understanding of the man and his art.
There aren’t enough spaces for all the good things I have to say! Vincente and Joaquin were the best! We had honestly our fav tour so far in Spain. The Dali museum was wild and wacky and the kids loved it. The costal city Cadaqués was gorgeous and the Dali home tour more weird and entertaining. You really get to see some mountains and countryside. The tour guide knew every nook and cranny. All of the people at the restaurants and sights knew him. Even his lunch spot was delicious. Try the oxtail and potato’s!!! It’s like your grandmas stew but better. You can’t get a better trip.
The tour was OK. But for $850, we learned very little. You must consider tour guides who tell stories so that there’s more context for learning. We had the worst tour in history at the Salvador Dali Museum. That might not be Vietor‘s Fault, but the tour of the dolly HOME said nothing about really the stories in the life half the tour you have to walk around on your own with no way of learning about it. You just visually look at it. So we left with very little knowledge information on Dolly, except for a couple of objects that we pointed out throughout the experience. But there was no storytelling to understand the history of Dolly. It was a very short tour and the tour was broken into three languages so we got about one and a half to three sentences per room. Explaining the objects or the room functionality. So it was very disappointing. We love Dolly and we’re surprised how little we learned on this trip.
I have to base this review on the tour. This is a very good tour, if you want to learn more about Dali and enjoy his work, I would suggest this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and studied Dali immensely. He was passionate and as we toured the theatre he gave us lots of insights into Dali and his struggles. Then he drove us to Cadaques - the drive is not for the faint of heart, the vistas are breathtaking. We went the end of November and it was cold and lots of things were closed, but the restaurant that was recommended by our guide was really nice with heated outdoor seating (so if you are doing this in the winter - it's still nice). We then walked a bit and had a gelato and met back up with our guide for the tour of Dali's home. Oh my it is so amusing and Gala's "private" room, intriguing. The view beautiful. The collections and story enlightening. Highly recommend
Our tour guide, Ventura, was very knowledgeable and also very nice. The drive was very comfortable with a nice car and a nice driver (Ventura). We loved our time at the Dali Theater museum on Fugeres and highly recommend it. It really turned us into Dali fans for sure. We are happy we got to see the Costa Brava area and enjoyed the windy ride through the mountains to the Dali House. And, we enjoyed seeing the Dali House very much. However, after having done this, we both agree the museum in Fugeres is a must, but perhaps sometime in Genova vs the Dali House would have made for a more enjoyable day with a bit less driving - for both us and Ventura. But, we made that decision, so that is by no means the fault of this travel experience operator. We also did a day trip to Montserrat which was through In Out Barcelona and feel this tour group is excellent. We will definitely suggest that travelers choose In Out Barcelona when considering engaging a tour operator for experiences.
In our more than 15 years of travel within US and Europe, we have never seen a guide like Vincent. Before reaching Figures he gave us the life history of Dalí which turned out to be very useful throughout the whole trip. He caught on to my son’s history questions and our interest in the history of people, and was giving extremely useful and interesting information. While entering the Dali theatre museum, his brief introduction on the highlights turned out to be extremely useful during the visit. During the visit, we wanted to see other sites of Dali such as his birthplace, his school, death hospital etc, (not part of the trip) and thanks to his direction we were able to complete that also within our time in Figures. Our next drive was to Cadaqués and port Ligat to see Dali and Gala’s house and again his instructions/suggestions on how to be efficient were perfect. What was really important was that, in between the stops, he was frantically researching on the internet trying to answer my son’s questions. We never felt tired or bored even a single minute of the trip. His knowledge of other artists was also very impressive. He was also knowledgable about Dali’s artwork in St. Petersburg , Florida. He was also equally funny and jovial during the tour. We ended the trip with so much understanding of Dali and a new appreciation of surrealism. We will definitely use this experience when we visit an art museum next time. We would like to really thank Vincent and his driver for duh a wonderful and memorable tour, about which, we were talking about , the whole of next day. We really wish him well in his career. I don’t want to forget the optimum breaks we had throughout the tour.
I had this tour with my mom and dad as part of my birthday celebration and vacation. It was excellent! Luis our Tour guide is very knowledgeable about the Dali museum. Luis showed us the important paintings of Dali and thoroughly explained the meaning of the paintings that normally people won’t know unless they have studied Dali’s life and works! Luis is very professional and he definitely deserves a 5-star ratings! Highly recommended! -Harold from USA.
Great day spent with Omid! Excellent guide, highly recommend! Our Dali day was perfect, picked up at 8:30, spent 2 hours at museum, lunch in Costa Brava town and Dali house that was spectacular. Omid was so engaging and knowledgeable!
We had a great day visiting both museums in two different towns. It made the Dali story complete for us. We highly recommend this tour..
Everything perfect. Driver Wander was very kind, knowledgeable about the area, very professional and he selected an excellent restaurant and even per-ordered my food selection for me. The tour guide at the Dali Museum, Nick, was excellent. He shared so much knowledge about Dali's art and life and it was clear he is a true art and Dali enthusiast. As a bonus, Cadaques is an unbelievably beautiful and tranquil spot. A very enjoyable, inspirational and informative day, Highly recommended.
Nick was wonderful. His passion for knowledge was infectious. He showed us exhibits we would never have understood on our own while also encouraging our own interpretations. I highly recommend!
Luis was a very friendly and accommodating guide and we enjoyed spending the day with him. He went about and beyond with helping me with another challenge I had after our visit. Thank you, Luis! Our tour consisted of my group of 2 couples plus a family of 4 (8 total guests plus Luis). This is my only point of feedback... The ride is long so the van was a bit 'cozy'. Fortunately, we were a Saturday tour and traffic was light. If you can, I recommend a weekend tour. The Dali museum was amazing and we plan to return for another, more extensive visit. Luis is very knowledgeable about Dali and provided a lot of interesting history, context and theories about this enigmatic and eclectic artistic. It was helpful to have this background as he explained some of the pieces in the museum. I look forward to a return visit to Figueres!
Sonia was great and made the Dalí museum visit very interesting. Her English was great. The driver was on time and very nice. The car was a bit tight for 4 and I wish the driver spoke English.
Vincente was fabulous. He was friendly and professional. We felt as if we met extended family for a tour of his town. Loved his insight and accuracy of Dali's life and works.
