Costa Brava Tour: Tossa De Mar Easy Hike & Snorkel From Barcelona

We had a fantastic day. The hike was amazing, snorkeling was great and I loved the kayak tour. The guide was amazing. All in all just a marvelous day at the costa brava. I would book it again if I am back in the area!

This is an excellent way to see Costa Brava-Tossa De Mar if you want to explore a wonder just outside of Barcelona in comfort and with a lovely lunch included. Our guide Nacho was very knowledgeable, kind, funny and patient with our diverse group which included participants from young adults to older people from different cultures.

This is a MUST! We had a fantastic time exploring the truly breathtaking areas of Costa Brava and Tossa Del Mar. Nacho is a 11/10 guide, offering great conversation and photography skills. The small group format was perfect; we were able to make friends with others on the tour and truly enjoyed the opportunity to connect through the experience. Worth every penny.

We had a great experience with Excursions Barcelona for the Tossa +swimming/hiking tour. Tete was an amazing tour guide who was very personable and accommodating for our group. He provided us with a lot of history and cultural perspectives on the region while making the activity fun for everyone in the group. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to visit Tossa Del Mar and incorporate a light hike and some swimming.

Tete was an amazing tour guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. The coastal views are breathtaking. Lunch was excellent and restaurant was away from touristy spots. I would recommend if you are in Barcelona and would like to see the coastal areas.

Very lovely experience! The views were amazing and great to hike through with plenty of beautiful spots for photos and to relax and swim if you want. The tour guide is very kind and easy to talk to, and has both insights on the surroundings and is super encouraging and aware of your safety. You never feel unsafe or lost. The lunch is also traditional and very tasty! I went with a group of strangers and felt so comfortable and had so much fun chatting with them all. Definitely recommend! We had an amazing time and Tete was a great guide! We loved walking through the historic portion of Tossa Del Mar and hearing about the history from Tete. On the hike, he pointed out points of interest, plants, and the best views. The walk was not overly strenuous but there are a lot of stairs with uneven ground- was not a problem for us, but before booking you should be aware. There were opportunities to stay with the group and also options for free time to explore with clear designated meeting points. Tete was very flexible to the group’s wants and needs. There were opportunities to swim, jump, and snorkel. A few of our group members did so while my husband and I continued exploring. They did say the water was warm enough once you got in (in mid October). One of the highlights was the amazing lunch we had at the end of the tour. It was delicious, authentic, and it felt like we were having lunch with old friends by that time!

It,s my first time to Spain and Barcelona. I love hiking and outdoor activities. It’s great experience with Tete to explore the beautiful ancient Cami de Ronda coastal path. Though I cannot jump, but I still enjoyed the time when the others jumped into the sea. Tete is very talkative and share lots of interesting stories about the places we went. Hope I can come here again and explore more!

Our tour guide was JB and he was amazing at leading us around the city and telling us about the history of the town. It was a beautiful drive from barcelona and everything from sight seeing to swimming to lunch was phenomenal. Would highly recommend as part of your trip to Barcelona!!!

It was a dark and stormy day… and we all had a blast! Tete was the best guide! The drive up to Costa Brava was crazy with rain like you wouldn’t believe, and yet I always felt safe. The hike was beautiful, Tete had rain ponchos and a smile for us, and I got some amazing shots of the scenery since there were very few other people around. We snorkeled in two coves and I saw a nice variety of fish. And at the end, lunch was very delicious — I don’t normally eat much but everything was so amazing that it was the highlight meal of my trip. Tete also took great pictures of me (and the rest of the group) so I have lots to remember by. Thank you for an amazing time!

This was an amazing tour! Our Guide TeTe is not only very knowledgeable about the area and the culture but also a lot of fun! He has an incredible attitude combined with a joy and passion for people, life and all things Spain! The water is clear and refreshing! Do not worry if you start to get hungry! Get Herman as a guide he has alot of expirence and is very accommodating. Fun trip the snorkeling is cool. Also you get to go in a cave.

Everything was absolutely stunning! Our tour guide, Tete, was super kind, fun, and knowledgeable! He went above and beyond to ensure we had a fabulous, wonderful, safe, and memorable time! The sights were just breathtaking and the coves were some of the most beautiful waters I've ever had the pleasure to see. Snorkeling was so much fun, and the cliff jump (though terrifying for me personally) was incredibly fun and wonderful to experience with my friend, both of us challenging each other in different ways. The meal at the end was beyond worth it and just absolutely delicious! It was a wonderful day, with wonderful people, and I would happily do it again!

TeTe was our tour guide, he was so great! Very informative and took us to all the cool spots and the cool cliff diving spots! Would highly recommend this tour with couple and or family and kids as long as they know how to swim. So much fun and would recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our Costa Brava tour with Excursions Barcelona, and our guide TETE made it truly exceptional. TETE was genuine, warm, and thoughtful. He was courteous to all of us and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. I traveled with my sister, and we were joined by a lovely couple. The tour was set up in a way that allowed us to enjoy time together or explore on our own, as we chose. We saw beautiful coastlines and charming towns, with just the right balance of sightseeing, relaxation, exploration, and swimming in the gorgeous sea. The beach we visited was clean, the water was stunningly clear, and the temperature was absolutely perfect. We also had a delicious slightly inland meal at a beautiful restaurant, another highlight of the day. TETE made everyone feel welcome and cared for, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that truly enhanced the experience. He brought the history and beauty of Costa Brava to life with engaging stories, fun facts, and a clear love for the area and its natural surroundings. The van was comfortable and air-conditioned, and TETE even provided a great playlist for the drive. I highly recommend this tour—an unforgettable day made even better by such a thoughtful, and authentic guide.

Nacho and Chivito were awesome tour guides! They made sure we saw the best local spots while also giving us time to take pictures and get to know the history of costa brava. I really enjoyed the hike through the coast of the town. Not only that, but we also met great people in our group! We really had the best time with them, and even ate at a really good restaurant. Definitely recommend booking this tour if you want to escape the busy city of Barcelona!

This was the best day of our vacation so far! Our guide was Tete, and he did an outstanding job! I would highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting a taste of the Costa Brava that will leave you wanting more… This trip was easy for me to do; we moved at a light pace. I felt safe and fully engaged throughout the experience, Tete was concerned with everyone’s comfort. We met at small cafe. Tete was punctual. Our group was amazing and included a young couple from China on vacation, two friends from UAE that were visiting because one is studying in BCN for his degree, my daughters, and me. One of the things that made this experience so wonderful was meeting all these amazing travelers from different backgrounds with different careers and experiences that were so engaging and happy to share this experience! The ride to Tossa de Mar was just over an hour, but getting to know each other on the way made all the difference. Tossa de Mar was stunning and bustling. Everything your eye sees is a photo op. The town, the beach, the people, and especially the coastline. We did not have too long to shop (mostly because we were taking photos every ten feet … 🤭) but we did get a few free moments for buying goods and exploring independently. Tete also offered that independent exploration was available if wanted, so we had to opportunity to our own thing, though we opted to stay together as a group. Most importantly, we loved the light hiking, the scenery, and the medieval part of the town. S’aguro was our second stop and, much like Tossa, everything was a photo op. We stopped at the beach to change into swimwear and had a chance to lock up and valuables in lockers. Then we went up along the coast to beautiful vantages and hiked back down toward to beach, stopping to swim, snorkel, and cliff jump! After all that exhilarating activity we went to lunch at a quaint, lovely local place. The lunch was delicious and satisfying for all. We had bread, tomatoes, goat cheese, a fresh delicious salad full of vegetables, and a variety of grilled meats - beef, pork, and chicken. There were also grilled vegetable for two vegetarian eaters in our group. Finally we shared a variety of desserts. The day was so spectacular I would pay to do it all again! Many thanks to Tete and to our fellow tour mates for making this a glorious day! I hope we will all meet again - Dubai 2026!!!

I went with my sister on the Costa Brava hike & cliff jumping tour. This was my favorite day of my trip to Barcelona! The stops we took were beautiful, charming, and in the case of the cove, invigorating! Our guide Tete put the trip above and beyond our expectations. Not only was he fun to hang out with, but he also took a bunch of candid photos and videos he later shared with us. Lovely extra perk. The lunch we were provided was also one of my favorite meals. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely do either the same excursion or a similar one.

Phenomenal!! Safe, especially because I’m a woman traveling solo. Fun. Adventurous. Tete was absolutely amazing! Great balance between responsibility and freedom to explore. There is place for less as well as more experienced and adventurous people. I fall in the latter category, and Tete read me well and I could freely kayak and snorkel around the rocks. Very well organized!! Everything was according to the schedule. I highly recommend it.

A must-visit if you’re ever in Barcelona. You get a nice, easy hike with stunning views, somewhat private bay to do fun activities like cliff-jumping and snorkelling and a tasty lunch in a nice local restaurant all in one! Our tour guide JB also did a great job with providing insightful information about the history of the places and great recommendations overall for the rest of our Barcelona trip! Overall this was a 10/10 experience, strongly recommended :)

Would strongly recommend this day trip to anyone! The sights on the water are beautiful and its so rewarding. Our guide Sergi was so encouraging and friendly that it was great for us with no kayaking experience. He took lots of beautiful pictures over the day which meant we could just enjoy the experience. The cliff diving was so much fun and the little coves were amazing. After all of that we had time to wander in the town which is so lovely and calm. Thank you for the amazing memories!

Very fun. Nice to jump into the sea. It is hard to fight against the sea, but happy when we finally make it. And Tata and Blone helpa lot! It would be best if have shower.

Had an amazing time on the kayak tour in Costa Brava with Tete and Blondie! Great vibes, beautiful scenery, and the cliff jumping was the highlight even though I totally choked on water because I couldn’t keep my mouth shut. We even tipped over at one point, but honestly, that just made it more fun. Definitely a must do would do it again in a heartbeat!

We had a great time on this excursion! We loved our guides Blondie and Teatre (not sure the spelling 😅). They were great at directing us, showing us cool spots, answering any questions we had, and keeping us safe. This tour was a little tiring and we suggest to not have anything planned after so you can relax. The views were amazing and we would do this again!

It was one of the best and the hardest kayaking ever i did. Sergio and Tete was really gud with their skills and communications. It was a great experience to be on the coast doing Kayaking, Snorkeling and cliff diving.

We had a wonderful day in Costa Brava with our guide JB. We enjoyed his relaxed demeanor and his knowledge of Barcelona history and the Costa Brava. The castle trail above Tossa de Mar was fantastic. Photo ops at every turn and JB was so patient with our many photos and showed us all the good spots. After that he suggested a quick coffee break and then drove us to the Camino de Ronda and we had another beautiful coastal walk. He gave us an hour to explore the area on our own as well. JB gave us a choice of several restaurant menus and guided us gently towards what turned out to be a delicious meal as he knew we were looking for a quality meal and not a tourist trap! We walked a lot but it wasn’t tiring as the pace was relaxed and JB wasn’t rushing us. He really made the day a relaxing reprieve from busy Barcelona. Thank you so much JB!

We had an amazing time on the tour! JB was a great guide - very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and its history. The rustic trails were beautiful with stunning views of the sea and the castle. There was so much to see but we did not feel rushed and were able to take plenty of photos. We ended the tour with a lovely lunch at a local restaurant.

Jb was the best! Get there early and he’ll leave early so that you have more time to enjoy the beautiful views. He’s also very willing to take you pictures without charging you which was nice. Of course he has plenty of recommendations for what to do in Spain/Barcelona depending on your preferences. He knows all the secret spots.
