Gaudí is fascinating and amazing. Best to see his works in Sagrada Familia and Park Guell with a guide. There is so much interesting history and architectural insights to know.

With tall spires that seem to defy gravity, countless figures from both the human and natural world, the facades of Gaudí’s most ambitious project impressive and astound millions of visitors per year. Today, it’s the most visited building in Spain. Your English-speaking local guide, an expert in all things Gaudí, will share insider stories and anecdotes throughout your tour, truly bringing this iconic building to life. With “skip the line” access you will be whisked past the long entrance lines and straight into the heart of the Basilica. You’ll feel as though you have stepped into an alternate universe. Step through a heavy set of doors covered in hand-carved vines and find yourself beneath rows and rows of tree-like pillars that seem to reach up all the way to the heavens. Construction is famously ongoing and not estimated to be completed until 2026, and witnessing the this work-in-progress make us feel like we're part of history in the making.
Meet your guide at Park Güell, another of Gaudí’s most famous works. The architectural design of Park Güell is perhaps the truest testament to Gaudí’s love of and obsession with nature. The bright colors of his tile mosaics cover the walls, ceilings, and benches, with the well-recognized “El Drac” lizard statue being a must-have photo for any visitor. Marvel at the history and details of this wondrous outdoor masterpiece with your guide, then enjoy free time to take in the intricate designs and spectacular panoramic views of Barcelona on your own pace.

These are 2 separate tours with 2 different meeting points and guides. This could be MUCH clearer in the initial description so that travel plans to each location can be can accounted for. (Taxi access is relatively easy) Technically, each tour is a little over an hour and 15 minutes. After the first one, you can’t linger too much in your free time in order to make the next one. You definitely have time to stay as long as you want after the second one. Jordi was such a terrific guide for Parc Guell. He is funny, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and he clearly loves the Parc and helped us notice parts that Gaudí (and later others) used when constructing areas and the thoughts behind them. He made this 1/2 quite enjoyable. At Sagrada Familia, Olga E. was our guide, and she was fantastic! She is very personable, fun, and unbelievably knowledgable about the Sagrada. She made us notice and appreciate so many small details we would have completely missed on our own. This was a perfect way to learn about the church, its history and future, and would highly recommend it to anyone - ESPECIALLY after 4:00 as the sun creates magic in there.
I would definitely recommend this tour package, especially for solo travelers. The tourist guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and made me feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the trip. It was a great experience, and I would happily book with them again! Visiting the Sagrada Família and Park Güell is a must when exploring Barcelona. Both places were absolutely beautiful and made the trip even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Barcelona!
Albert was our exceptional guide for La Sagrada Familia. He was punctual and precise and advised of all steps we would be taking as a group through the cathedral. He also offered an amazing suggestion for a cafe afterwards. He felt like familia. Marta was our great guide for Park Guell. She took us through the amazing history of the park and shared with us many interesting facts. She was also instrumental in providing directions after the tour to get us to the metro.
Marc our tour guide did an amazing job explaining the east and west structures of the building. Detailing the Birth, the Passion and the Glory (still in progress) of Jesus Christ. Walking this tour on my own i would not have learned or understood Guide vision for this magnificent church. Was truly an amazing experience. This is a must.
Park Güell & La Sagrada have been on my bucket list for years. Jordie took us around Park Güell, he was funny & knowledgeable! Gloria was our guide for the La Sagrada portion, she was enchanting and animated! Both guides made the experience everything I could have imagined! Definitely take the afternoon tour to grab Golden Hour at La Sagrada, 100% breathtaking!
Great way to see the sights in Barcelona. Easy meet up and clear communication with the tour company
It was not made very clear that you had to make your own way between the two sites. Yes, it does say that it is not included but not obvious at all. And this is an important detail. Our guide for the park was excellent although she could slow down her comments a little for us to take in her accent. She was very knowledgeable, and full of enthusiasm. The Sagrada tour was disappointing as the tour guide had a very thick accent and the earphone quality was terrible. Most of us unplugged before the tour was over because we couldn’t understand her. She seemed very knowledgeable but it was difficult to capture.
This was a fantastic duo tour of the Sagrada Família and Park Güell. Both tour guides were very knowledgeable and polite. Both tours were about 1-1 and a half hours long. I would highly recommend this due to the reasonable price and interesting information you receive during the tour.
We really enjoyed the guided tours at both venues but the guide at our first tour (Park Guell) was late arriving, resulting in everyone just hanging around. She arrived and explained she had finished a tour at Sagrada Familiar and struggled to then get over to start our tour. Surely the logistics of managing the guides timetable should be looked at, if we had been late then sorry, no waiting for us/no refund yet we're all waiting and that's ok? That said the tour was great at both venues and overall we would recommend it. Our only advice would be to try and book the park in the morning (not as hot) and then the other venue in the afternoon, it was too much of a rush at the park then leaving in time to catch a taxi to the next one for 4pm. Not sure we saw this option when booking but that would have been so much better.
Our tour of Sagrada Família with Olga E was absolutely amazing! She was so knowledgeable and brought the entire experience to life. I truly can’t imagine seeing this incredible place without understanding the history, symbolism, imagery, architecture, and materials behind it all. Olga made us notice and appreciate so many details we would have completely missed on our own. Highly recommend her tour!
Olga E was fantastic! So fun, knowledgeable and high energy. She made it fun and impactful! Our tour went by too fast!
Great overview of Park Guell. Our guide, Naiara (sp?) was great. We appreciated her sense of humor. :)
Our guide Natalie was AMAZING! Very knowledgeable and informed! We really really enjoyed her! We learned a lot from her!
Our first time in Barcelona we wanted to know like The Sagrada Familia.and something else and Park Guell fill that second option. Our both guides Jana and Naiara where great guides to give us the full overview of each. Great experience
What an amazing guide! Issac was full of energy, funny but also informative. We had such a great tour, I would do it again... With Issac!
Olga E was amazing! Thank you. Fantastic tour Very thorough and informative tour and la Sagrada Familia is beautiful!
Wonderful experience enjoy the wonders of it all guide amazing and informative highly recommend this tour. Thank you 😊
Albert (Sagrada Familia) and Naiara (Park Guell) were awesome guides. Thank you both for a fun day! Sagrada Familia was beautiful and Park Guell was so interesting!
Julie was amazing. Funny, knowledgeable, and seemed to really love the subject material. It was a great experience.
Both guides (Inma and Julia) were excellent and the tour was very informative and impressive.
Phillipe was full of knowledge. He made our tour wonderful!
Perfect way to see both sites!! We loved both, the guides (Felipe showed us around Sagrada) were very knowledgeable and kind!! Definitely recommend going to Sagrada after 5!!
There were two different tour guides, one for each excursion. Julia was our tour guide for park Guell. We had such a great time. She gave us so much information on the history of the park along with amazing trivia. It was a warm day out but she guided us through shade and the coolness of the structures. She was incredibly personable answering any questions any of us had. We were very lucky to have a guide like her. She cared about the history and how she conveyed it. On the second part to Sagrada Familia my guide was Alberto. Alberto was incredibly passionate about this tour, it was great. He guided us through Sagrada Familia, almost symphonically. The light was perfectly timed to come through the windows as we moved around Sagrada Familia. And not to mention a hilarious sense of humor, subtle but funny. Pay attention through those ear buds. I lucked out with both, Thank you Julia, thank you Alberto for an amazing double tour in Barcelona. We beat Pope traffic that week!!! Nos vemos pronto!
The tour park guell and la familia sagrada was loved by me,fanilies, friends. The tour guides were amazing, professional, caring, explained all the details well.this combination tour is well recommended Thank you viator. Excellent job and tour
The Park Guell was amazing. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Catch a cab between the 2-tours. We walked and then missed connection at Sagrada meeting point.
The tour was great! Amazing tour guide Olga E. She was great with my 19 month old and made seeing La Sagrada Família an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect length for our toddler. We did the split tour and it went well cabs are available close by to transfer from the park to the church. Thank you!
Had a wonderful time! Albert was very charasmatic and knowledgable. As an Art Historian I was very thankful to get to learn so many things. Yana was charming and witty! Park Güell and Sagrada Família are def. worth the visit for first timers!
The tour guides make all the difference. Both Park and Sagrada guide were very good and we enjoyed our tour .
Well worth the visit! Our guide was Julia and she was knowledgeable and enthusiastic! I especially appreciated her knowledge of the Bible
Tony was great his knowledge and helpfulness was a blessing
Alberto was excellent very easy to follow and enjoy his stories
Guided tour of Park Guell really isn’t needed, it’d be more cost effective to walk around on your own. In hindsight, I would skip Park Guell all together. I’d recommend taking a taxi to the exact meeting point since walking there from the front entrance of the park (where the stairs are) is a TREK. The Sagrada Família tour was great. It was great to have a tour guide point out all the intricacies on the different facades of the church to understand their relevance and this would have been missed without a tour.
Very disappointed Parc Guell tour was to brief as we had to leave to make it on time to the Sagrada Familia. Should be better advertised. Tour guide at Parc Guell was not very informative. Sagrada tour guide, Isaac, was amazing. His joy for the basilica was engaging. Very informative and such fun. I would definitely do that tour again if I could have him.
Issac was a wonderful story teller and very knowledgeable. We had a great time on the tour and learned so much more than i expected. I would definitely recommend this tour for the Sagrada Familia.
Gloria was very enthusiastic, loved her delivery of information, so entertaining and knowledgeable. The pace was great and the chance to discover more afolter the tour ended at our own pace was unexpected, worked so well.
Our English speaking tour guides Julie (Sagrada Família) and Marc (Park Güell) were both fabulous. They each were well prepared and full of excellent information and insight on the respective sites. City Wonders provided clear meetup instructions for both segments which was crucial given the busy areas and large crowds. We got into both sites without delay and the audio system kept us connected to our guides without any issues. For our “on own” commute between the two, we chose to do a short walk and then a direct bus ride (V19) which took us very close to the rear entrance near the Park Güell meeting point. No walking uphill which was helpful given the extensive walking done during the tours. I highly recommend this combined tour to see these magnificent landmarks.
Fabulous tour of a Barcelona city (and world!) treasure and our tour guide Julie was exceptional. The meet up instructions were clearly communicated and so necessary at this busy site. The audio system to share the dialogue and keep the group connected amidst the crowds was effective. Julie is a passionate guide and well prepared on the topic. I would highly recommend this tour if you’re interested in experiencing Família Sagrada.
The tour of the cathedral was excellent. Our tour guide was very informative and imparted a real sense of the passion that went into the building of it. The second part of the tour was good in so far as the park itself. Tour guide not as good and quite frankly rude as she completely ignored me when I tried to give her my voucher for the tour. She made a point of going around all the other travelers and still did not turn to me even though I was right in front of her. Left a sour taste for me. Other guests also noticed it. Don’t know what her problem was.
Both guides were excellent, sharing facts and some personal observations. We were fortunate, the weather was perfect for our tours.
We loved the park and the church but were confused a bit. Since the tickets were sold together it seemed that there would be transportation between the venues. There was not. The 1st guide did call a taxi for us but the extra cost was unexpected. The guides were very thorough, and the Sagrada Familia guide was very respectful of the location. Would have liked more time at the park.
It was a 5. However getting to the Park after Sagrad Família was disastrous. Despite my requesting the proper drop off point our taxi driver deposited us several blocks below the main entrance. Once there we were directed to another incorrect entry point. We finally made it to the correct does it drop off point correct drop off point. We barely made the tour and my husband was too tired to proceed. We understand that wasn’t your fault, but it certainly affected our enjoyment of the second half of our tour. Julie at the sagrada at the sagrada was exceptional. Likewise was our second tour guide. I would recommend this with the caveat that the transfer can be complicated.
Our adventure was a combo tour - Park Guell in the morning with Nadaya and La Sagrada Família in the afternoon with Moha. (The walk between locations will also give you the charming insight to daily living in Spain.) Both guides were knowledgeable and personable. They kept us thoroughly engaged the entire time! Yes, one could visit these beautiful sites absent tour guides. But, you would miss out on interesting stories, shared adventures with other travelers, and most importantly, getting to know the lovely people of Spain. Don’t hesitate. Just book. Muchas gracias Nadaya and Moha.
Great and knowledgeable tour guides! Felipe was truly amazing! Park Güell such a beautiful place and La Sagrada Família is honestly one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen!
It’s a must it’s the most beautiful cathedral I’ve ever seen! It’s historic it’s powerful and definitely a highlight of Barcelona . Well worth doing this excursion and Felipe was a great tour guide
They should beware!!! You advertised it as a 3 hour combo tour for Park Guell and Sagrade Familia. You misrepresented the tour. It was 2 separate tours. We had to meet at the Park and then pay for transportation to get to the second meeting place. It was stressful. I did not know we had 2 separate meeting points until I read the instructions you sent the day of the tour. I started to get suspicious that we would be on our own to get to the sagrade familia. How can you say it is a 3 hour tour when it was 1 hour at each place. Why would you call it a combo tour when it was separate tours??? We should have just gone ourselves. We spent $250 for a misrepresented experience.
Both tour guides were awesome. A great way to see both places. I liked that we had time in between to spend extra time at the basicilla and grab lunch.
Had a great guide for the Park Guell tour. Marta was orderly, informative and professional. She was a lifelong Barcelonan. Later we met with the guide for Sagrada Familia. He was funny, warm, informative and kept group together and had amazing insight for the many aspects of the years of construction. The sound could be a bit louder but all was just perfectly planned. He was born in France but has lived in Barcelona for 20 years.
Sagrada de Familia was the bee's knees. It was everything we hoped for and more. Timing your visit is critical to get full advantage of the natural sunlight through the stained glass. 4 to 5 pm afternoon sun angle is best. Morning sun angle could be nice too at about 9 to 930 am. parc guell is not "all that" to us. There was too much work and not enough fun in seeing this attraction. plus we did not get to skip the line as there was a school group in front of us.
We loved both the Parc Guell and Sagrada Familia tours. The tour guides, Naiara and Philippe are very knowledgeable and know how to handle a crowd. Also, they are very professional. Five Stars!!
