A must see in Madrid. The Gaudi house is stunning. The architecture is amazing, like something out of a fantasy novel. The audio tour was so informative as well.

Purchased the night tour gold pass for our visit. Entrance was pretty smooth however that’s where the convenience ended. However, the house itself is very unique and beautiful and the cube was a must do! The interactive tablets and headphones were cumbersome and didn’t function properly. An employee stated that they have issues all the time calibrating. The drink that was included should have been poured down the drain instead and there needs to be more organization in that area. It was very crowded almost like they were packing in as many people as possible, slightly chaotic. Would recommend buying the cheapest ticket possible just to see this work of art and have photos.
Perfect with the audio guide. Such an exquisite place to visit right in the heart of a bustling Barcelona
My guide never showed up. I had to buy another ticket. Completely unprofessional. Never responded to my " contact tour operator texts " im getting a refund one way or another
We bought the Gold experience - and were surprised at home much we loved the interactive tablets and access to the roof, living quarters, and the concierge office. This was our second favourite attraction in Barcelona. The building was breath taking. Because of our ticket we walked straight in and there was no queue which was amazing.
It was great to have the opportunity to see one of the great works of "Gaudi" which showed how nature was his source of inspiration and imagination. We loved the audio explanation and the experience of "Gaudi dreams"
A beautiful house however so overcrowded either allowing too many visitors in at once it was very difficult to see things and enjoy it properly. Totally understand that visitors need to see attractions but so many inconsiderate visitors blocking exhibits etc there needs to be less in at once or staff moving people on
Purchased good package and got in a little earlier. It gets very busy, very quickly and hot. Take water. Worthwhile visit though.
I cannot recommend the platinum package enough. You get to skip all the lines, you get an iPad type device that is so fun to watch as you go through the rooms. The iPad shows you what it once looked like as well as fun tips about why it’s designed that way. Access to more of the house as well as a rooftop bar and photo op.
I booked the Platinum ticket so I could see everything. SO WORTH IT! Go early to beat the crowds. This masterpiece is just astounding. I loved going alone so I could just soak it all in at my own pace. The iPad provided was great to have for the added experience. Highly recommend! I spent about four hours there.
Way too many people admited, many looking at their screens. Mostly staying in line going through including waiting in line to go to the next floors. Surprising the fire marshall would allow this degree of crowding. A nightmare. We bolted at the end of the first floor.
Absolutely beautiful, about an hour is needed. Very crowded.
A Gaudi marvel. Exceptionally beautiful architecture. I recommend booking the platinum level as it gives a great audio/augmented reality guide through the property and gives access to some extra areas within the building. Be forewarned that there are likely to be many people in the building during the tour. Can be cramped trying to navigate through tight hallways. Still 100% worthwhile.
Casa Battlo is a beautiful site. Thoroughly loved the audio integrated guide and walking at our own pace. The only negative (and this has nothing to do with this specific tour per ce) was how crowded it was. We had to wait at times to go to the next room and felt like we were packed like sardines. That took a bit away from the experience - especially for the price paid.
Great attraction to see and great having prepaid tickets for fast and easy entry. The staff were friendly and helpful even if we couldn’t speak the language. Fantastic house
Lovely architecture and self-guided made us feel free to go at our own pace. I would just recommend that the audio guide volume be able to be adjusted or be louder because it was hard to hear.
Was absolutely amazing!!! Antoni Gaudí is brilliant! Mind-blowing detail, he is beyond his time with his design at Casa Battló and Sagrada Família! Highly recommended!!
Excellent experience with family
How can you not love the Gaudi masterpiece of a house?
Great experience. The smart auto audio guide was great. Easy to use. Gold ticket made it much quicker access
They were very organized and efficient and getting that many people through. It was beautiful inside and I thought the audio tour was great.
Fun! Awesome architecture! Very knowledgeable!
What a fabulous tour! We booked the 8:30am entrance ticket and it was so nice to get in before the crowds! Well organized and the audioguide included great details on the house and the construction. At times the audio cut in and out, but otherwise it was a great tour. The gift show was filled with beautiful jewelry and hand crafted items in addition to the normal tourist gifts. There are also night tours for a different experience. Loved it!
It was so crowded! I could not enjoy the tour due to crowding and jostling. By the time I got to the third floor I was trying to figure out if I could leave but it was impossible to go against the flow of the people. I am sure by occupancy standards in Canada for fire regulations this house would have far exceeded what would be considered safe. If there had been an incident where the house needed to be evacuated I shudder to think how many people would have been injured. But seriously the Gaudi architecture (from the bits I could see) is magnificent but not worth seeing from my perspective in that type of crowded environment.
Very interesting and great experience. The tablets with the explanation of the rooms was great. Lots of people but the lines kept moving.
It was worth the ticket price. In spite of booking entry at 8:45am, it was still crowded for October. The Casa was amazing and the digital show at the end was a wonderful way to to top off the experience.
I can’t believe this was actually someone’s home! It is stunning! I highly recommend going. The audio loir was good, although I think I would do a person next time. I think you could learn a little more. It is very crowed. I recommend paying the extra to see the furniture. I can’t say enough this masterpiece.
Tour was way, way, way too crowded. Self audio iPad. Did not give a single instruction on which screen item to choose and when. Too many people, people jumping lines, walking in front of you when you’re clearly trying to take a photo. Pick a different place and a different tour.
Got the gold ticket expecting to be able to get in relatively quickly and instead spent almost an hour in line despite paying for the higher-tier ticket. Once inside the house was unbelievably crowded
This was a convenient way to get tickets, and Casa Battlo is a must see! Only suggestion is know where to find the color of your ticket that matches the entry line.
Horrendous queuing to get in and very crowded when inside which spoilt the trip. The building itself is wonderful, but it is hard to see when amongst the overwhelming crowds.
An amazing architectural masterpiece totally ruined by crowds. Long wait for entry despite timed tickets. Once inside we shuffled round in a long snaking line so no chance to absorb the atmosphere or really take in the house. Audioguide worked well but I would have liked more information about the family who lived there and their life in the house.
It was just okay. Very hot inside the house and not really what I was expecting. The pictures make it look so much better but a walk by would have sufficed.
Extraordinary! Must see. We opted for the English language phone guide. The sound was very clear and we did it at our own pace. We visited some rooms twice and really enjoyed it. We had coffee and pastry on the rooftop, sitting where the owners themselves sat and enjoyed over a century ago and truly enjoyed the magical experience.
Booked early to avoid the crowds (as was suggested). Waste of time - crowded as soon as we arrived and absolutely rammed with visitors once inside. Essentially you are in a queue the whole way through the house, moving at a snails pace while all around you people are taking photos of everything and everyone. Completely spoiled the visit for me - bought a book on the way out so I could enjoy looking at photos of the house. I wouldn’t bother going again - simply overcrowded.
One of the best self-guided tours we’ve done. It’s a good idea to book an early tour. We were first in and had plenty of time to wander around without the crowds.
Casa Batlló is architecturally stunning, but the visitor management is a major disappointment. Compared to other Gaudí sites in Barcelona, this was an uncomfortably crowded experience. The main issue is that the focus feels entirely on maximizing profit rather than the visitor experience. They do not limit the number of tourists relative to the space, turning the inside into a chaotic, overcrowded market. Visitor comfort is completely sacrificed for crowd volume, which is unacceptable for the high price of admission.
I am sure that Casa Batlló is a Gaudi showcase but not when, as was our experience, it was so rammed with visitors that you could hardly move, let alone see anything of Gaudi's work! They really do need to restrict visitor numbers to improve the experience and for safety (as goodness knows how long it would take to clear if there was a fire)!
Our tour guide was knowledgeable, entertaining, enthusiastic and provided a great experience. The basilica was breathtaking a must see!!
This tour lets in way too manny people at a time. You are packed in like sardines making it hard to enjoy. Beautiful house and audio was good but not enjoyable. Halfway through the tour leads through the gift shop before continuing. They should limit patron entry
A must do when in Barcelona. Unique architecture; well laid out and easy to follow audio tour.
While this attraction is beautiful, we were very disappointed in that we booked a “be the first to see it” in the morning and when we went inside there were already tours of many, many people inside clogging up all the interesting points of view taking pictures of themselves and obstructing us from seeing much of anything. We ended up just rushing through the place to avoid the mad crush of tour groups. Definitely not what we expected.
We booked the earliest time available (9.15) in the hope of it being less crowded. It was busier than the Sistine Chapel. They really need to limit the numbers. It completely spoiled the experience. You can’t see or appreciate the beauty of the house when you are shuffling toe to heel with others. It’s such a shame as with just a few less people it would have been a totally different (and I suspect amazing) experience.
What an amazing place! Gaudí was so far ahead of his time. Tour had a little speaker you held up to your ear whilst walking through each checkpoint. Appreciated the style of the audio guide (part informative, part existential). Definitely, a must visit!
Line was so long. Waited 45 minutes. It was crowded. Audio tablet would not work. Not sure why I bought tickets ahead of time.
Do not go today Friday 25th Sept There are thousands of people there - queues are crawling and venue simply cannot cope It’s a nightmare
The platinum line was short and they even let us in 30 minutes early.
An extraordinary house with a very nice outdoor bar/café on the upper patio. Would like to have had fewer crowds and been able to see more of the home —maybe should have got the Gold level entry ticket for a few dollars more. I picked an 8:45 “beat the crowd” ticket but there was still a long line before I got in —about 9:15 —and it was very crowded inside. The gift shop is really overpriced. Still, I’m glad to have seen this Gaudí architectural phenomenon.
The house inside is tedious to get around far too busy to enjoy and thousands of people who take thousands of photos of each other with nobody to move them on In all not great value for money
I moved it, even though it was painful to go up so many stairs from a recent foot sprain, the experience was amazing.
