It was a fabulous way to see the city of Barcelona. We had a fabulous tour guide. He knew so much about the city. We are very blessed to have him showing us around..
Guide wasn’t feeling well and didn’t ask what we had already seen. I think we missed some things we should have seen. Also, guide wasn’t good at sharing information
There was plenty of room for four oof us. A great way to be introduced to Barcelona. Our guide covered a lot of area and allowed stops for photo ops. It was an extremely hot day, being open and coveted , we were very comfortable. It was fun.
My family and I took the advertised 2‑hour Barcelona Tuk Tuk tour on August 20th, 2026, and unfortunately the experience did not match what was promoted. Our original 10:00 AM booking was cancelled after we had already paid in full and we were moved to a later time with no compensation. The meeting point had no signage or staff, leaving us unsure if we were in the right place. Because we were a group of five, we were split into two tuk tuks. I was placed with non‑English speakers, so the driver had to switch languages constantly, resulting in limited commentary despite booking an English tour. My wife and children received even less information in the second vehicle, highlighting inconsistent quality between drivers. Several advertised stops—such as the Olympic Stadium—were not included, and other locations like the Gothic Quarter were only viewed from a distance. The website’s promise of a “stroll among medieval streets” simply did not happen. The tour also ended after about 1 hour and 45 minutes, short of the full two hours. For €215 (plus tip), the experience did not provide value, and I cannot recommend this tour at its current price point.
Great! Tour guide knowledgeable. Great driver. Spoke Well in English. Friendly. Place was hard to find ( meeting place) as It was mixed with the other tuk tuk tours
After doing some significant research on these tours and reading the reviews, I opted to do a 2hr tour based on the itinerary and the 16 x5 min stops and a number of drive by’s that were planed. The driver was running 20 mins late due to traffic and we finally boarded at 2.50. From there we had 2 stops, 1 x3 mins and another for 10 mins with a couple of quick parks. We also had an unpleasant experience with a speed bump at significant speed which made all 4 of us realise that she had to make up for lost time to ensure that the 4.30 booking was met on time. We arrived back at the HQ at 4.25 so she had completed her job. As a footnote the driver continuously complained about the age of the TukTuk, lack of suspension and power on numerous occasions. I don’t leave bad reviews and as previously mentioned and read both negative and positive and made my own assessment. In this case I made a bad choice. I understand that “things happen” that impact businesses but I have never had a situation where one group had to be significantly downgraded on a tour to ensure the next booking was fulfilled. While it did give us a snapshot of Barcelona the experience did not meet the itinerary and the issues experienced by the driver on the previous tour impacted ours so no - do your research better than I did - I would not recommend this.
Frederico with walktuktuk tour was amazing! We saw everything we wanted to in a very iunique open air vehicle. It definitely helped with the heat as we had a nice breeze!
Our driver was amazing. Full of information and went the extra mile to show us secret spots for great photos. Definitely worth booking.
We received a confirmation, got to the meeting point before time. Nobody turned up to meet us. Called the tour company and received a voice message in Spanish and no return call. Not even an apology!!! We only had 2 days in Barcelona and wasted a morning with this debacle . I am amazed that trip advisor would recommend such a company. I am not sure if I have been charged yet as I am still travelling. But i thought this was a very poor way to treat customers We will not be booking with trip advisor again.
We did a 2 hour tour on June 5th with Walk Tuk. Pick up was very near placa catalunya. It was a great overview of barcelona especially for first time visitors. The driver was a good tour guide with lots of helpful info. It’s not the cushiest of seats, but we did fine. Well done.
Terrible. We were only in Barcelona for one night and booked the TukTuk Tour to maximize our time and see the sights. We spent several euros to get to the meeting point. After 5 minutes had passed and no tour bus I sent a message via the app and was informed that our tour had been cancelled. We were not informed of this prior to our arrival and were highly disappointed that our tour did not take place.
Great way to see Barcelona on a short time frame! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, told us all about each monument we saw; highly recommend!
Driver was very knowledgeable, friendly, and allowed time for us to take photos. Saw so many things that you wouldn’t be able to see if you tried to do this on your own in just a couple hours time.
My friend and I loved this tuk tuk tour. Frederico was full of knowledge and delivered the facts with a relaxed air making it a really fun experience.
Fredrick was absolutely wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the entire route. What a great yep hours. Best driver we have had.
Great way to see the city. Dress warm and you'll have fun. Guide didn't share as much info as I expected of the city.
Pablo tour guide was very knowledgeable. Tuk tuk was not set up to see anything. Front window is to small and can’t see from any if the back seats. The top isn’t open so again couldn’t a see any attraction unless we stopped and got out
Our driver was sick and we had a last minute change but managed to have a great experience in Barcelona! Worth the money - learned a ton about this wonderful city!
Delightful tour of Barcelona highlights. Our driver/guide was a native of Barcelona with a love for the city that was reflected at every turn. This is a great introduction to a historic city and gives great ideas for places to revisit.
Pablo was a knowledgeable and fun tour guide. He lives here in Barcelona so he is very familiar with its history and sites that visitors would enjoy seeing. He gave us time to take pictures which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend Pablo to show other visitors Barcelona. If we should return, I would hope to utilize his services again.
Thank you Pablo for a wonderful ride discovering Barcelona!! The areas visited were amazing and beautiful. From la Sagrada Familia to the beautiful views from the top hills of Museum of Art Cataluna, the beautiful area where the Olympics took place, las Ramblas, park, and the history and wealth of culture knowledge. Loved Barcelona!
Bumpy ride. Driver guide knowledgeable. However the time was changed for us as well as the other people. Overall worth the time and cost
I would put zero stars, but it would not let me move to the next screen. We waited an hour and the tour operator never showed up. There was another group waiting with us and their operator did not show up either. We called and called and no one answered, except the aviator lady who then told us that they had gotten in an accident, we did not believe it because how would two of them get in an accident. It was very maddening that we wasted an hour of our little time in Barcelona and never got the ride. We booked it with another company, Eco Tuk Tuk and had a very good ride with them. Do not use this company called walkTuk
This was a great intro to Barcelona! Knowledgeable and considerate! Wonderful conversations and requests were honored!
We've arrived a little too late and the driver sad it's better to do the trip next day. But later I got the message, that this is not possible and we have no confirmed booking for the next day, so our money is lost. That's FRAUD!! Don't book this tour. Will try to get the money back with PayPal...
I booked this tour, paid $30 cab fair to get to the meeting point from my hotel. When I arrived at 9:50am I sent a message to the tour guide with no response. I saw other guests across the street being met by a different company. They looked at my reservation and informed me that I was waiting for a different company. At 10:10a I received a message saying the guide cancelled. Very disappointed and unprofessional. Do not use this company.
We loved the Tuk Tuk experience with Diane today. She was on time at meeting point and greeted us with great respect and care . Great tour to acquaint us and got to see most of Barcelona . A must for everyone !!
Great time , our driver Carlos very patient, good amount of places to see on the tour, punctual, knowledge about the places, great driver !!!
Thank you Diane! Super helpful friendly and knowledgeable! Would recommend a longer tour. As we o Lu did an hour.
Terrible, absolutely to be avoided! ABSOLUTE SHAME Totally inhumane and without respect for fragile people. Stay away! I booked a private tour with this company ( walktuk.com/barcelona/) to allow my mother, who is eighty and has serious mobility problems (she was traveling with a walker), to visit Barcelona without getting tired. I had specified every detail during the booking phase, also noting the arrival at the Costa Cruises port and choosing them solely because they guaranteed a guide in Italian. The experience was a nightmare from start to finish. The day before, I tried to contact them 50 times to get confirmation of everything, but they never answered me, not even by message, until 10:00 the next day. Once we disembarked, we discovered from the taxi drivers that the city was blocked for a big marathon and that the only way to get to the tour's starting point was by bus, then subway, and a bit of walking. Due to my mother's slow pace, we obviously arrived 1 hour late, but the company – which was well aware of the event – did not care about the problem in the slightest, nor did they warn us of this inconvenience that would also have affected their departure, given that the marathon randomly blocked the city until our arrival. As if that weren't enough, after just an hour of the tour, the tuk-tuk broke down and we were stuck for more than an hour in the middle of super busy avenues, even helping to push the tuk-tuk on foot to move out of the traffic chaos. The guide (who was also the tuk-tuk driver), after trying to repair the vehicle, then spent another half hour on the phone only to tell us to get out and continue on our own, thus abandoning us to ourselves. Neither he nor the company bothered to find us a taxi to return, nor did they want to refund us for the second hour of the tour (already paid), using our initial delay – caused by city events that they should have managed – as an excuse, as if they could have started on time despite the marathon blockades. We had to find a taxi on our own to finish the tour, spending another €70 to get my mother, by then exhausted, safely back to the ship. A major demerit for the guide/driver: although he initially proved to be good, when faced with the breakdown he defended the company instead of protecting the customer. I work as a travel agent and I will strongly advise against this terrible organization to everyone. They ruined an elderly lady's dream. A total disgrace!!!!
Very nice outing with sights around Gaudi and Barcelona. Definitely a good choice to quickly see something of the city and get an explanation.
