Barcelona: Sunrise Paddle Surf With Instructor And Photos

It was much easier to do than I expected, even on the sea. We had a lot of fun and got to see an amazing sunrise.

Watching the sun rise from the sea was absolutely stunning… something I’ll never forget. Definitely worth waking up early for! Seeing the sunrise from the water, at water level, gives you such a different perspective from the usual view from the beach or a boat. The team leading us was great. They made sure we all felt safe and kept a close eye on everyone throughout the experience, which really impressed me. I absolutely recommend it!

Honestly was second guessing on going because of the early wake up call, but it was absolutely worth it and might be one of my favorite take aways from this trip. The instructors were amazing and it was so relaxing and beautiful.

the photographer did not want to take photos of my friend and I. we got two photos before he said we were taking away time from the other girls in the group. at one point he shouted “who wants photos” and when i said i did he looked at me and pretended i didn’t say anything. granted other girls were getting multiple photos and told how to pose where i left with 2 or 3. he even carried other girls’ boards back while me and my friend carried our own. even snapped at my friend when she had a question. i already felt uncomfortable as the only POC there this just made it more discomforting

A Sunrise paddle on great Standup paddle boards ! Good fun, well organized by very nice people and highest quality boards and paddles by "Gong" who are leaders in the standup paddle board market.

It was great to start the day with such nice activity in Barcelona, the sunrise and the views from Barcelona were special. Be aware that it’s necessary to carry the board to the beach, but it’s a short walk and the exercise is part of the paddle experience, the guides took pictures and it was great to only focus on the activity and not worry about the pictures and our belongings that stayed in the lockers. If you are in a group, please, listen to the guide and be quiet when you arrive, it’s a neighborhood and people are still sleeping during this time.

The tour was extremely well organized. Our two guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. My 6 year old grandson enjoyed the event so much even though it required an early morning wake up call. Receiving the photos right away was such a nice touch.

Paddle boarding at sunrise in Barcelona was actually such a calm and beautiful experience. It was just one guy running it and he was really chilled, explained everything clearly and walked with us down to the beach with the boards. The water was peaceful and the sunrise made it all feel quite surreal. He took photos while we were out there and they came out looking so professional, like something out of a travel shoot. Definitely worth doing if you want something peaceful but still active while you’re in Barcelona.

Amazing experience with Eswell. Pietro is super friendly, well organized and professional so everything went smoothly. Local very close from the beach, so we can go to the beach in 2min walking with the board, the area is amazing and sunrises are unforgettable in la Barceloneta!! Paddling at sunrise gives an impression of time stopping, alone on a flat water with inspiring colors. PS: Eswell is always the first group to arrive on the water so chill moment guaranteed Will do It again for sure!

Kind, knowledgeable, and adapted the trip to various experience levels. Perfect sunrise or not, it is worth it to get out, be on the water, and connect with the Mediterranean. And hey ... when do you see Barcelona streets completely empty and get unique pictures? When you are walking to meet up for the sunrise tour! :-) If back in town, will go out with Eswell again.

I did quite a lot whilst in Barcelona, but this was one of the most memorable things. Very special relaxing at sea and watching the sunrise. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic! This was such an incredible experience! Seeing the sunrise whilst relaxing on a paddle board was such a lovely way to start my final day in Barcelona! Definitely worth the early start! We met our guide and headed for the beach, the waves were larger than I’d anticipated but once on they were fine although too big for me to attempt to stand, though some did. We caught a magical sunrise and our guide took some great pictures of us which he shared with us at the end of the trip. He also had som cool music playing on a speaker which added to the ambiance. Highly recommend- it was a great way to start the day and you can always siesta later.

What a dream, my boyfriend and I had such an amazing time! They have small cubbies to keep your belongings while we're at the beach and a small changing area. It's great and I would 100% do it again :)

Lovely morning on the sea with beautiful sunrise. Day prior you receive the time of departure, this isn’t 100% waterproof, but after contacting them we rescheduled the trip.

We enjoyed the sunrise paddling in front of Barceloneta. Boards and suits were brand new so we didn't get cold even if on March the temperature is still warm. Highly recommended!

Great experience. The instructor, Pietro, is a really nice guy and takes care of everything. A Locker is provided with private key to store personal items. Pietro explains everything on the beach right before entering the sea. The experience is breathtaking and is really worth the early alarm! Pictures with a pro camera are also included. I’ll be back!

We had an amazing time doing the paddle surf ! The instructor Pietro was knowledgeable and passionate, and the class was well-organized and fun. We appreciated the quality of the equipment, and the instructors' helpful feedback made everything so much fun and easy to do. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking to improve their paddle surfing skills and have unforgettable time!!!

It’s really nice to be there for the paddle trip even if you were alone, cause there were more alone people there so you could get to know new friends even. The sight of sunrise was amazing! You should never miss it. Besides the price was also friendly. Pietro and Leo would like to teach the technique of standing up on the board so done be shy and just ask. I tried several time but was still not good enough. But I did make progress during the course.操你大爷没完了，这个系统有毛病吧？！非要老子写满50个字符是不是有什么大病，不能有感而发吗？我特么英文写够了吧？还需要中文写毛线啊！

Excellent experience, something totally different. In addition the photos they take are expectacular. Just keep in mind that you loaded the board about two blocks.

Beautiful experience, Pietro is very helpful, always explains everything and has no problem providing all the help possible. He communicated in Spanish and English perfectly, took some amazing pictures and videos and finally shared a beautiful breakfast together. In a word, amazing! On my last stint in Barcelona I wanted to live a different experience, and I was researching for a while until I found Eswell. What a joy to have discovered: I went alone and soon felt surrounded by friends, watching the sunrise from the water, pure tranquility in this hectic city. Best paddle surfing outing we've ever done. They plan everything very well to make sure the water is calm for departure and you have enough time to see the sunrise and enjoy it. They're very anxious that you're well and comfortable. The experience has been very fun and the photos we have taken (are included in the price) are awesome!!

Experience good Coaches are also more patient and conscientious about safety. There are also photographers snapping great pictures. It was a wonderfully exciting surfing experience for me personally. A little reminder, if you're keen to see the sunrise, watch out for the day's weather, because if it's cloudy, you can't see the sunrise. This activity is worth a try.

Great experience, we left at sunrise, it was beautiful. I was afraid of being cold because the sea is only 14° but with the suit it is perfect even in the water. The sea is calm at this hour we really enjoy it. Thank you again.

The experience was brutal! Pietro is very charismatic and always made us feel safe at sea.We will definitely return this summer!! They also have other activities like yoga classes on paddle boards, sunrise and full moon outings!

I can think of no better way to start the day and contemplate the sunrise than on a paddle surf board. The totally calm sea, the group and the monitor (Pietro) made the experience excellent. 100% recommended, I will repeat.
