We loved the tour. It was interesting to hear about Barcelona's past and see some of the not so frequented corners of this medieval city at night. The tour guide was also very friendly

Itinerary
Built for the Universal Exposition in 1888, the Arc de Triomf stood at the head of the avenue that led to the main entrance of the fair, in Parc de la Ciutadella. The redbrick monument, built in the Neo-Mudéjar style, reflected the eclectic, decorative taste so typical of Catalan Art Nouveau in vogue at that time.
We are in the heart of the Sant Pere neighborhood, which, together with Santa Caterina, was a major center of commercial and textile activity from its origins. During the 19th century, the area was filled with silk and cotton factories and printing workshops, with more than 280 textile businesses operating between the two neighborhoods. Carrer del Portal Nou has ancient origins, as it once served as an entrance to the city from an old Roman road coming from France. In the 15th and 16th centuries, the street was lined with porticoes that supported commercial life, although most were demolished in the early 19th century. Today, only a few remain. The area, near Barcelona’s medieval walls, is also surrounded by local legends, with reports of mysterious apparitions seen late at night.
Sant Pere Square was once home to the Monastery of Sant Pere de les Puel·les, founded before the first millennium as a refuge for noble nuns. Repeatedly destroyed by invasions, wars, and fires, the monastery was rebuilt many times and briefly enjoyed prosperity after its reconsecration in 1143. Eventually confiscated and used as a prison, the nuns were forced to leave permanently. Today, the site is surrounded by legends of ghostly nuns said to haunt the square, unable to rest after centuries of suffering.
This narrow, picturesque street in the Born district was once known for selling real snow, long before refrigerators existed. People came here to buy snow used to cool drinks, preserve food, or make ice cream.
A historic, mysterious corner where the ancient Roman Road connected Barcelona to Europe, passing through lively streets and centered around the once-famous, now darkly reputed Hostal Flor de Lliri.
In Barcelona’s Ribera district, Plaça d’En Marcús is named after Bernat Marcús, a wealthy 12th-century benefactor who funded charity works, including a chapel and hospital for the poor and pilgrims.
A key historic spot in Barcelona, now a street of galleries and museums, was originally the 11th-century coastal path Camí del Born in the undefined Vilanova del Mar area, whose lands were later granted to influential citizens by Count Ramon Berenguer IV.
Passeig del Born, a historic and lively Barcelona spot, was once home to medieval jousts but later became a dark site linked to the Inquisition, hiding eerie legends beneath its charming facade.
Built between 1329 and 1384, the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar is a stunning example of Catalan Gothic, funded and built by Ribera’s residents, especially the bastaixos—workers who carried heavy stones from Montjuïc over long distances. Unlike Barcelona’s Cathedral, it belonged to the people, giving it special significance.

It was a wonderful tour. Stories were very entertaining. Only thing that would have made it perfect would be if guide returned us to the point we started from (arc de truimf)
I booked this for me an my partner for the day we arrived to get to know the area a little as it was held close to our hotel. Christina was lovely she told the stories really well. I wouldnt say it was scary but we enjoyed it and would recommend
I wish me and my partner could write a review but unfortunately we didn't even get to do it, let me start by saying we waited 30 minutes in the place it said we had to meet to see no one anywhere with a sign or even a person dressed in any way that would give us a idea. Then we rang the numbers we where given 10 times to see what was happening and where the meeting place was (if it had changed) the number went straight to voice mail. If I was you don't buy this tour as its a complete con and if we had known we wouldn't have booked it. No one showed up, no one tryed to ring us back and we are very unhappy and would love all our money back but guess what u have to cancel 20 something hours defore to get a full refund what a complete con. DO NOT BOOK 😡😡😡
I love ghost tours and try to find one in every city I am visiting! This was a wonderful way to see the sights and learn some of the legends of Barcelona. Our tour guide was an AMAZING and very animated story teller. I was on the English/Spanish tour and her transition between the two languages made the stories even more captivating. We had a large group, which was fine for the most part, but would have preferred a group . of maybe 8 max.
The tour guide was excellent and made the tour fun! We enjoyed the stories and sights. If you like to hear stories and see that side of a city this is the tour for you.
This was one of the best tours I did when I was in barcelona. It was really informative and fun at the same time. The guide, Christina was beyond amazing. She knew her history and took us to places in the city you ordinarily wouldn't go. She created great ambience and included everyone in her story telling. The best was when she took us to a place in the quarter where you could spot remnants of the story that took place. Did this solo and it was fine. Loved every minute of it

Very amazing tour. Highly recommend. You will see the city without feeling like a tourist.

The tour was OK. I have to say that it was our last night at Barcelona 7 night total so we do know a bit of the place. Some story was very good. OK tour to do by night.

This was more a history tour, not anything scary but a lot of interesting folk lore and legends. You do get to walk in real interesting sections of Barcelona that you would not ordinarily see and try to keep tract of where you are because it is fun to go back the next day and see all the small shops that are tucked along these narrow streets. Guide was excellant.

Guide needs to be better story teller, to create more drama and suspense.

It was good. I cannot say too scary especially at 7:30 the sun is still out for a bit. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable and I like to see thee back areas of the gothic quarter of Barcelona and here some of the history of it. This is a nice tour to take while in Barcelona.

There should be an opportunity to stop for coffee or a bathroom break in the middle. It would also be more interesting to visit sites of allegedly paranormal activity that come from more recent times than the Middle Ages.

This was a fun walking tour. The guide was quite good, informative and told many stories and legends.
Beware that the tour takes you through small narrow streets and the cobblestones could pose problems for those with walking issues.
We had no problem finding the meeting point at the Arc d'Triomph. This is a monument in a very large square but the guide holds a red umbrella and can be seen clearly she was right under the Arc! The guide was careful and ensured we all stayed together we crossed many streets and as we were quite a few in the tour, getting separated could happen easily.
We found the tour interesting and entertaining and recommend it.... its good value for money.

We enjoyed the tour - it was a great way to see different parts of the City. Christina the tour guide was excellent. The tour was based on myths and legends from different areas of Barcelona rather than mega scary ghost stories but Christina delivered them very well. Would recommend!!!

Christina I think I have her name correct, our guide was great! The information and historical content great. Unfortunately, their are no ghosts in Barcelona. They must have left with the French!

Loved it. Not only was the tour guide incredibly captivating even if she specifically said that certain stories were more myths than real, but we got to visit the backstreets of Barcelona, the non-touristy areas where the locals seemed to hang out and eat and live. I only wish the tour was longer, the time flew because I was having so much fun!

The tour guide didn't show up so we had no ghost tour. It was a terrible experience. No one answered the phone numbers provided. We waited and waited and no one showed up. A very disappointing part of our trip.

Our tour guide Christina maybe? was amazing!! The stories weren't that scary but her story telling skills were on point! She kept us interested and was very fun and knowledgable to talk to in between getting places. The stories weren't conventionally scary but mostly like wives tales. I would recommend this tour for anyone interested in seeing the town at night and hearing some fun stories.

Good time. Good tour. Friendly tour guide. Saw and experienced things we never would have otherwise. Highly recommend!

Well done. We very much enjoyed the tour and the guide was excellent!

The tour was just ok. For the price its a fine way to walk around and get to know places in the gothic area of Barcelona. I think that what made it seem not worthy was that we booked it in spanish and a couple of people booked it in english so we had to hear the stories twice. This was a BIG mistake from your company, just imagine listening to a story twice and having to wait standing in the same spot when you want to keep moving.

This tour was a walk to 4 sectors of the city with a ghost story attached to each. The guide was a great story teller, it was a nice night, but no real ghosts. It was a fun tour for me and 17 year old son.

The tour was done as a bilingual tour. There were 40 people on the tour and it would have worked much better to do it as two tours - Spanish and English. It was difficult to main the atmosphere when you were only getting snippets of the story. The tour was two hours and could have been done as 2 1- hour tours and the experience would have been much better. Doing as two one hour tours the guide could have built more atmosphere. The saving grace of the tour was the places we went.

Not spooky or historical. Our guide was friendly and performed bilingual throughout, which added flair. I wouldn't recommend it.

Interesting stories and a chance to see some of the areas of Barcelona at night

The tour guide was quite good and the route that we explored was interesting. In spite of living in Barcelona for more than a year, there were places that I just found through this tour.

Great experience , enjoyed my everyone great tour guide xxx

Christina was great and very enthusiastic and captivating. Good Night Walk.

This tour took us into areas of Barcelona we would have not otherwise gone. The time went extremely quickly and the tour was both interesting and spooky! The tour guide spoke very good english and made us feel very welcome. Despite having a mixed language group, she made she everyone knew what was being said. I would highly recommend it..but go on the last night or you will be too scared to go out again after!

Guide was great storyteller and we enjoyed walking the back alleys of Barcelona at night. Nothing really spooky but fun!

The ghost portion was just OK, but the walk through the city was fabulous. I would have preferred the tour without the ghost portion.

We had a lot of fun. Walked through parts of Barcelona we would not have otherwise seen, met other travellers in an enjoyable atmosphere.

I didn't like it very much.I was waitning more suspense and there wasn't.The tour guide was nice but the tour wasn't interesting as I thought

Started late and ended early. The guides came late too, but they were good.

Average tour. We've done ghost walks all over the world and this one was fairly average. However the walk around the city at night was gorgeous - take a camera that can do some nice night shots.

This tour was very disappointing.
It did not get off to a good start when the tour guide announced that she did not know much about ghosts !
The tour was advertised to be in English however it ended up bi lingual therefore after each story in English it was repeated in Spanish ! We persevered for 1/2 hour then gave up.
Don't waste your money on this one.

Neat way to see parts of Barcelona that even the locals do not know about. Tour was in Spanish and English so some of the suspense was lost having to wait for the guide to go back and forth from English to Spanish. Really interesting tour. Super tour guide. Highly recommend this tour.

Great guide and interesting walk, very much enjoyed my 2 daughters aged 12 and 10 especially

Very nice way to discover Barcelona. The visite was bilonguale = spanish and english. The guide was so interesting. I did two haunted tour in my own city in Ottawa and I rate this ghost walk a 4 out of five just because of the noise that the city have. Its a factor that I think, can't b change... But the reste was so intriguing. To do this tour, you got to love listing to stories and have a bit of imagination... Go back in your childhood, went you listen people tell you scary stories :)

LOVED IT!

The tour was awesome. Went to places in Barcelona that I would have never seen if it wasn't for the tour. I did like the fact that the tour guide did the tour both in Spanish and English.

Our tour guide was excellent and the stories were interesting. Had a great time on this tour.

It was a cold and rainy night... Perfect for a "ghost tour"!! Our guide was knowledgeable and entertained us with great stories and history of the city. Well done!!

Unfortunately it rained during the tour or maybe that added to the overall irie feeling. Good stories told by the guide but I still think it would have been better without the rain.

I will give you 5 stars as it was due to a tummy upset that we didn't take the tour - apologies and will catch you next time - Thankyou

We were led on a ghost tour by a tour guide named Nil. He was a kind and attentive guide and his fascinating commentary made for a different Barcelona tour. I'm very happy to be exposed to the slightly scary hidden secrets of Barcelona.
Cristina guide does very well, good explanations and credible. You know better 3 not so famous areas of Barcelona.
Fatal, nos dejaron tirados. No acudió nadie. Ni un mensaje, ni una llamada. Simplemente, no vino nadie.
Recomiendo no comprar
Very good visit, the non-tourist Mood of the neighborhood at night helps to get in situation and the guide did fantastic!
