We had a very nice time at the. The museum has a lot of interesting wax figures from movies, music, sports, and history, and it was fun for both adults and kids. The atmosphere is pleasant, the figures are well made, and there are many great spots for photos. It’s a great place to spend some enjoyable time while visiting Barcelona, especially with family or friends. Definitely worth a visit!
Amazing experience! I was at 3-4 Madame Tussauds in Europe, but this is better. Recommend this activity if you are in Barcelona!
Wonderful experience! Modern and históric models. Modern technology experienc. Good for teens and older Recommend!
We really enjoyed our time at the Wax Museum in Barcelona. It was great to start with a short film about the museum – a nice way to learn a bit about its history. The wax figures were impressive, so lifelike and detailed! It was really fun walking around and seeing all the celebrities and famous historical figures. The museum is a great place to explore, and it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Barcelona!
It was an amazing experience. Tickets were booked for us .we had fun. Definitely worth going to the museum
Some of the stars are a bit hit and miss but there lots that look exactly like their human counterparts and some that looked remarkably lifelike. Really enjoyed my couple of hours here. Horror section was a little scary but worth braving and I loved the inclusion of some of the famous people of Spain and Catalonia. I may not have known who of them are but was nice to see them celebrated. Well worth a visit.
The wax museum was great, but short. Everything looked realistic and a lot to see. Although, when we finished the tour, we went to Bosc de la Fades Cafe for drinks as they were included in our tickets. Single ticket admission was €21 and the €25 includes drinks. When we got to the cafe, we told them about the drinks that were included in our ticket, but the bartender said no. That was extremely disappointed and put a sour taste on our day. Very misleading and uneducated staff at the cafe. I would suggest just buying the wax museum tickets without the Bosc de la Fades Cafe.
What an experience… it’s worth the price. The sculptures are brilliant and beautiful. I’d recommend it to anyone. Put it on your list of things to do in Barcelona
Having been to several Madame Tussaud's wax museums as well as some really lame ones, I didn't have high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the displays and the experience-based features. While there are a lot of Spanish characters I wasn't real familiar with, the majority were world renowned celebrities, some living and some not. There are some newer characters (Taylor Swift, Game of Thrones, Star Wars Rey, etc) as well as classic characters. This was of the same quality as the Madame Tussaud's we've seen and I'd recommend a visit.
We recently visited the Museum of Wax in Barcelona, and we had an amazing time! The wax figures were incredibly lifelike, and it felt like we were rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest celebrities and historical figures. We had so much fun posing for photos with famous personalities-from actors and musicians to world leaders. The kids especially enjoyed taking selfies with their favorite stars, and we all shared lots of laughs recreating iconic scenes. The museum was well-organized, and the staff were friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. It was a perfect family outing, and we left with fantastic memories and loads of photos!
Fun museum with lots of characters from spanish history, singers, actors etc. Some of them look a little bit off but generally well designed.
Having been to the ones in Paris, London and Sydney, this one was the smallest (and felt the most over-priced). The only place in France and Spain that charges you for cloakroom facilities (no refund). The toilet in the restaurant requires a PIN and so on. It’s a sign when the US President on display was the one from 8 years ago!
Good ,but some characters do look a bit fake, been to one in Amsterdam and this one in Barcelona is definitely better, bigger and the virtual lift at the start of tour is great
This wax museum was larger than I thought! I loved how it was broken up into different categories. The horror was my favorite with Valak, but small. We learned about the Catalonian tradition of building human towers in this museum. Definitely worthwhile and self-guided. You don't need to speak Spanish or Catalonian to visit and understand this museum.
We had really nice time! We enjoy a lot the first experience with the elevator!! ❤️❤️ it is worthy the try!
We had a free afternoon in Barcelona, so we took our children (13 and 11) for their first wax museum tour. There were many people they didn't know, but as a Spanish & French teacher I was over the moon: Don Quijote, Sancho Panza, Cervantes, Neruda, Lorca, Dalí, Frida Kahlo, Molière, Lope de la Vega,... Different sections: literature, painters, filmstars, cuisine (even Remi from Ratatouille 😀), music, science, political history, scenes from film and series (we loved Casa de papel),.... Up to date as well, with for example Billie Eilish. Nice entrance with make-believe trip around Barcelona. Very nice visit, we would recommend it!
Really great fun for everyone it was much more than I expected there is loads to see and do and we all spent a great 1.5hrs in there on a very hot July day. Great fun definitely recommend.
Excellent place, wonderful staff who suggested the appropriate tickets for our family. Interesting expositions. Must to visit :)
My partner and I had so much fun at the Barcelona Wax Museum. We would both highly recommend this little gem and would visit again if we return to Barcelona! It was a very interactive experience and good for all ages.
Nice visit with the children. It was fun seeing some of their idols in almost real. Luckely it was not too crowded so we had plenty of time to visit the whole museum.
The game of thrones area was Awsome for throne fans. This was the best interactive wax museum l have been to.
We had walked past this and thought we go in. We never been in a house of wax before and this was just fantastic. So much attention to detail and so much fun. Would definitely recommend.
This is a must to visit when in Barcelona! What a great interactive museum! It started with a very nice and pleasant surprise! Plenty of artists and if you like selfies, this is the place for you! We loved every moment! A bit expensive for my normal tourist pocket 22,00 euros (but In BCN all activities are expensive). It was worth it!
Boy oh boy did we have fun here! Reasonably priced and was very quiet when we visited - only 6 of us. Lots of great sets to see and famous faces to get close to! Brilliant ideas and fab fun - won't spoil it by telling all. Just make sure you don't miss this one on your trip to Barcelona. Its also in a fabulous olde building which once was a bank and there are some historical photos inside to see its past plus the old safe! You'll be SO glad you came - we were!!!
We found out about this museum random and we wanted to give it a try. It was really nice and(for us) definetely a must do. There was not just simple statues, the decor was great
Well updated and a "Must see" in Barcelona for adults and teens alike! The Project has been directed and implemented by a great team who have turned it around into into an exciting place to go, well done!!!
We really enjoyed!!!! The new museum it's fantastic. Updated wax characters. At the end we went just beside for a coffee in a amazing place (part of the museum i guess) called "Fairy Garden" wonderful!!!!!
the structure od the museum are based on stories. I fortunately don’t know much about Spanish history, but I liked everything in it
The music they play here is super eerie. We've been to other wax museums and they were more fun and upbeat. The sets are well done though, more so than the wax figures. Being from North America, a lot of the figures were unknown to us.
This wax museum is a very good place to visit there is lots of wax statues and they are different to others I have been to in the past.
Terrible! Waste of money. Pitch black, no signs on the figures, impossible to tell who they are. Poor directions inside. All over within 20mins. Just awful. They all look the same, with bad hair and costumes. Majority of the figures are Spanish people that mean nothing to the English tourist. Very dusty experience. Do not waste your money like we did!!
Very bad and dark. Figures do not look like real people. Luke Skywalker looks like a dragqueen. Bad quallity work. Not worth it
The experience has been very interesting. As soon as you enter you go to an elevator that moves a little but you see a view of Barcelona. The figures are well made and the ticket they give you at the end for a 10% discount in the store or in the cafeteria, a surprise, especially the cafeteria which is a spectacle
Very interesting museum, a spectacular experience, enough to truly leave you speechless, there is a guide for the first 2 attractions and then you are free to visit everything on your own! I highly recommend it!
🌟 A magical entrance that immediately captures the wonder! The entrance to the Barcelona Wax Museum (Museu de Cera), located in a charming passageway near the Ramblas, is a true invitation to enter a fantastic and fascinating world from the very first moment. Architecture and Historical Charm: You enter through a beautifully restored historic building that combines classic elegance with mysterious and well-kept details, immediately creating an atmosphere of great adventure. The Welcoming Atmosphere: Right from the threshold, the warm lighting, refined details, and scenic elements prepare visitors for the extraordinary experience that awaits them inside, conveying a sense of exclusivity and magic. The Staff's Welcome: The welcome at the entrance is warm, impeccable, and organized to perfection, capable of immediately making adults and children feel at ease with a smile and great professionalism. A spectacular calling card that immediately makes you dream and introduces you in the best way to the discovery of the wonders kept in the museum!
The experience was incredible
The Harry Potter part is very small
One of the stops on the cruise taken in June was Barcelona; having seen it many times, we decided to go into the wax museum. Beautiful 😍 even our little one who is almost 3 years old had a lot of fun Highly recommended
We went in skeptical, but by the last room, we were sad to leave. It starts with a very interesting interactive animation before beginning the experience. The statues were very well made and there were so many of them, while some of the settings were extraordinary. I really appreciated the theming and the characters placed within them; we had a lot of fun taking photos with the statues, and some of them, if you looked them straight in the eyes, seemed real in a way that was scary. The staff was very nice and even spoke a little Italian. Highly recommended experience.
I really liked the whole space and its exhibitions
A very complete exhibition of important personalities from the worlds of science (Stephen Hawking, Albert Einstein, Ramon and Cajal), academic music (Wagner, Beethoven, Chopin) and pop (Elton John, Joan manuel Serrat, The Beatles, Adelle); sports (Leo Messi could not miss), politics (Barak Obama, Angela Merkel), a corridor with the lineup of the good (Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Ghandi) and the bad (Francisco Franco, Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Iosef Stalin), icons of cinema (Jack Nicholson, Audrey Hepburn); finally, a multitude of statues providing a visit of the most interesting. Highly repeatable.
Wax Museum located in a historic building in a courtyard of La Rambla, borders or rather communicates with a beautiful fairy woods style pub and its large souvenir shop market Very extensive and with characters from many eras and cinema, all well illustrated in small labels next to the characters Free, vast and fascinating path It really deserves a ride Good prices Plus that area is full of beautiful distractions
Very special living different celebrities of history meeting different participants of history...
23 rd per adult, some statues are very well made, others not at all, far from Madame Tussauds’ museum for example. A little expensive for the quality of the characters, and the visit ends very quickly, the animation at the beginning is friendly.
Very nice wax museum, with several very realistic statues grouped into scenarios. In the scenario of fame: Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, Elton John, Freddie Mercury etc.; in the actors: Di Caprio, Pitt, Jack Nicholson etc.; then the horror zone with Michael Myers, Scream, Jason Voorhess etc.; and other scenarios. The museum is located in an alley adjacent to the rambla that connects the Columbus Monument with Plaça de Catalunya.
I loved the visit of the museum, but I have been disappointed because many figures of history are not currently represented, such as Joaquín Costa, great politician and writers of 27 and 98.
Without praise or infamy. Beautiful and I would do it again but nothing so transcendental. There are more beautiful but as an experience I think it is making us... We still had fun taking pictures and shooting around the various settings
Very poorly done to wax figures read lacks color and lacks many important people do not recommend it only serves to spend money.
We came with the kids to this museum and found it really cute. It was a lot of fun the introduction with the simulator that makes you do the tour of Barcelona by helicopter. The statues are very well done, attention to detail (from freckles to hair), although not all of them seemed true such as that of Marilyn Morroe or Nairobi of the paper house .We were inside for about 45 minutes, an hour at most. I find that for the time taken to visit it the price of 72 euros in 4 is a bit excessive considering that we paid 60 euros to visit the Pedrera.
