We only just arrived on time as we was on a cruise ship and it was a 25 minute walk to the meeting point only a suggestion for persons on cruises a map from the port would be helpful

I would highly recommend this tour. The meeting point was very convenient, the tour route was beautiful, and our guide Pablo was awesome. Pablo gave us some really interesting historical and more current political information to help us make the most of our time in Barcelona.
We had a really enjoyable Barcelona walking tour with Andrew. He was engaging throughout, clearly very knowledgeable, and had a great way of bringing the city’s history and stories to life. What I particularly appreciated was that he also dropped in useful recommendations along the way. One example was the Museu d'Història de Barcelona, which wasn’t even on my radar before the tour, but sounded well worth visiting — especially as it’s free after 3pm on Sundays. We paid the 7 euro entrance as our flight was at 6pm on Sunday and needed to head to the airport. Overall, Andrew struck a really good balance between history, local insight and practical recommendations. Walking tours are always the best way to explore a city. I only choose Sandemans when I book one. Always try to do it at the start of the holiday so you can pick up ideas for the rest of your trip. Highly recommended. Side note, if you're planning to visit the Sagrada Familia, BOOK tickets way in advance (like a month ahead). It's impossible a week or so before. I learned this the hard way so will probably need to revisit Barcelona in a few years time.
Hugo is an excellent leader and very informative. Is it a great way to get a little taste of the Gothic area and was given ideas as to what to go back to further investigate.

We decided to start our trip to Barcelona with a sandemans tour. Great overview of the Gothic quarter with a lot of Catalan history. Tour guide Andrew combined history, art, and humor into a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Highly highly recommend! Andrew also suggested some delicious restaurants to try. It was a scam, we booked it on the website as a Free Walking Tour and when we arrived the first thing they told us was that it was no longer like that and we had to pay €15. They play with the time and planning of tourist because you already have your trip and places you want to know planned.
We have just completed the Sandeman walking tour of Barcelona with Paula. Such an enjoyable 2 1/2 hours - time so well spent and our guide Paula was so knowledgeable and really knew her subjects (even when the group veered off topic !) She also provided an extensive list of good places to eat and visit which was a lovely bonus.
Paula was our guide and did an amazing job as we explored the old town. She had great insight into the history and culture and could answer just about anything! She also provided great tips on places to eat, types of tapas to try and what else to see. Paula’s tour is a must to start your time in Barcelona.
Our tour was with Augustina was one of the best walking tours I have been on! The tour was interactive and Augustina asked us questions along the way which I thought was nice. The tour was truly an incredible way to dip our toes into the history and architecture of this beautiful city, and Augustina got me and my family excited to explore more!
We had a great tour in English with Jordan! He gave us good historical information about Barcelona, as well as many tips about what to do during our stay here. He also speaks on a good pace, which was easy for me and my dad understand what he was saying, despite English isn’t our mother language.
Lena was a fantastic guide for our tour. She was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about making sure we all learned so much about Barcelona. We have done quite a few walking tours and this one was at the top of the list.
We did our tour with Hugo and it left us disappointed to say the least. We didn’t get out of the Gothic district, didn’t cover Maria del Mar, not even the Borne. He did asked if the group wanted to cover more or to be more in depth with history, but at least he should do the spots mentioned on the website. And close to the end of the tour he did a kind of awkward stop for people to review the tour that was way too long even with his QR code not working.
Our 2 plus hour walking tour with Lena was a highlight of our visit to Barcelona. Lena was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the two areas we visited (Gothic Quarter and Bora). Lena encourages her group to ask many questions and her answers always enhanced our groups experience. Well done Lena!

Good tour although descriptions not quite clear, you’re expected to pay a bit more after the tour . The tour guide said that as the tour was free to book you are expected to pay her even though we paid Viator. Informative trip but you don’t get to see too much. More talking than walking
