Montserrat is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth visiting! The mountain views are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Exploring this wonderful place was one of the highlights of my Barcelona trip. A special mention to our tour guide, Carla, who was amazing! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Her explanations and enthusiasm made the tour extra special. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Barcelona. Kyra, our tour guide, was excellent. She was friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. She laid out our schedule for us and kept us up to date as to changes etc. We followed her recommendations and enjoyed a hike to St Michael’s Cross and visited the local market for cheese. She was one of the best guides of our whole vacation and we had about 8 tours over the last two weeks.

Great tour. Definitely a must see. It was unclear when purchasing that all tour options under this organizer included cogwheel and black Madonna. We would have opted for the wine tour as well but thought it would behoove us not focus on the whole on site package.

This is a great tour of the Monserrat monastery and basilica, including the black Madonna. While you can elect wine tasting and lunch, this tour still took 6 hrs with a leisurely and scenic drive from Barcelona. The guides did a great job informing us of all the pertinent facts. Lesley is a particularly gifted and knowledgeable guide. She is well trained and seems to have a great deal of expertise. She is a wonderful guide.

We had an absolutely blast exploring Montserrat and visiting a local winery with Lesly as our guide. Lesly was very knowledgeable, passionate, and very funny, making the whole experience both interesting and enjoyable. She shared fascinating stories and information while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and fun. She was extremely knowledgeable about wine, explaining the different varieties, the winemaking process, the local terroir. You could really tell she has a genuine passion for wine!
Ivan and Mayi were informative and fun tour guides. We had Ivan for the Montserrat tour and broke away for the restaurant lunch. Ivan had great advice for a quick 40 min hike to the top of the mountain. Everything was planned perfectly. The lunch was well worth it. We recommend the tour.

Needed more time to see everything
The bus drivers and tour guides were entertaining and informative. Etrienne was incredible. He was easy to hear and understand. It was difficult to come up with a question he couldn't answer. It was a full day of education on the history of Catalonia/Spain, the monastery, the region, and the mountains. The train ride and the journey were uniquely fun too. Money and time well spent.
It was very nice! Our guide Carla did her job the best way, professionaly and with enthusiasm. She knows many things and can give a lot of information. There can be different groups but you must do your job professionally like she did.

The experience with our tour guide Hector was amazing. First, is great to see the team work amongst the tour guides they all work ro make our experience one of a kind. The knowledge and information we gathered going thru Monte de Monserrat, and vineyard Oller del Mas was great. We all learned a lot. From sign up to checkin to return, everything worked seamlessly. Kyra, our guide, was great. She was knowledgeable and kept the group engaged from the start of the tour, the visit to Montserrat, during our 3 course lunch at the vineyard and led a tasting after lunch. Kyra answered our many questions and shared her love and passion for Catalunya. As we were multiple groups on the bus, we also got some time with the other guides. The team worked well together. I learned, laughed and came to better understand the culture and pride. My advice is take a day out of amazing Barcelona and visit this special place.
