We had such a great time on our tour with Sofia. She was warm, super knowledgeable, and the way she mixed the city’s history into the food stops made it feel like two tours in one. We really appreciated how she helped us avoid the touristy places and introduced us to dishes and spots we would never have found on our own. It was relaxed, fun, and by the end we were full, happy, and felt like we understood Barcelona so much better.

Cava is a Spanish denomination of origin for sparkling wines, made using the traditional method of champagne production. The Cava region mainly comprises the Catalan region of Penedès, in the provinces of Barcelona and Tarragona. In this stop, you will close a wonderful night cheering with a Catalan Cava in a traditional bar of 1912.
You won't know which pintxo to choose, but don't worry, all of them are exquisite! Combine it with a good red wine from Rivera del Duero, one of the best areas for wine production, or a fresh white Verdejo wine.

What an amazing experience! I can’t even just call it a tour — it was definitely an experience. Daniel was fantastic and truly went above and beyond. We ate so much delicious food, trying things we hadn’t tasted before as well. He chose excellent places to stop, and the drink recommendations to pair with the food were spot on too.
Very unique and local. A great opportunity to explore the city in the non touristy areas and get your money’s worth.
Our guide Horacio was amazing. Very knowledgeable and informative. But, more importantly he was just a lot of fun to be with.
Horacio was a wonderful guide for this exploration of traditional Barcelona tapas and a variety of Spanish wines. This is a great way to spend a late afternoon / early evening in a vibrant part of Barcelona. Highly recommend and suggest requesting Horacio to guide!
Horacio was above the top. He explained the wine route around Cataluña and the wines we taste where perfect. Great time.
We dined and drank and talked for hours with our guide. She was delightful and gave us some great tips for things to see in Barcelona.
Brunella was warm and knowledgeable. She organised interesting venues to eat and drink, with delicious choices of tapas, pinchos and wine. She was also a great conversationalist. A very enjoyable evening! Many thanks!
Simone, our tour guide was fantastic! She came very prepared, and really thrilled with the restaurant locations, which were off the beaten path in Barcelona. Fantastic food, and a very knowledgeable guide.
We had a wonderful evening for Taverns and Tapas. Our guide was fantastic, and we especially loved that it was just 4 of us in the group. Our guide, Mariana, took us to great tapas spots that were all a short walking distance away from each other. We loved the variety of food and drinks. We were astounded by the AMOUNT of food and drink. We left absolutely stuffed. Mariana was so friendly and knowledgeable -- we made a friend and learned so much.
It was definitely a tapas and pintxos tour! Our guide was very pleasant and accommodating. Go with a private tour to fully experience the culture. We went to five different places that served tapas and pinxtos. One tapas and one pintxos per restaurant. It was quite an experience! You must have at least a red sangria in one of the restaurants. I enjoyed looking at lows and rows of pinxtos. Each restaurant will have their own specialty pinxtos. I wished there was a paella in one of the places but it wasn’t included because this tour was all about tapas.
Jennifer was great! She had all kinds of interesting things to tell us about Barcelona and took us to 5 different places. We had a great time
MarieAnna was the perfect tour guide! She was on time , very knowledgeable , very friendly. She made us feel very comfortable and relaxed!
Mariana is awesome! She is friendly, helpful, informative, and fun to talk with. She had great food and wine recommendations and made us feel welcome our first night in Barcelona. She even let us practice our Spanish with her (despite ours being a bit rough)! Top notch experience and guide we would recommend to anyone; we could only hope to run into Mariana again!
The tour guide was great. She was both friendly & knowledgeable. We were full with the amazing tapas we had at several different small restaurants. Good thing we took a cab to go back. We had a lot of wine.
Excellent night with great wine and great tapas. Our guide "Nacho" was amazing! Highly recommned this tour.
The communication from the tour guide leading up to the date of our tour was terrible. One line emails and then no responses to my replies. I received an email from one of the guides an entire month before our scheduled tour date stating that they were at the meeting location and wondering where we were! In the end our flights were delayed causing us to miss the tour. However, other members of our party did go to the meeting location and were unable to locate the tour guide. Despite multiple emails explaining our situation we did not receive a single reply. The one email that we did get back after the date of our tour was a request to review the tour.... that never actually took place!! We are extremely disappointed and would have loved to experience the tapas and wine tour that we had planned for during our visit to Barcelona.
Zak made this the best tour of our entire week! He was so down to earth and knowledgeable. It was fun to talk about cultural differences since out tour was private.
John was a wonderful guide, so knowledgeable about Spanish wines and history. He was entertaining and charming. Highly recommend you book this tour with John!
Our guide, Silvina, was very knowledgeable about Barcelona and the local food culture. We had great conversation and met many of the local shop owners. Her outgoing personality put us at ease, and we enjoyed every minute. Would highly recommend this tour!
The review is not on the quality of the tour/operator. We were unable to take this tour due to a very poor communication. We asked a question for a possible reschedule however there was no response by the time we left for the meeting place. Given this lack of communication/confirmation we arrived to find no guide. We waited 15 minutes and still no guide. We therefore asked for a refund which the operator refused. Viator has not only email addresses but phone numbers. Timely communication could easily been managed. This experience does raise the question of being the only 2 for a tour, especially when there was another operator there with several people. Very unfortunate situation.
My girlfriend and I both enjoyed this private tour and is excellent for the price you pay. It was ~3 hours and we really enjoyed sampling all the tapas/pinchos for the locations our tour guide (Zakaria) took us. Zak was an outstanding guide and also very gracious to share ideas for other restaurant recommendations while we were in Barcelona. We tried three different places he recommended and all were fabulous!
Zak is AWESOME multilingual and knowledgeable. Muy buena onda y excelente servicio!! Il est tres mignon.
I arrived 30 minutes early and waited at the meeting point for an hour, and the guide never showed or responded. I just hope they give me a refund.
What a fantastic evening! My wife and I have visited Barcelona many times. We are definitely "foodies", and Barcelona is one of the trendiest cities in the world for food. We have done several excellent wine and tapas tours in Barcelona in the past. Most of them have been located in either the "El Born" or "Gracia" areas of town. We know that Poble Sec is one of the trendiest areas of town, so we were interested in learning what the area might have to offer. Wow! What a pleasant and unexpected surprise! This turned out to be the best food and wine tour ever! Our host, Silvina, made it an unforgettable experience! We visited several bodegas with a wide range of food choices to sample. The food was exceptionally fresh, with often bold flavor combinations. Silvina's knowledge of the area and her relationship with the local owners made this tour a true "insider's perspective" of the trendiest of Barcelona food scenes. My wife and I have been looking for a second home in Barcelona for several years now, and our experience on this tour was so impressive that we are now seriously looking at purchasing property in the Poble Sec area! Thanks, Silvina, for an unforgettable experience!
This was the most fun we had on a tour during our entire trip! This gave us a great local feel for the culture in Barcelona. Our guide was so incredible! He made the tour exceptional! The food, the drinks and the atmosphere were on point. I recommend doing this for sure!
I loved the food and Brune. She was wonderful ❤️! I really loved how she talked with us and showed us a good time.
Lucia was our guide and she was great! She took us places for tapas we would not have known about otherwise. We all had a great time (2 families with teenagers).
My daughter and I went on this tour together. It was private, just the two of us. Zak was our tour guide and he was amazing - very friendly and knowledgeable about all things Barcelona and all of Spain. We had a great time. Zak took us to bars with really good tapas in an area we had not explored. My daughter is pescatarian and he made sure she was accommodated at each bar without any issues. I can’t say enough about Zak. You would be lucky to get him as your guide. We were very happy with this tour.
Had a pretty entertaining evening with our guide, however the food was average at best and nothing special. We were just asked to pick a tapas and a pintxo at each stop and given a glass of wine or other drink. A previous tour I did was much better as the guide brought us to places where each of them were specially know for one dish and we got to try a really good version of that tapas. This tour was more of a pub crawl.
This was a great introduction to the city of Barcelona, it’s history, and of course the food. Milena was an awesome guide with so much knowledge about everything. 2 thumbs up from our group.
We had so much fun with Lucia on the tapas and wine tour last night. It was like a night out with a friend. She made me laugh all night. Lucia knew loads about the local bars, tapas and wine and took us to some fabulous bars. I would definitely recommend this. Thanks to Lucia for a fantastic evening, one that we shall never forget. ( she even put is on the right train home !!!!!)
The pinxtos were the best part. The wine was good. Would have enjoyed more of a group environment I think
Pablo was an excellent guide. He was converse in many topics and a very gracious host. He helped us with our food orders and was delightful. We were the only 2 guests so it was very intimate and the time between restaurants was minimal. Very enjoyable experience.
We liked the authentic tour and our guide was really nice and knew a lot about the city and demographics, sociological stuff besides the tapas!:) The tapas and wine were delicious but in our opinion the tour is way overpriced! We had three stops and did not really eat much of tapas since we thought it would continue. Then it was over and we were still a little hungry so we should have ordered more. When you consider one pincho being 1-1,80€, then 90€ for the tour is crazy expensive!
Incredible time! Lucia was the best and gave us so much good info about Barcelona. We loved our time with her!
Wonderful way to experience Barcelona from a local perspective. Visited places that locals frequent. Lucia was great and tour was great. Highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. The food was delicious, we explored a new neighborhood and made a new friend. Our guide, Sonia, was wonderful!
We enjoyed our tour with Priscila! We went to several pinchos bars and tried different tapas and wines. Fun experience!
Priscilla was an incredible tour guide. We learned so much about culture & history in Barcelona. We ate incredible food and had incredible wine!
Jen was great. She was easy to talk to and answered all our questions about Spain wine and tapas. We had an excellent evening and will return to the various places to eat more tapas. She also was about to recommend restaurants in our location.
We had a great time on this tour. One of the highlights of our latest trip to Barcelona. Our guide, Jenny, was great. Every place we stopped at was great and the good and wine was also amazing. Our guide was very knowledgable about each place and always ready to explain more about what we were eating, or just talk about Barcelona and the neighboring region in general. Would highly recommend this tour and planning to take more from the same group on a future visit.
My wife and I had a wonderful evening with Priscilla. We loved the places she took us. We enjoyed great tapas and learned about the wines we had. Very very happy we did this tour!
I highly recommend this as part of your Barcelona experience. A one on one personal guide through some of Barcelona’s coolest tapas and wine spots. Worth every penny and it was the highlight of my trip. Jenny, the guide, was full of knowledge and made the experience very smooth and enjoyable. I would do it all over again.
We had alot of fun. Good drinks and conversation. We walked around but not to the point of being tired
this was a great experience. Lola our guide was truly amazing. each pinchos bar had it's own flavor and vibe. Lola was very engaging and made the journey informative and FUN! i highly recommend this experience and especially recommend Lola.
We had a wonderful time on our tapas and wine tour in Barcelona. We went to 5 or so bodegas for different types of tapas and each paired with a different wine. An education in regional cuisine and wine culture. A fun way to spend an evening learning about Barcelona.
Our first time in Barcelona! This tour was great, would highly recommend taking this tour. Lola our guide made the experience delightful. The tapas, pinchos, and wine pairings were plentiful and delicious. Worth the money and experience.
Laura provided a wonderful, engaging and informative tour that focused on showing us where local, everyday people congregate, eat good food and drink good wine. We went to 4 places and had pinchos, tapas, patatas bravas, wine and finished the evening off with a glass of cava. There were 5 of us just from our group. Walking was easy and mostly flat. We all loved it and highly recommend this tour and Laura as a tour guide.
Enjoyed different 5 restaurants in 3 different neighborhoods. Pedro was a great guide who gave us a good understanding and history of each neighborhood we visited . Good amount of food and drinks. Teenagers really enjoyed.
