We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our sunset cruise, and a huge part of that was thanks to our skipper, Marie! Marie was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire experience. She shared so much interesting history about Spain and gave us great information about the different sights we were seeing along the Barcelona coastline. She even took the time to explain how the sailboat worked, which made the experience that much more enjoyable! She was also extremely attentive to our needs, making sure our wine glasses were topped off whenever they were getting low (which was pretty often!). A very special note: I actually proposed to my girlfriend during this cruise! Marie went above and beyond to make the moment perfect. She took the time to find us a calm patch of water so I could safely get down on one knee and pop the question. And I’m happy to report that my NOW fiancée said YES!! Marie truly helped make one of the most important moments of our lives even more special, and we couldn’t be more grateful. She is absolutely deserving of every bit of this 5-star rating. I would highly recommend this experience, and especially Marie, to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and memorable evening on the water in Barcelona! Thank you again, Marie!!

Itinerary
Standing opposite the Vila Olímpica neighbourhood, it was built in 1990 during the redevelopment of this area of Barcelona. The marina was designed by the architects Oriol Bohigas, Josep Martorell, David Mackay and Albert Puigdomènech. The city needed a sports marina which would meet exacting standards, and it was the site of the sailing competitions during the 1992 Olympic Games. The marina has 756 berths for yachts and its entrance is visible from anywhere in Barcelona. The two skyscrapers on either side are the Mapfre Tower and the Hotel Arts, with Frank Gehry's spectacular goldfish sculpture at its base, and nearby, the Gran Casino de Barcelona. Lovers of water sports can go yachting or practise other types of sailing techniques here, and in the summertime, the beaches on either side of the marina – Somorrostro and Nova Icària – are the perfect place for sunbathing or for a cooling dip in the sea.
The Fish sculpture by the architect Frank Gehry, who won the Pritzker Prize in 1989, has become one of the symbols of post-Olympic Barcelona and looks as if it is bobbing along on the waters of the Mediterranean. The sunlight is reflected in the scales of this sculpture that presides over the waterfront of the Olympic Marina and Barcelona's beaches. In 1992, the pristine Olympic Barcelona was transforming its seafront. A new Olympic Marina was taking shape, presided over by its twin towers. On one side stood the Mapfre Tower; on the other was the Hotel Arts. Frank Gehry placed his fish sculpture at the foot of the hotel. The animal is 56 metres long and 35 metres high and seems to be longing to jump into the blue waters of the Mediterranean.
Port Vell, literally in English "Old Harbor" is a waterfront harbor in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, and part of the Port of Barcelona. It was built as part of an urban renewal program prior to the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Before this, it was a run-down area of empty warehouses, railroad yards, and factories. 16 million people visit the complex each year It is now a focal point of the city and tourist attraction, containing the Maremàgnum (a mall containing shops, a multiplex cinema, bars and restaurants), IMAX Port Vell and Europe's largest aquarium containing 8000 fish and 11 sharks contained in 22 basins filled with six million litres (1.6 million US gallons) of seawater. A pedestrian walkway, Rambla de Mar, connects La Rambla to Port Vell It incorporates a swing bridge, in order to allow ships to enter and exit the harbour

Daniel was the best! Super nice, super proactive. He just let us enjoy! Always with our glasses full and some nice snacks, we got our playlist on the boat sound system, the sun and the beautiful city of Barcelona warming our souls. The tour was beautiful and perfect.

What a fantastic time we had with Marie! She was so friendly and professional, an absolute gem of a person. The boat was clean and very spacious for our family of 4 and Marie’s service was attentive. I had an amazing time. The views were awesome in my skipper Daniel was amazing. The route was great. We went out and got to see the skyline of Barcelona and then went into this canal that saw more of the city and it was perfect during sunset. We left at 8 PM and got back at 10 PM and it was the perfect view with the perfect lighting

Roa, our skipper, was fantastic! It was just my wife and me and we sailed for 4 fabulous hours. We swam, drank cava, and the icing on the cake was that we came upon a large pod of dolphins!! We enjoyed a magnificent afternoon for a November 1st, in the company of a captain who was as friendly as she was warm (a big thank you to Marie!). The boat was perfect for 4 people and the 3-hour ride was ideal. We were able to go as far as the old port and even enjoy a little swim on the way back.

What a wonderful evening. Everything was well arranged and the staff on the boat also knew a lot to tell, also spoke good English. Our guide was called Nico and came from Barcelona himself and showed us all the beautiful places on the water, including the harbor and more. Highly recommended! Very competitively priced for what you experience. Really a 10/10 star. Fortunately we were able to take many beautiful pictures with the sunset.
