Sailing portion was a horrible experience but winery was excellent. Our captain should not have taken us out at sea. It was very choppy and he knew that. We were literally the only ones out on the water. One of the girls on our boat was very sea sick. We had to tell him multiple times to take us back. We then had a driver, Fabio was very nice, who took us to the winery. We had a private tour of the winery and ended up being a beautiful afternoon!

We were already at the harbor 1/2 hour before departure when it was cancelled. I called the provider and they said it was rescheduled for 2 1/2 hours later. I told them that was unacceptable so they added us to a different boat ride and drove us to the winery but we had to be added to a group that got shade. We sat in the sun for over an hour, were served a tomato and bread as our snack while others got all sorts of other snacks. Our trip back took over an hour which our driver pick up another person and left us in a hot van for 15 minutes. Then left us in the middle of Barcelona with no taxi service so we had to walk for 20 minutes to our hotel. We use Viator and trust your company but this was a total disaster for us. The whole day we felt like we were a third wheel!
Very unique experience! I would definitely recommend the sailing experience. The winery tour was one of the best I’ve been on and the wines were delicious.
great time. Experienced Captain. Knowledge of waters and good instructions regarding safety and boarding of boat for the inexperienced sailors. Adjusted sails when wind was picking up to keep crew feeling safe. Snacks and beverages were a nice touch and appreciated by all.
Great way to sail the Mediterranean! Captain was friendly and lively. Tour was short but wines were great.
Marino was truly awesome. The winery visit was great and we got to see the entire city and then outside the city all on bike! Great time!
The sailboat ride was good, but the winery tour was great. Annette took us on a very informative tour of the vineyards and the winery. Afterwards we were given a lesson on what to look for to judge and taste wine. We received ample pours of four of their wines along with a delicious Catalonian lunch.
Fabulous! Amazing vineyards. Gorgeous properties. Wonderful hosts. Exquisite wines. Take this tour. We went on another wine trip and it was not nearly as good as this one.
Wow!! Our group was large and was split into two. Our group took a van to a winery outside of the city. We got a tour of the winery, 4 tastings, and some appetizers. We then took a sailboat back to the meeting spot. The sailboat included a small charcuterie board to share and....more wine!!! Our captain was great and let us try out sailing! He brought the party! You will leave feeling absolutely great!!
It's always nice to get on the water and I booked based on the description. However the boat ride was that, eventually the sails were put up for show. They advertise that you will have drinks and snacks on the boat but that was not the case. It was a silent ride as the Captain wasn't interested in talking for the hour. There will be confusion as you do not have a guide, but have faith when a can pulls to and just waves that you have to get in at the public dock. The one winery you visit is a beautiful setting and staff will take you on a short tour. Overall the not meeting what you advertise and silent treatment was what made this something I won't recommend to friends.
Wonderful sailing/winery trip. Don’t expect much to eat though. You may want to eat something prior to avoid seasickness and or wine on an empty stomach. Guides were great. Fir the price, a little more substantial food would have been nice.
Had a wonderful time. The group was big so they split us up. We did the vineyard first and the sailing second. Would highly recommended that agenda. The afternoon sailing was so much fun. Bring a swim suit if you want to jump in the Mediterranean to cool off while sailing.
Our guide at the winery was very pleasant and we enjoyed our wine tasting and food. The captain on the boat was fun and we had a great time sailing back to Barcelona.
The winery was beautiful and Marc, the sommelier, was informative and entertaining. The wine tasting was very good and the food was a perfect accompaniment. The small group size was just right. The sailing trip was fun even though the weather was not cooperative. Overall, it was a great experience.
Wonderful winery. Great tour at the winery with great wine. The coach and boat tour were pleasant but the highlight was the experience at the winery.
Bus there, boat back. It was great; but they should be more up front). Excellent winery guide. Wine is so low cost—buy a CASE!
This was a wonderful combination for a half day excursion out of Barcelona. The winery has a long history, with beautiful views of the vineyards, Alella and the coast. Marc provided an interesting tour, and the wine tasting and food were delightful. Roger was a great guide for the the ride to the winery, which concluded with an amazing sailing trip back to the city. The captain was great and we had another round of drinks and and snacks on the way. We had good wind and terrific views of the skyline during the sail, and this was a perfect last day for our visit to Barcelona. NOTE: We went to the beach after the tour. It is right next to the port where you start/end. Highly recommended!
Loved the vineyard and the tour! The sailing was beautiful but too many for the boat we had. My family of four did not have seats so we sat up front in the sun on the bow of the boat (with no real seats). That just meant less opportunity for drink and food and totally in the sun. It was beautiful though. There should just be room for everyone to sit under the shade if desired and there was not. The captain was nice—just boat slightly too small. The vineyard, however was perfect! Loved the quant location and small vineyard tour. It was lovely and I would highly recommend! Just wish there was more room on the boat.
The sailing trip was awesome and the captain was wonderful. The winery tour was terrific and absolutely delicious. The wines were so good that I bought some! The tour guide was great! I would recommend this tour!
Splendid experience. The guides were kind, knowledgeable and engaging. We enjoyed the visit and the wine!!! We definitely recommend
Great experience would fully recommend, lovely wine, food lovely and Marc who did the tour is easy on the eye. Get your moneys worth!
I had a great wine tasting experience, very informative and a great half day of sailing and drinking hard to beat that one
It was an amazing experience! Everyone was very friendly and the wine was excellent! The views from the terrace were unbelievable! I would definitely recommend this tour!
Marc in the guide that was in the vinery was so kind and professional knowledgeable so nice and the vibe food and the sourrounding was perfect The sailing experience was just so fun ! Wine and water perfect paring
Absolutely amazing and fun! How can you go wrong with sailing and wine?! Truth is you can’t! Our tour guides Roger and Susanna were knowledgeable and made this a personal experience shared with 10 more. They make you feel very welcome and made this such a fun time. Ask for them. Highly recommend this is a do not miss experience!
The boat ride at the beginning was a bit slow - the captain was nice, but I think it would be better facilitated with a host. Obviously everyone is strangers, so some ice breakers would make the experience more enjoyable and socialable. The tour itself was very interesting. The tour guide, Susanna, knew a lot about the wine and the land, and had a lot to share about the winery. The tasting was also quite pleasant and the wine is delicious.
Me and my girl had so much fun and we surprisingly got really drunk so that was good but also we showed up drunk but I loved it so much it was giving white lotus love u guys
GREAT experience! Winery was family owned and operated so visit was quaint and individualized for your group. Small group permitted communication with others from various parts of the world. Wine was yummy! Boat ride was beautiful and Captain created a fun atmosphere.
It was an amazing experience, the boat operator was really friendly allowing us to take turns to steer the boat and allowed us to go up to the bow! It was my partners 50th and played happy birthday through the boats sound system. There was also a choice of cheese, olives, crackers, crisps and meats! The winery tour was also amazing with our host able to speak perfect english, and gave a fabulous lesson in wine tasting which for the uninitiated like me was really helpful. The wines were also lovely and the food they offered complimented the wines. The small bus was there waiting for us at the port and its air conditioning was very welcome! It was there again at the end of the tour waiting to take us back. All in all I highly recommend doing this and thought it was good value for such a lovely experience.
Amazing experience. The sailboat was amazing and the captain was a blast. The winery was fantastic the tour guide Laura was incredibly knowledgeable and did an amazing job explaining the grape growing, wine making, and wine tasting process. The entire staff was extremely attentive and enthusiastic. Regardless of your new to wine or experienced wine connoisseur Bouquet D’Alella is great. Even bought some wine to bring home to the states.
The best experience! I highly recommend! From the awesome sail on the water to the beautiful vineyard! The whole experience was amazing and a highlight of our trip! Both the skipper and guide at the vineyard were very knowledgeable! Highly recommend!
This was a wonderful and relaxing experience. The engine ran the entire time so it wasn’t a “full” sailing experience. They have a time schedule to keep so we zipped along. The snacks and drinks were great and our tour of the winery was beautiful. Just the right amount of walking, not e haunting especially considering the het we had while visiting. The views were breathtaking. Would definitely recommend.
Amazing experience. We loved the wine, food and the sailing. It was a great way to meet people and enjoy a different part of Barcelona. A must do!!!
Lovely activity to do with your husband, boy friend and even your girlfriends. We had a beautiful time in the winery. They explain everything really good. Walk around and watch everything grow is pretty special. And finished in the sailing boat was amazing.
Great experience sailing. Drinks and snacks provided. Winery was very informative and a pleasant experience wine tasting.
Francesca was an absolutely amazing host for the winery tour. Authentic, funny and very knowledgeable. The sailing trip back to Barcelona was simply great. We really appreciated the skippers calm and friendliness. Roger organized the trip in a very professional and adorable way, making it a unique and exceptional experience.
My friend and I had a great time on this experience. The winery was beautiful and our tour guide Francesca made it a wonderful experience. The brunch and wine tasting portion were great! Francesca was very knowledgeable and made sure we left knowing much more about wine than we did prior. We unfortunately missed the sailing portion however Juliette in the office was so kind and accommodating in helping us meet up with the group at the vineyard. She went above and beyond to help us get where we needed to go. Roger met us upon our arrival and made us feel welcomed. The van ride back to Barcelona was very convenient. I would definitely recommend this activity!
Excellent experience! Would highly recommend. We choose to do this on our last day in Barcelona to unwind and relax. This was the perfect ending to our trip. Sailing with Roman to the small fishing village, to the comfortable transportation provided by our driver Carlos. The winery was fantastic, Francesca was very knowledgeable and passionate. Left with 2 bottles of delicious wine to end the trip. Book it now, you won’t regret!
Scenic boat ride, beautiful vineyards, delicious wine and snacks! Great coordination from Roman, Carlos, and Roger. Francesca was the perfect wine guide.
We had a great expirience on this tour! Mark, our tour guide was upbeat and did an awesome job explaining everything. Would definitely recommend booking with him. Roman was the captian of the boat that took us back from the winery, our expirience with him was 1000/10. We were a group celebrating for a bachelorette party and he was amazing. He had us laughing and partying the whole time. The highlight of our trip was jumping into the ocean on this boat ride. If you choose to ride with Roman you will be very happy you did!
This experience has been an awful disaster from start to finish and i demand a refund. The bus driver drove his vehicle into a ditch and stranded us at the winery for 90 minutes. At the winery, as a solo traveler, I was ignored by the host and made to sit by myself. Now on the sailboat, the experience is being ruined by extremely drunk loud people who were obviously allowed to drink far too much. The captain allowed two of these drunk women to take the wheel for extended periods of time and steer the boat while he went below deck (I have video) which was dangerous and no doubt against rules. And he continues serving alcohol to clearly intoxicated people.
This may be the best winery tour and tasting we have ever experienced: small family run vineyard in a part of Spain we have never explored before. The tour, given by a family member, and tasting afterwards was wonderful --- tasting several wines with tapas overlooking the vineyards. Added plus was the private sailboat taking you to (or from) the vineyard: the captain was great --- low key and a wonderful host...and the sailing was just beautiful. Highly recommended.
We thought it was a boat tour to the winery but found out at the port that only a few could ride and the rest would travel by shuttle. Shuttle was fine but water was so rough coming back from winery that some guests were ill. Wii’s we had been on the boat in morning.
Beautiful and relaxing boat ride, followed by great Wine and great views! It was such a fun and relaxing way to spend a birthday.
The winery was OK. The people we were with made the experience very fun and the boat captain was fun. However, the winery refused to let anyone refill their glasses, which is unusual for typical winery tours.
The winery was fantastic! However the company taking us there and back were very unorganized. We were originally booked for a Thursday tour which the company canceled. They were able to re-book us for Friday instead which was fine. Due to having extra people, not everyone got to ride in the boat. We were told only 10 people could fit in the boat and the remaining 16 would have to take the bus. Therefore we did not get to enjoy the drinks, snacks, and views the boat would have offered. Frustrating to not enjoy all of what you paid for. Why would there not be a 2nd boat available for the others that did not fit on the first boat? Overall we are very happy we went to the winery because it was beautiful and the tour they provided was a lot of fun. Not to mention their wines were delicious. I would go to this winery again but use a different company to do it.
Wonderful private half-day tour of the Alta Allella winery with tasting on a covered elegant outdoor terrace followed by a pretty sail back along the Barcelona coast. Thoroughly enjoyed learning about the wine-making process and tasting some great wines. Perfect way to enjoy some countryside after several days in Barcelona.
Winery was awesome! Boat captain: not so great. Not easy to find as there was no “tent” because he reversed the order of the trip
This was so incredible. The wine tour staff was super friendly and knowledgable and we loved our boat captain! I'm so happy we woke up just in time because this experience was by far my favorite of the trip. Not to mention everyone else part of the group was excellent and friendly!
This was a great day out with my wife and sons (16&18). The group were also really good company & fun. . Our guide was interesting , knowledgeable, charming and passionate about wine. I found the description of the history of the vineyard and the process of vine to bottle fascinating. The tasting was delicious. Sailing back to Barcelona was wonderful and spectacular views of the city. Our skipper was a great host. I’d recommend AA to stock the boat either their own cava as they are missing a marketing opportunity there. We arrived back in time for a late lunch and beach. A great day out thanks
