Great tour that gave us coveted tower access. Our guide Xavier went at a good pace, was very patient and knowledgeable, and easily kept the group together despite the crowds. Highly recommend!

Itinerary
Your tour begins at the Nativity Facade. As you look closer, you’ll see scenes from the birth of Christ surrounded by plants, animals, and symbols inspired by nature. It’s easy to see why this side is considered the most joyful and expressive. Next, stop at the model of the completed Sagrada Familia and visualize how this masterpiece will look once finished. Then, step inside and take a moment to look up. The towering columns branch out like trees, creating a feeling of standing in a peaceful forest. As sunlight filters through the colorful stained-glass windows, the interior glows with shifting hues of red, green, and blue that change throughout the day. After exploring the interior, head outside to the Passion Facade, a huge contrast to the one you saw earlier. Its stark lines and dramatic sculptures tell the story of Christ’s final days. You’ll feel the expression of pain and redemption on this facade.
If you selected the Passion Tower option, continue to one of the basilica’s most impressive viewpoints. Take the elevator up the Passion Tower and enjoy views over Barcelona’s city centre. The tower visit is not guided, and the descent is made on foot via the tower staircase.

Francis gave is information we hadn’t had on our three other visits to the Sangrada. A lot of history and insider knowledge.
Please prepare the last minute time slot change without notice. Our tickets are for 11:15 but got no advance notification about the change to the afternoon 15:15. I was glad that I have no other fixed bookings so we can move around our other exploring activities to make this last minute change worked. Otherwise, the tour guide was amazed with a lots of historical information for us and he’s funny! I would recommend not to do the Passion tower as a lots of cranes working around this side and made the tower experience not so great!
Tour guide was excellent and had a great sense of humor Kept a keen eye on our elderly members in the group
Absolutely incredible! I think it was really worth it to have the explanation of all of the sculptures and the guided walk through of the church. My guide was so knowledgeable and I learned a lot. We got to skip any lines and go right in, and the experience did not feel rushed. Also afterwards you can stay at the church as long as you like.
Tour guide was friendly, helpful and insightful. I would not call 15 people a small group and the price was extortionate.
The Tower tour requires a special ticket and they aren’t open every day. If seeing the Tower is important to you plan accordingly. This tour was just the right duration for us. We appreciate the headsets to hear our guide because it’s loud and busy in the church. Our guide was so helpful and friendly. She taught us a lot about Gaudy and the church. She personalized the experience by remembering names and countries of origin. This is a must see. It’s magical and like nothing else you’ve seen. The stained glass alone will blow your mind. Viator always is reliable to be on time and deliver a great experience.
This experience was well organized and very informative for exploring the Sagrada Família. An amazing architectural achievement. Our guide provided interesting historical and anecdotal notes that helped enhance our experience. We visited on the early evening in September and the light in the western windows was stunning. Totally recommend you visit with a Viator guide. Our guide made sure the group stayed together and made accommodations for one of our party who needed some assistance to navigate steps and crowds. Five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nice tour of the beautiful basilica. Guide was awesome and provided lots of historical information. I recommend.
Jamie was a wonderful guide! He was engaging, informative, and answered all questions fully. The tour was beautiful and we learned so much we did not know before. Concise but beautifully detailed.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and made an effort to engage the group with questions and comments She was very accommodating and courteous.
There was a very big rainstorm shortly before our meeting time. All Ubers and taxis were booked and we eventually got there 20mins late. The bar code in the booking is NOT what gets you into the cathedral. No phone for the guide and we could not get into the cathedral without him. Unhappy and wet!!!
Worst company i booked for my vacation trip. No support system, does not answer phone calls, emails or even from a viator agent. I booked with them for a tour at sangrada familia, heavy rain occured in the city on 9/9/26 and traffic was horrible, we left gothic quarter at 5pm for 6:15pm tour and got there at 6:16pm still rain pouring. No one was there and no one responded on the phone calls, email, viator msg to see if they can take us in or resched or at least refund rhe $396 i paid for this. Viator customer service also message this company goforajourney.com and no answer. So please find a diff company that has good support system if issues like this that you cannot control occured! I paid but no tour!
Very good, guide isabel is very professional.
Gloria our tour guide was great! She was very knowledgeable and covered the big picture items along with pointing out the details.
What an amazing historic place to visit. We booked before travelling, which we found easy. Finding the correct entrance was slightly confusing, as you have time-slots, fast track, groups, and all in Spanish. Just find a security guard that speaks a little English and you will be directed to the correct queue. We booked for an evening slot of 19.15 which was amazing. The light through the windows was beautiful, some were stunning. You can choose to sit through a service which you need to queue for. The atmosphere is serene and warm with the remarkable architecture and spectacular carvings inside and out. Prepare to get a little neck ache from always looking up at the amazing sights of the architecture, it is well worth it. If you have any concerns about pickpockets, yes you need to be alert of your belongings, but we felt safe as there was a good presence of police around the area, and everywhere we went in Barcelona. We would highly recommend a visit to la Sagrada Família. We would rate this 8/10
Such a great experience! Meeting the group was easy and the tour guide was amazing. He gave such great information!
The tour was amazing! Xavier the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, and extremely professional. Thank you!
This a very informative tour so it is for people who are Catholic and people with religious beliefs. I believe most people just want to enter to take pictures. The tour can take up to 2-3 hours. After the tour you can explore church grounds yourself which will take about 1 hour. (the meeting point was kind of tricky which was 1 block away from the entrance)
Nice and informative tour. Fernando, our gu of de was excellent.
The basilica is spectacular. Not to be missed with light from the stainless filling the space. Our guide was difficult to understand due to a heavy accent in the general noise levels within the basilica. We did have whisper headphones that helped, but getting information was a challenge
Chavier was an excellent guide. We really enjoyed the tour which was very informative. I highly recommend it.
Our guide Roberto was excellent and we had a wonderful experience
This tour gets a star because it’s not a scam like many other Sagrada Família ticket resellers. It legitimately got me inside the church, but that’s the only upside. The guide was not knowledgable, and was unable to answer my questions about the architectural design. I was able to answer my own questions and learn more through the free Sagrada Familia audio guide and museum downstairs. He also made jokes making fun of the sculptural style and artwork, which I found very offensive considering we were there to appreciate the art. Tour operators like this buy up all the official tickets so tourists have to go through them to secure entrance. Do yourself a favor and book tickets through the official site a month in advance so you don’t end up having to pay these ridiculous elevated prices for a useless service. Or, better yet, line up a couple hours before Mass on Sunday morning to get in for free.
The guide is exceptional. We usually do private tours through Centurion (highest level of Amex) throughout Europe, and this was by far the best tour guy I’ve ever experienced. He was heartfelt, kind, knowledgeable, funny. He extended the time for my daughter and I to view different areas that weren’t part of the normal tour. He has a beautiful soul, and I feel very fortunate that we experienced Sagrada Família with his energy.
Excellent tour. Would definitely recommend taking this tour
Are guide Franchesco was great, provide a lot of detail information. Highly would recommend and would book again.
Our guide was amazing. He was very kind and knowledgable.
Great tour with knowledgeable and friendly guide. Would recommend vs self guided audio tour. Thanks!
Tour guide Raimon not just knows in detail but, lives the experience to tell the details, ery engaging!
This was a great skip-the-line tour that I managed to book only two days in advance. Sagrada Familia inside is so beautiful and unique, like nothing I've ever seen before. Our guide, Raymon, was very knowledgeable. It was really interesting to learn about the history of the cathedral and all the architectural details and their symbolic significance.
Our guide was very knowledgable.
Experienced tour guide, not only great knowledge but also a great sense of humour, I loved this personal experience, would highly recommend.
We were met on time exactly where we were advised There were no tickets to buy, however Viator still had tickets. Our guide Miguel was amazing Made us laugh throughout. Spoke so many languages and then used all the windows in the cathedral to show us how everyone and every religion can come together He was so knowledgeable about every area in the cathedral 🤩
Xavier was a solid guide. Great sense in f humor. Patient, open minded and full of knowledge and fun factoids.
Very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and pleasant guide. Amazing beauty, engineering and architectural achievement.
Our guide, Maria, was very knowledgeable and very sweet! The experience was phenomenal!! NOBODY should leave Barcelona without seeing the inside of Sagrada Família (including the museum)!!
Disorganized getting in. Boring tour. Nice guide but not worth money. Even going to the front of the front of the queue wasn’t worth the price
Friendly guide , met us as arranged. Still had to wait a while before going into the church as long queue for security. The building is amazing.
Gloria was a fabulous guide the whole tour was professional and interesting. Would highly recommend.
Great tour. Would recommend. Clear and interesting material. Well organised. Lovely tour guide who took us around
Miguel was an awesome tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and worth the money spent.
Fantastic tour. Guide was knowledgeable, funny, charismatic and knew how to make everyone feel comfortable. Purchased this as I missed out on getting tickets and I’m so glad I booked this instead.
We have been to Sagrada Familia before, but this experience with the guide was awesome. He was so nice, polite, kind, friendly and interested in the job that we enjoyed every second of the tour. It was amazing and would definitely recommend this person for another groups. Thank you!
Miguel was a great tour guide. Informative, engaging, fun, and answered all extra questions. He made Sagrada Familia a great experience.
Messed up. 19 people is not a small group. No headphones no nothing. Good luck. Buyer beware. This is not what i paid for.
The tour was be exellent. Guide Fernando was amaizing. We are very satisfacions. We recommend this tour with this guide.
Giovana was great. She had tons of knowledge on the symbolism of the architecture and Gaudí himself. Highly recommend picking a tour with a smaller group size.
Naiara was a great guide. We will request her next time we are in the Barcelona. We did the Sagrada Familia with her. She knows the history, made it fun and light.
Excellent tour with Nestor in very busy conditions! He provided just the right amount of detail in a calm and unhurried way with a group of all ages . It’s a truly stunning Basilica . It was good to visit below the basilica. The museum is a hidden gem and less crowded than the church .
