Barcelona Private Tour: Tapas & Wine Tasting With Flamenco Show

My wife and I had a wonderful time with Victoria. Her extensive historical knowledge and enthusiasm made our personal tour one of the best we have done in over 40 years of traveling. Never was rushed, had delicious Tapas, drinks, and a great show to top off the night.

Great private tour. Did not realize it was private. Our guide was excellent. Even helped us with activities and dinner recommendations for the following day. He vas very friendly and informative. Would actually ask for Horacio again for any tour the next time in Barcelona

This tour was excellent. I did not realize it was a private tour. Horacio was warm funny and really knew his stuff. Took the time to make sure we understood everything presented and was a wealth of information. Above and beyond the historical sites. This included suggestions for what to do the next day and where to eat

We have been on several food tours and this was our least favourite. Partly my fault as I didn't realize that we would only have one food stop. Typically in a food tour, I have always had multiple stops for various food options along the way so if this is something you are expecting, maybe try a different tour. We sat with our guide who ordered a few tapas at one restaurant. We got cava at dinner and a drink at the show. We did not get wine as mentioned in the description. Flamenco show was not amazing. We were in the back row of a small venue with a big pole blocking the one side of the stage. Although that didn't really matter because there was a limited amount of dancing and mostly a person playing the guitar.

Friendly yet professional guide who is knowledgeable but keeps it interesting by focusing on showing you landmarks and shops based on your personal interests! Andy showed us some historic sites, pointed us to amazing drinks and tapas and made sure he got us everywhere timely without making us feel rushed. The flamenco dancing was impressive and a perfect way to end the night.

Koos Vos was our tour guide for this excursion. He is why I rated this as a 5! He was so great! He toured us through the Gothic section and was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city as well as the buildings! He took us to a tapas bar and ordered a great variety of tapas. Then on to the Flamenco show which was ok but not great for us. I just can't say enough about Koos he is a very special guy and was just so kind to our aging group.

Koos Vos was the most wonderful tour guide I have ever experienced! I have been to many countries and had many different guides but he went above and beyond! My brother got sick a few days before our tour and couldn't walk. We borrowed a wheelchair from our hotel and after we met Koos he insisted on pushing our brother's wheelchair while showing us the beautiful sites. He ordered a great variety of tapas for us to share and took us to the Flamenco show. He even meet us after the show to push my brother back to the hotel and showed us more sites and the best place to get Gelato! The show was just ok.

Very informative! Enjoyed Horatio very much! The food was wonderful and he gave us a lot of history of the area.

The private tours are excellent! You get maximum interaction with your tour guide. Our tour guide was Horacio. He took us to the first Guadi designed house. Gave us lots of history on Barcelona and Catalonia. We had tapas at Teller de Tapas. The chorizo in cider was very tasty. Excellent Cava (Spains version of champagne). The flamenco dancers were entertaining.

We found the tour by our guide Horatio to be phenomenal! He explained to us a lot of the history of the area and pointed out many things on the way to the restaurant. He walked at our pace and shared our meal with us because we asked him to. The food was more than the two of us could eat! We then moved towards the Flamenco Show which was some wonderful dancing and music. Very nice relaxing evening.

This was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Kasunie was amazing!! She was so much fun and knowledgeable. She gave a great tour of the gothic area of Barcelona. If you have an opportunity to choose Kasunie, please do!!! Our group likes to have fun and laugh. She was right there with us. Enjoyed every minute with Kasunie!!

Juan was an excellent and fun guide. He was so knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about architecture, individuals, government. The introduction to tapas was delicious and left us wanting to repeat the experience. The flamenco show was beautiful. If I return to Barcelona I would want Jaun to show us around. Such a gracious individual.

Victoria was our guide, and she made it so much fun! We walked through the Gothic Quarter (be aware, lots of walking), enjoyed some wonderful tapas, then had a delightful time at the small but very elegant theater where the Flamenco show was AWESOME! Would definitely recommend the tour to anyone that loves food and authentic music and dancing.

Bad seating at Flamenco show, paid top price and we were assigned bad seats, ie limited/partial view , thou they had seats with good view still available.

Frederic wanted to customize the experience, but it came across as unplanned. He did show us sights we would not have found otherwise. He answered all our questions and knew his history.

Alan was fantastic. I learned a wealth of information about Antoni Gaudi that enabled me to understand all the architecture that I was seeing in Barcelona. Alan took us to his favorite tapas restaurant where the food was phenomenal . The flamingo dancing was small setting and authentic

Getting background info on Gaudi and hearing about the history of the area. The flamenco experience was somewhat disappointing. We were expecting a more flamboyant presentation. The show was a bit boring & repetitive. Seating was not favorable. Tapas were okay, not great.

Really enjoyed all the information that Paolo had to offer. He was a very nice and knowledgeable young man. The food and show was also excellent. Expected just a short demo of flamenco and instead got to see an hour show. Highly recommend this tour.

We were fortunate to have Paolo as our guide, a native of Chile who now calls Barcelona home. He introduced us to hidden gems we hadn’t discovered and offered fresh perspectives on familiar spots, making the experience truly captivating. We especially appreciated the leisurely pace of the tour, allowing us to fully absorb each moment without feeling rushed. Although we wished the flamenco performance had been a bit closer for a more immersive experience, overall, Paolo made this tour unforgettable, creating a core memory for us. Thank you!

Our private tour with Valentina Carlone was magical! She is a superb, knowledgeable, kind guide. It was an honor to tour the old city with her. A meal of delicious tapas and a glass of wine with Valentina was a special feature for us. A memorable one we won’t forget because Valentina’s enthusiasm is contagious! The flamenco show was great, most especially the lead male dancer. He was superb! However, the sound system needs improvement.

Priceiclla was wonderful. Good touring. Only one food venue. Flamingo show was a poor selection of seats. We could not see the feet in the dancing which is the most important part. I do not recommend.

This was so much fun. Jennifer was amazing! She had a wonderful personality. She was knowledgeable, funny and made the whole trip enjoyable. She took us to streets, churches and bars we would never had found on our own. We got to have many delicious tapas and also great wine and cava. We ended the evening with a 1 hour flamenco show which was a nice experience. I highly recommend this tour. If you get Jennifer as your guide you are guaranteed a great experience!

Our tour guide, Simo’n, was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We learned about some history but it was not overwhelming. She kept it interesting and was very accommodating.

This was a lot of fun! We had little time in Barcelona and this was perfect. The right amount of tour, food, and entertainment. It was a private tour so we were able to talk more about the areas and the difference in cultures as compared in the U.S. The perfect tapas were selected and were delicious. At the end of the tour it felt like we had a friend walking around with us telling us the history of Barcelona.

Our guide was wonderful the taxi dropped us off at the wrong location and she made it her mission to find us she was very informative and told us a lot about the history. The tapas and wine were wonderful but was a little disappointed in the Flaminco show. We were so far back we couldn’t see very well
