We had a fun walking tour with our guide, Isabel! She picked us up at our hotel and took us all around the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. We had walked La Rambla before... but she took us up little alleys to find the hidden gems along the way! She also took us to the big market and pointed out some favorite things. She told us stories, took our photo, shared a little about her life here in Barcelona, and it felt like a very personal time together as friends. We loved that we had her all to ourself and could ask questions and make it more personal. We loved our time with Isabel and highly recommend her to others!

Frederick was knowledgeable and easy to be with. The day felt like we were with a friend who was sharing his city with us.

Anna is a fantastic person and an exceptional guide. She was able to construct a two day itinerary enabling us to see so many amazing sites all around Barcelona! We had prepurchased Passion Tower tickets and Gaudi House Museum tickets that she seamlessly worked into our adventure. My wife and I believe we got our monies worth and then some. Anna has a great personality and really knows Barcelona well. She researches the sites to be visited and has on hand unique facts and addendums to what we visited. After 20 miles of touring we are extremely happy with what we saw and learned. If you are lucky enough to have Anna assigned as your guide, know that you are in for an informative and exciting visit.

Alan was an excellent guide. His knowledge was top notch. He showed me all of the cool spots, and gave me great ideas for my solo trip on what to do next. He tailored the experience to things of my interest. Highly recommended for solo travelers who want to get ideas and see the city (on foot so bring comfy shoes)!

Anna was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, kind, and open to exploring our interests. She took us through gothic neighborhood and focused on history, culture, and architecture

Johnathan was very casual and informative! We walked around the districts in a timely manner (10 miles, 20k steps!) seeing the external architecture and hearing stories. Wear your walking shoes, clean your eyeballs, open your ears, take it all in with this tour!

Good option to have a flexible, private tour; however, our first guide canceled on us the night before. Our new guide was generous to meet us early to create an agenda last minute. Thankfully we didn't need any advance tickets. We enjoyed walking through the different neighborhoods, seeing the architectural diversity with Jonathan.

We met Pau punctually at our meeting point for a 3 hour walking tour of Barcelona. Pau then proceeded to show us lots of off the beaten track places “hidden gems”, he had so much knowledge and information to share and was very passionate about his home city of Barcelona. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour which ran over time as he made sure we got to our next Viator booking - a Flamenco Dance show.

We completed the Tapas Walking Street Food tour in September 2025. The communication provided both pre and post tour was excellent. They took time to ensure your tastes were catered for and matched this to the tour. The guide was excellent in keeping in touch. He was passionate and very experienced regarding the history of Barcelona and the old town. He took us to some excellent tapas bars that provided a great range of tastes and food experiences. All in all, a great experience and Alan you were a wonderful guide.

Largely focuses on the Gothic Quarter, but provides a great introduction to Barcelona City. It is two hours of constant walking.

Nicole was very patient. We delt with rain most of afternoon and he was still able to maneuver the city and provide just the right amount of history and background.

This group is fabulous at communication. Seriously, you hear from the company upon booking and then from your guide on your preferences to customize your experience multiple times before the tour. We opted for their recommendations almost entirely. We had Alfredo and he was great. Good sense of humor, easy to understand and brought visuals to help his tour. We really enjoyed it and he helped us even after the tour find places to eat based on his local recommendations. Give them a try they were great for us

We walked with this guide for a solid 4 hours (after having to buy tickets to take a train and a bus to get from our hotel) At this price we anticipated that our tour would include entrance to at least Sagrada Familia. He seemed knowledgeable about aspects of Gaudi but was more focused on local street art and Brought us into a lot of stores - some touristy and some over the top expensive.

Ellen is a warm, gracious, and knowledgeable host. The barrio we chose to tour is Sants where we had delicious bites throughout the neighborhood. The sampling covered traditional Catalon dishes. Ellen accomodated every food and destination request. We highly recommend this tour!

I would definitely recommend City Unscripted for a local tour where I was able to set the pace and we were able to make changes to the itinerary when needed.
