I had a terrible experience using the Go City pass, and I strongly recommend buying official tickets directly instead. It costs MORE than direct tickets: I bought the 3-attraction Barcelona Pass for €114. For context, direct official ticket prices for the top three sights are: Sagrada Família (with guided tour): €30 Park Güell (with guided tour): €35 Casa Batlló: €35 Total official cost: €100. You are literally paying €14 more just to use Go City. Misleading restrictions: After buying the pass, I discovered you cannot even book certain major attractions together (for example, choosing between Sagrada Família and Casa Batlló). Go City does NOT inform you of these mutual exclusivity rules before you purchase. It feels incredibly deceptive. Extremely limited timeslots: Even if an attraction is available, the timeslot options for pass holders are severely restricted compared to booking directly. Popular attractions showed almost no availability through the pass, while the official websites had plenty of open slots. No guaranteed entry: Buying a pass does NOT mean you have a confirmed ticket. You still have to make separate reservations, and you carry the constant risk of them canceling your booking at the very last minute.
Meeting spot was a little out of the way but all other parts of tour was great
I purchased a Go City pass about 3 months before my trip in June. We are yet to go on our holiday and I am already majorly regretting this choice it has been the biggest headache and caused so much stress. My partner and I have had two unexplained cancellations between us, one for the Sagrada Família which we then could not rebook as it was only a month away. I tried ringing Amigo Tours over multiple issues and they just say it’s a problem with GoCity and can’t help. Today, the week of our trip, my transport to Montserrat has been cancelled and my partners has not and there is no other day we can go. I do not think it’s worth the money and I would encourage people to book each attraction privately for ease, less stress and it is not that much more expensive. There is no easy way to contact GoCity, they don’t answer messages or emails and there’s no phone number I can locate. Not worth it- I just hope now we’ve committed nothing else goes wrong.
We liked Adrians guided tour of the Sagrada Famiglia. He helped us understand more and be amazed of the marvelous architecture.
Everything went great for us.
I stayed in Barcelona for 7 days and boight the 5-days pass. Totally worth it, it made me experience so many things I would have probably missed without the pass. It aldo made me save many on all the attractions I visited. Loved the little things you don't find in orher passes, like food and drink experiences
very poor experience, i have raised issues with chat through app- have not received reply i will not recommend this pass to anyone
One of the best all inclusive tour passes out there. Any time I travel I look for this pass and buy it for our family.
Very good selection of attractions to choose from. Some need to be booked well in advance. My only criticism is the requirement to be five consecutive days. It would be great to have an option to purchase flexible day choice, to allow adjustments based on poor weather, flight delays, and other potential barriers or schedule conflicts.
Great experience, easy to use, extremely cost effective. Recommended to take as many days as possible to make the most of all the benefits.
I would recommend that if you haven't booked a seat for the guided tour, you can enter with a simple ticket.
Barcelona All inclusive Barcelona Pass Unsatisfactory 1047105403 I do not recommend. I bought the All inclusive pass. First of all, it is very well thought out. The offer is generous, but you do not have time, physically, to use even half of the objectives. Second, the reservations made in advance were not highlighted in the application. Third, the terrible communication: - I was sent emails that I requested the cancellation of some tours, although there was no such thing; - 2 tours were canceled and I was notified a few hours in advance, which upset our entire schedule; - only one of the guided tours booked had an identification sign from the guide (the operating agency emblem), the other 4 did not, as such, I lost a guided tour and was also penalized with 20 euros/person; - some objectives were not available, even though they were listed in the pass value of approximately 250 euros; - we were only satisfied with the guides Ariadna, Felix and Blanca; Very bad interface: outsourced operators who told us that we participated in the tour, that we canceled, that we would have another tour even though we had been. In a word, lack of respect!
Using the Go City pass made the experience seamless. Would highly recommend buying a pass and planning your city sights around it.
I was blown away by the amount of details and symbolisms that were embedded throughout the structure. Our tour guide was excellent in explaining them all. Pictures are not even close to the majestic views you get when inside the church.
Stunning monument. a great guide is a must to make to must of of the architectural detailing. Highly recommend amigo tours
I booked a guided tour of Park Guell with Amigo Tours through Go City, paying a considerable amount for the service. According to the terms and conditions stated in the confirmation email, if I failed to show up for the tour, I would lose the service and Amigo Tours would charge me for it since Go City wouldn't recognize the service as being provided. However, on the day of the tour, I fell and was delayed, arriving late to the meeting point. I contacted the agency for assistance 30 minutes before the scheduled meeting time, but received no response, neither by phone (I phoned 6 times) nor through their chat. I even used the agency's app to contact the guide, but still received no response. When I arrived, the tour had already started and we were unable to enter the park because the guide had the tickets. We waited for the next tour, hoping that the guide would be able to assist us or add us to the new tour, but she said she couldn't do anything for us. We ended up waiting for an hour for the next tour, but still didn't receive any assistance. As a result, we lost not only the tour, but also the morning of our trip. Furthermore, I was charged 60 euros for the service, despite not receiving it. I tried to contact the agency to resolve the issue, but received no response. Even when I met two agency assistants on the street, they did nothing to help me. I am aware of the contract terms, but I believe the agency was lacking in providing assistance and support when needed. The lack of assistance and professionalism is unacceptable. I strongly advise against using Amigo Tours and Go City for anyone looking for a reliable and professional tour service. I hope this review helps other travelers avoid a similar experience to mine.
It was a great journey, with Go City I made it quite straight forward arrangement. It is quite as expected as I planned, although 2 of my main visit points was cancelled before my visit,, but I got informed beforehand so it do little harm to my whole journey, I could select among the other visit points for the replacement. I covered all the 7 places in my pass, 2 of them I need to change for a physical ticket at the entrance, 2 of them I could got with my tour guide directly, and the other 3 I can consume with showing my Go City pass directly, very convenience. I will definitely using Go City for my next journey, great App!
Easy to use. Good value. Good tour guides. Take the hop and off bus to fill in the gaps. The la sagrada familia was amazing!
Roger was a great guide, very knowledgeable , overall it was a great tour. The time was good and it was very well organized
Marta was such a great guide! Interesting, detailed, and helpfull. We enjoyed every step of Park Guell! We recommend tour!
Our tour guide (David) was very knowledgeable, and very helpful in answering questions. He made sure that our whole group (10) saw important, interesting things during our excellent tour.
WARNING: DO NOT BUY – THIS IS A SCAM. The pass does not grant entry to any of the attractions advertised. During my trip, I tried contacting the operator hoping they would assist and received no response. I’m out over $600, but I’m leaving this review to save others from the same mistake. Stay away.
They were very well organized with detail messages to let you know where to meet them. And Anna the tour girl was so nice explaining every little detail. Thank you Amigo Tour
This place you must see. I never seen anything like that. I would suggest to go with gide as you find out the history facts very interesting
Beautiful mountain top escape from the city. It was very foggy in the beginning of the tour and the drive up., but the sky cleared up we got some beautiful pictures.
It was a great tour, you cannot miss this place and the history behind is totally worthy. Our tour guy was a nice person, hw know all the facts but his English was hard to understand.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Park Güell yesterday. Our tour guide, Anna, was knowledgeable and didn’t make us feel rushed at any point. She found us great spots to take photographs and shady spots to talk to us as a group. Would highly recommend Amigo Tours for a visit here. Thank you Anna!
The Park Guell guided tour was great. Miguel our guide was fantastic. Very knowledgable and friendly. We enjoyed the visit.
Great tour. Roger was an excellent tour guide. Appreciate the details. Very good value.Skipping the line was a bonus. Easy entry.
Our tour guide was excellent, as was the Sagrada Familia. Our guide was patient, friendly, and informative. We found the information she shared with us really helped us understand the images and construction of the Basílica.
Laura our tour guide was amazing! This is a tour not to be missed. The Virgin Mary is an experience you will never forget!!!
Had an amazing tour at the Sagrada Familia with Martoca (sorry if I’m misspelling!). She made the experience unforgettable with her knowledge and passion. Absolutely stunning place, and the way she explained everything brought it to life. 10/10 would recommend!
The pass was well worth it we were able to pick from several attractions . You can pre book your attractions with skip the line!!!
Absolutely loved this tour and experience! Montserrat was beautiful and the weather was perfect! Our tour guide Laura was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and connected with the area it was amazing hearing everything from her and sharing her love of the city/country!
Great tour with David. Guide was very clear and it was just enough info to learn about Parc Guell. The tour is hour and half so be sure not to book another attraction so close together. You need time to walk/bus.
The tour guide was great and place is beyond imagination. The church is the best i wish to come again on my own without any travel agency.
Amazing. Very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. We stopped at places to stop and sit so that we had some rest
Beautiful experience! The guy who guided us was very clear and also funny! Very precise in his explanations! I really enjoyed having a guide because the Sagrada Familia is a work full of meanings and particularities that might escape the untrained eye.
Our guide was Roger. It was informative but I found his English very hard to understand, so I had to concentrate a lot and watch what he was pointing at in order to understand much.
This review is unfair. The guide is worth 5 stars. He was awesome!!!! The process of booking (thru go city), finding the guide, getting there early with no idea of what to look for gets 1 star. I don’t want to penalize the guide for giving a bad rating, but Amigo tours as an organization is unimpressive. If you can get past the crappy processes, the guide was super knowledgeable, answered all the questions, and really did a great 5 star job.
All worked perfectly, our guide Roger explained in detail and answered all our questions. Very kind and interesting tour.
Cassandra was a great guide. We had some trouble with our booking going through and she was able to help us though it all. The tour of the park was fantastic!
Toured so much more of the gothic (neo-gothic) quarter than I ever would have without a guide. History was fascinating! Our guide, Anna, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Happy we went on this adventure. The snacks and drinks at end were very limited and just ok. Generic beer, generic wine, or soda.
Casandra was really knowledgeable and explained all the parts and the history of the park clearly. She also gave us multiple opportunities to take photos.
Roger was great! Very knowledgeable and informative. Easy to hear and had answers to every question. Will be back again
Trip was great! We'll worth it. Driver was great getting us there and back safely and Blanca was amazing. Very Helpful! !
Amazing and very knowledgeable guide! He was able to us everything we needed to know - and even stuff we didn't realise we needed to know - about thus beautiful church!
Very disappointed with Amigo Tours. There was no headcount taken and I was left behind while my family joined the tour. I had no way to reach them once the tour started. When I called the office, I was told it was our fault and no refund would be given. No accountability from the team, and poor coordination by the tour guide. Would not recommend.
I took my family to Park and we really enjoyed it. The tour guide was exceptional, perfect trip timing and seamless experience. Would definitely recommend Amigo Tours
