Would highly recommend this bike tour to anyone. We are in Barcelona for only a limited time and wanted to see as much as we could in the few days. Went on this bike tour and it became one of the highlights. Mariana our tour guide was fantastic! She catered the tour to our abilities ( we are avid riders) and adjusted the tour to what we wanted to see. We biked through the Gothic quarter, visited Olympic stadium and pool and did some sight seeing in the Mont Juic area! We also stopped for a great cup of coffee and traditional pastries ! Everything was terrific!

We stop for a refreshment break in a local chiringuito bar.

Barcelona's Arc de Triomf: iconic red brick monument, gateway to 1888 Universal Exhibition, neomudejar style, symbol of progress and modernity.
Historic Gothic basilica in Barcelona's El Born, inspired by maritime heritage, built by shipbuilders in 14th century, stunning architectural masterpiece.
Barcelona's Gothic Quarter: maze of medieval streets, historic buildings, vibrant plazas, rich history, heart of old city, captivating architecture, cultural landmarks, bustling atmosphere, and unique shops.

A fun tour that took us all around Barcelona to so many sights we would have never found on our own. Riding an ebike was an easy way to see many of the great Barcelona sights. The tour lasted 4 hrs and made time for stops at several places including for snacks and a closer look at some of the attractions. Our guide Augustin was knowledgeable, friendly and humorous. Really enjoyed it. Totally worth it.
My husband and I really enjoyed our off the beaten track bicycle tour with Ophelie. I have never been to Barcelona before and wanted to learn about less touristy areas and explore lesser known areas. Going on this trip early in our time here really helped me to get a better mental map of the city and learn what areas of town I wanted to spend more time in. Ophelie was very knowledgeable and we stopped often during our four-hour tour to learn about history, architecture, and landmarks. She was also friendly and a great conversationalist. We enjoyed our time with her and are looking into taking one of her food tours!
Get to places on two wheels you wouldn’t have otherwise. So fun riding through the city! Alejandra was terrific.
How wonderful to get to ride with and be guided by Alejandra on our first day in and first trip to Barcelona! And by bike was ideal. Love the locations she chose and the important local Barcelona regional Catalonia history and touchstones she shared. From in person views to print photos from her guide book. She also went above and beyond in sharing photos, videos, and restaurant recommendations with us after our tour. : )
Ale was a great guide - passionate and knowledgeable about Barcelona and a good sense of fun. We really enjoyed getting to know Barcelona on our first day this way so we could get a sense of where we wanted to go to visit again, and to also become familiar with it. The stop for tapas at the end was very welcome!! Thanks so much Ale for a really wonderful experience.
Exceptional tour. Good quality bikes. We had e-bikes. Julio was a great tour host and informative. Great sight stops and very varied.
Alejandra was a fantastic guide for our family! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. She showed us interesting places we wouldn’t have found on our own and shared Catalan history and culture with us. Thank you for a great afternoon!
We spent a wonderful bike tour with Alejandra! All along the afternoon, she passed on to us her passion for this multi-faceted city and we got to see Barcelona spots we would’ve thought of visiting. We learned lots along the way on life in the city, history and street-art. The stop for tapas in Els Sortidor del Parliament was an even nicer touch to this active afternoon.
We signed up for this trip on the basis of strong reviews on Viator and TripAdviser but were sorely disappointed. First, it was difficult to get to the meeting point due to inaccurate information given and the construction going on nearby. the normal passway to the meeting spot was blocked off by a construction and the signs for roundabout were poorly marked and almost impossible for out-of-towners to figure out. The store front did not even have any sign for "Ocean Bikes" so even people working near by could not help us find the place. We contacted the tour operator as we stumbled around the area trying to find the place but did not hear back until after the tour was already over. We waited half an hour before starting the bike tour for people who end up being no-shows but I bet these people had the same difficulty finding the meeting point as we did. The bikes were poorly maintained. My bike had a broken kickstand and without a bell (which made it a semi-suicide mission to be led through crowded, narrow back alleys in the Old Town). The gears of my husband's bike stopped working mid-tour. The tour guide (Mariana)'s English was hard to follow and she was not very good about making sure that the three children (not ours) in the group were keeping up with us through the crowded back alleys of the Old Town and negotiating the various traffic lights. We almost lost a family within the group as a result. She was yacking with someone in the group about things that had nothing to do with the tour itinerary or Barcelona, wasting a lot of others' time waiting for them to finish their "private" conversations. She hawked us ad nauseum about her other business, a boat tour guide. She was texting on the phone as she was leading us through less traffic-heavy places. I had read great reviews about some of the tour guides so I surmise a lot depends on who you get as tour guide. Between our bad luck in getting Mariana and the poor up-keeps of the bikes (and the lack of communication about how to get there and warning about the construction in the area), I would not recommend this trip to my family and friends at least.
This was an amazing tour! Such a fun way to learn about the city. Our guide, Austin, was fantastic!! Organized, kind, with such a fun and informative lens on Barcelona. I would highly recommend!
First off, the direction to the meeting point was poorly described. There was no warning of construction that messed up the GPS and obstructed the way to the meeting point. There was a huge roundabout (poorly marked also) but no warning about it. The name of the business Ocean Bikes was not even on the store front so no locals knew what we were looking for to help us. We sent the tour operator three messages but we did not receive a response until way after the meeting time. Good thing we got the general vicinity half an hour early so we could afford to stumble around for an hour finally to find the spot. We had to wait half an hour for two others who signed up before finally departing without them. I bet they were having the same trouble we encountered. The bikes were poorly maintained. the one given to me had a broken kick stand and did not have a bell (which made it scary when the director had to bike through narrow, crowded back alleys. I had to keep shouting to the pedestrians pretty much through that whole phase through the crowded Old Town streets). My partner's bike's gears stopped working during the tour. The tour director (Mariana)'s English was marginal and hard to understand. She would keep chatting with one particular guest about things that did not have anything to do with the tour or Barcelona and wasted a lot of time. She was not not good about staying with bikers (including three children) when biking through town and we lost them a few times. She was going too fast when we biked through crowded narrow back alleys and it was an accident waiting to happen. Between the poorly maintained bikes, a not very professional tour director and the extremely poor direction to the meeting spot, I will never recommend it to anytone. We signed up based on good reviews so I surmised a lot depend on who your tour director is.
Ale was such a great guide! We had such a fun time with her. We both saw and learned a lot, and had a lot of laughs! I loved seeing things I wouldn't see on a run of the mill tour and feeling like I was with friends!
Fantastic tour seeing parts of the city we probably wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Loved finding out some history and local facts. Alejandra’s English was great and she couldn’t have been more helpful. Couldn’t recommend enough!
Mariana was a delightful guide and have us a very personalised and insightful tour; as we were a “private” tour she was very flexible to take us both where we wanted to go and to offer a suggested itinerary. Altogether it was entertaining and fascinating and I thank our guide for being so accommodating.
Alex did a great job as our tour guide, thank you very much! Liked the 2nd half of the tour the best, more stops and more interesting narration. Thanks Alex!
One of my favorite activities in Barcelona thus far! Alex was a great guide! Hes super knowledgeable about the development of the city and how things cane to be—which was really cool to hear about. I thought my friends and I already saw enough local experiences but i was so wrong. Alex showed us so much more to local areas in Barcelona that we never wouldve seen otherwise. Amazing.
Alex gave a great tour, we went to so many local neighborhoods it was very cute and he was knowledgeable in the city's history
Alejandro was our tour guide. she is exceptional; entertaining, fun, energetic, way beyond our expectations. She took us places with our bikes that we would probably not try on foot because of the crowd congestion in narrow back alleys of the old town. She loves Barcelona and takes pride in introducing the city to the visitors. Highly recommended
It was an amazing city tour with the best guiede: Alejandra!!! We were 4, 2 from New Zealand and 2 from Argentina. The guide gave us the tour in english. We enjoyed this tour very much! Alejandra is amazing!!, she is very fun and very energetic!
Perfect tour with Alex! Really took his time and told us everything from the local information to the touristic highlights. Great ride, we laughed, had an amazing lunch and we will definitely go with him again on a different tour!
Amazing atmosphere, a very friendly guide who made the experience even more enjoyable. Great to discover some places that only the locals will know. I don't cycle often so was a little bit worried but it turned out to be just the right pace.
Spectacular tour! Super professional and friendly guides Alex and Alexandra. Super recommended! We loved it.
Excellent dynamic, fun and inspiring the bike tour making different stops for the guide to tell us super interesting stories. Time has flown by, the tour is very easy to do, the dates are beautiful. The best photos of the whole trip. Thank you for the great service.
